Bellamy Blake((ooc// I'm thinking that after a few posts we can time skip it to the meeting where Lexa tells them of her plan?)) LEXA KOM TRIKRU Though she didn't trust Skaikru that much, she trusted the people that she had summoned here. Besides, one wrong move and one of her guards would come forth so long as she didn't get to it first. Taking him aside to talk to him alone while leaving the others to wander Polis might cause offense yet she was willing to take that risk. She'd had time alone to talk to the others and she knew from experience that people gave their more honest opnions and gestures when away from their peers. There was a lot that needed to be said and done before the summit that night. "Yes. I haven't had a chance to properly talk to you yet. I can assure you it's nothing terrible." Lexa spoke, before directing her next words to the others. "You may wander Polis, see the sights. It won't take us long and then we can discuss why you all are here." Just a little bit longer and they would know.
"While here you will not want for anything." She gave them a curt nod before motioning for Bellamy to follow her. She had expected him to be more raw after what happened in Mount Weather; it wasn't just Clarke that carried the burden but Bellamy as well. Clarke had been a massive ball of emotion, spitting in her face. Bellamy was more pulled back in his emotions and that made him much more dangerous and unpredictable. The guilt she felt at turning Clarke into the girl she was today extended to Bellamy. They shouldn't have had to do what they did and wouldn't if she hadn't taken the deal from Cage. She was the warrior, the deaths should be on her hands. What were more deaths to add to her already massive total? At least she could have spared the horrors of all those deaths on the pair.
Walking through the streets, Lexa didn't have to avoid the people milling about. They moved out of her way though sometimes a child or two would run in front of her, causing her to slow her pace or stop for a few moments and watch the children with a soft expression. Sometimes she said a hello when they paid her attention rather than the game of tag they played. Behind her her guards followed silently, watching Bellamy with guarded expressions, ready to leap to their Heda's defense at a moment's notice.
"I know how you must feel about me." Lexa began - she didn't exactly think highly of herself right now let alone others. "Tell me Bellamy. Would you still work together with us for peace even with your feelings?" She needed to know if she could count on him, or if he was going to a potential threat in her plan. - - - - -

iah((ooc// welp, this post really amused me mainly because out of everywhere she could have asked to see, she asked about stables xDD)) LEXA KOM TRIKRU Though Lexa didn't have all the power in and over Azgeda, she still had some power that put her above the rest of the Ice tribe. For starters, Ontari had to do as she was asked of and had to accompany her. She had doubts that Ontari even wanted to be given this job of showing the Heda around, none of the Ice Nation would. Refusal was not an option, having some else accompany her was also not an option. Lexa had made her mind up on who was taking her and that was final. Even Nia couldn't argue although she half suspected that the Queen had her own agenda for agreeing. She wouldn't do something unless she got something good out of it. For now it would be worth it; the Heda wasn't going to give out any secrets.
This was a close as she'd been to Ontari for the most part they'd seen each other from a comfortable distance. Up closer she could see her facial markings more clearly, like all of Azgeda Ontari wore scars as part of their identity, much like Heda's with their tattoos. Both permanent fixtures, both full of pain. For Lexa, it seemed to glow with inner strength, matching what she thought of Ontari. That inner strength to survive against all odds, the inner strength to survive Nia. But her gaze did not linger on the scars, in fact they were in her peripherals as she was looking directly into her eyes. With what Ontari was saying about blue fingers, Lexa took her seriously rather than think she was making some sort of joke. It was cold here, much more different than the warm forests she was used to back in Trikru.
"Lead the way." Lexa motioned with her hand so they could get moving, adjusting her pace to keep up with the much faster footed girl. Pace was no matter for the Heda who could walk fast or slow depending on the circumstances and what she was needing to do at the time. She was thinking about what Ontari said and now Lexa needed to figure out how to draw this out for as long as possible. She thought about it, noting that some of Azgeda were on horses which meant they must have stables. Usually stables were situated close enough for the animals to be grabbed at a moments notice but far away enough that the crowds and noises of the main buildings didn't freak them out or get in the way.
It might come across as the enemy wanting information about the weaknesses of the enemy mount but this had nothing to do with battles or war. And if asked why she would simply say she wanted to check on her faithful steed to make sure he was being well cared for. Let them think she was distrustful rather than allow her real feelings on the subject be exposed because that didn't just put Lexa in danger. It put Ontari in danger as well. "The stables. We don't have to go now. On the way." Frankly it didn't bother her when it happened, just that it would. - - - - -

iah ((ooc// awwww these twoooooooo <3 I'M EXCITED TOO!)) LEXA KOM TRIKRU Oh how she loathed to wake up the sleeping form that was Ontari. In the dark she couldn't see much yet she was still able to see her and she hoped that the beating of her heart could not be heard in the quiet nights of Polis. Still, as she shifted beneath her blankets, Lexa peered closer only to pull back when she murmured something. Now she was really hoping the trip into Polis outskirts to see the stars would be worth waking Ontari up. And she was hoping Ontari wouldn't be too mad by Lexa pulling her from her slumber. Too late for a change of plans, she needed to continue this now even if the little voice in the back of her mind told her to go back to bed.
She half crouched so that she was more eye-level with Ontari rather than simply standing over her. Ontari was so beautiful, even in the dark light and she, much like her Natblida sibling, felt relief that it was dark in the room because her own cheeks flushed a little, the heat evident of her inner thoughts. "I know you like sleeping and I apologize for waking you." Lexa began. Now that inner voice was telling her to hush and walk away. Pretend nothing happened. Her biggest fear at this point was probably her emotions being found out and rejected because she had them. Or rejection in general. Lexa was afraid and it didn't help she never really had these feelings before and no-one told her what exactly was going on.
"Nothing is wrong." Lexa tried to assure her friend that everything was fine. Ignore the thumping of her heart or the way her stomach flip flopped when Ontari looked at her or the way she hung onto her every word. "I'm sorry if I startled you. I just want to show you something." No way was she going to tell her where they were going or what it was, though that begged the question. "You trust me, right?" Trust her to keep them safe. Trust her to take the fall if they were caught. This was all Lexa's idea and so she would happily take all the blame if it meant Ontari didn't get punished. What was the punishment for going into the outskirts at night? It wasn't exactly safe out there, no guards, nothing. Enemies could be prowling, just waiting.
Except they wouldn't truly be in the outskirts. Just in the forest area where they trained during the day. The area overlooked Polis and had the perfect view to watch the skies above and that was where she wanted to take Ontari. To share with her what Lexa saw, the beauty and tranqility of the night skies, the stars and the moon. And the beauty that was the girl before her. - - - - -

iah ((ooc// holy crap I didn't realize the extent of how Lexa feels on Nia's cruelty, daaaaaamn)) LEXA KOM TRIKRU Lexa had gone to Azgeda for some 'official' business though it was more to make sure Nia was not planning anything and because she visited each of the twelve clans as a sign of good faith. She wouldn't be Heda for long if she simply ignored them and she'd already visited Trikru and Floukru. Originally she was going to leave Azgeda for last mainly because it was going to be draining and it was cold; they weren't called the Ice Nation for nothing and it had nothing to do with their icy personalities. With her guards flanking either side and arriving on horseback, Lexa had been greeted as cold as the air around them. Ignoring some of the looks, Lexa had made her way into the inner portion of Azgeda, officially announced her presence and that had been that.
Not really.
Plenty of things had happened since arriving in Azgeda. Right now she waited for Ontari, the 'right hand' of Nia. She'd requested to be shown around and suggested Ontari since she knew Nia wouldn't get off her throne to show Lexa around, no matter how proud the woman was of her tribe. She'd dismissed her own guards in effort to make Ontari feel a little safer, more at ease and that was mainly done out of what she had witnessed earlier. She knew Nia was a cruel woman but snippets of the day replayed in her head and Lexa felt the anger shift beneath the calm surface. To be so powerless against such blatant cruelty - if she wanted to start a war she would have interjected. This was Azgeda lands and Lexa could not stop the Queen.
It angered her, sickened her. Lexa may have been Heda, leader of her people and commander of the twelve clans but even she never used her anger against her subjects. Not to that extent, sure she might snap and snarl and that was usually in Titus's face but otherwise, she wanted to be seen as a leader that her people could trust, not fear. Asking Ontari to show her around was in effort to get her away from Nia for a few hours and just feel freedom and safety. That alone might be cruel, to show her safety and then tear it from her when she left(because she could not take Ontari out of Azgeda) but she was hoping the few moments would be enough. Enough for what, she didn't know.
She waited just outside, the chill of the air causing goosebumps to prickle along her skin. She pulled the cloak a little tighter around her frame and closed her eyes briefly. Azgeda. She should have had Nia killed, not spared her. Those thoughts were banished the moment she heard approaching footsteps and she turned to face the girl who she was so powerless to protect. "Ontari." Lexa responded to her greeting with a slight incline of her head. "I'd appreciate that. We can begin whenever your ready." Her voice was cordial, the same tone of voice she used when talking to any member of her coalition(except Nia; with that woman there was always a bite to the edge of her voice because the woman got under her skin, leaving an itch she could not scratch and not in a good way). - - - - -

iah LEXA KOM TRIKRU Growing up in Polis and the environment she lived in left little room for crushes. She was fifteen, growing into a young woman whose heart would beat painfully whenever her gaze lingered too long on Ontari. A year ago she would never entertain the idea of a crush, too busy training, too busy absorbing everything she needed to learn in order to become a better Heda. Now though, she suposed it was because she was waiting for Ontari to catch up. To say she was crushing pretty heavily was a major understatement. Lexa even made some excuses just to be near her, such as moving to pair herself up with the other girl during training, sitting next to her when they were lectured by their Heda.
The night was bright, littered with thousands of stars and the moon at its fullest. A beautiful sight that Lexa wanted to share and she couldn't help but want to share it with Ontari. She'd already found out some of the weaker links in Polis where she could sneak out to see, having done so a few times already to help cope with her loneliness. Despite having people around her, she didn't exactly fit in much at times. The girl was serious, trained a little more than she should, was always wanting to learn what she could. Absorb everything like a sponge. She did spend time with the others, playing around but it was a far cry from when she was younger. Her younger self was less serious because she was still a child. Now she was growing up, and it was time to leave the child behind.
Already she had climbed out of bed because she hadn't been able to sleep. She'd sat at the window to look outside, the only lights in the streets came from fires that burned for illumination. Though with such a bright sky, there was really no need. For several moments she had debated about her plan before getting up off the window sil and padded down the quiet hallways until she reached the room where Ontari slept. She lightly knocked on the door before entering, trying to be as quiet as possible until she got a little closer. "Ontari? You awake?" Lexa's voice wasn't as loud as it could be, not wanting to draw too much attention from outside sources. - - - - -

Instead of Trigedasleng, their conversation shifted to English and Lexa knew that she was facing a warrior; or at least someone who trained as a warrior. In most tribes, only the warriors could speak both and for Lexa she had learned when she arrived in Polis. She was content to simply listen for the time being, letting the words mull over in her head. She'd heard enough, raising up her hand for silence as she debated. "Your reasons for leaving are your own." Reasons didn't matter to her as much as future actions did.
Lexa watched in silence as Mikha tossed her weapons to Lexa's feet, every weapon the girl had on her were now a pile before her. Then she did something Lexa had not asked, nor expected. She bowed. That was huge for any grounder, especially an Azgeda bowing to Trikru.
It wasn't Azgeda that did anything, well not entirely. Though Nia had killed the love of her life, Azgeda were not wholly innocent either. They were just as quick to kill wandering Trikru members even though they were part of the same coalition. "Not many leave the shelter and safety of their clan." Lexa continued to watch the girl, Mikha, for any signs, any flicker anything that would cause Lexa to doubt the very integrity of her words.
"If I find out you've been lying I will personally cut off your head myself." Lexa warned her before she stepped around the weapons and stood in front of Mikha. Slowly she sheathed her sword, taking her time in case the situation shifted and then she extended her hand. "Rise Mikha of Azgeda." Lexa took a few steps back and nodded towards the weapons. "You are still marked as Azgeda, no matter the fact you're a loner. If you are seen you will be killed. Do you have a destination or are you simply hoping to kill and loot those that fall by the blades you carry?"

Gods be good she loved the woman in her arms. Costia had allowed Lexa to hug her rather than deny her that need, that comfort, though really she should have known she wouldn't be turned away. Costia had been her friend first, lover second. "I'll have to order you just like I order the others." A notion she didn't find satisfying but knew she could not show favortism like that. Titus was going to pitch a fit in his own Titus way and she knew he'd want Lexa to order Costia out of Polis and back to their village while speaking his mantra that love is weakness. It was clear that she didn't like the idea of giving Costia orders and she knew Costia would listen no matter what was asked, even if it was difficult. "I should be commanding you to pack and leave for Tondc in the morning." She didn't need to see her face to know what sort of reaction she might get because of her words. Her head, that had been nuzzling in the crook of her neck, now pulled back so she could look into her face as she spoke. "I want you to stay in Polis. I know it's a big ask. But I need you." The sixteen year old commander spoke, the emotion in her words matched the emotion in her eyes. The only way she'll send Costia away is if she needed an ambassador, someone she could trust. Someone that she loved more than life itself. Because she now knew, as if there had been any doubt, that Costia still felt the same way for her regardless of what happened. And that was a beautiful feeling amidst the darkness. Yes, Lexa knew there was a celebration for the new Heda. It was both a time for celebration and a time for mourning and before she had gone to the conclave, Lexa had been so stupid. She wasn't just mourning the loss of their former Heda but she was also mourning the loss of her Natblida siblings. Some of which died by her own hand. Hands that were gently touching the love of her life, both on her back to hold her close. She just wanted them to let her mourn and yet she knew she couldn't do that. With Costia she could because she was safe. The moment she left the room of the commander she had to act as though she wasn't hurting. Be the leader her people deserved. Lexa smiled softly. "Nothing that won't heal in time." Physical wounds would heal, it was the emotional ones she was more worried about. Costia would see the wounds soon enough, the ones hidden beneath her night gown. Her torso and legs held injuries, from cuts to bruises and there was a large bruise on her upper arm and shoulder closer to her back. Letting Costia go for a moment, Lexa twisted around so the light was visible on the bruise. On the same arm was a clean bandage that wrapped around her arm, covering up a nasty gash. Up until now she had used shadows to hide the bruise, and though she wanted to protect Costia from the horrors of the conclave and the aftermath, she also knew Costia would want to help. Costia

Bellamy Blake((ooc// let me know if this works for you! figured they could have a bit of an interaction before she summons them all to the room and tells them of her plan)) Lexa had been thinking for a while now. At Mount Weather she had abandoned Skaikru because at the time she thought what was best for her people and that had been to take the deal offered. If it was easy for her to break treaty with Skaikru, what about her people? What kind of example was she setting? That was not the way to peace and she needed to find an alternative. The idea came to her soon enough and she thought about it long and hard to make sure it was the right thing to do. She'd sent an invitation out to those she thought were needed to be here for it. Abby, Kane, Clarke and Bellamy. She trusted Kane and had a lot to make up to Clarke. Abby was on the fence but she was the leader of Skaikru in title. She didn't know Bellamy personally yet she had been witness to his bravery and sacrifice at Mount Weather. He'd gone in as their spy to take out the acid fog and without him, they never would have gotten within an inch of the base. He was just as important as the others even if he lacked an official leader title. He'd proved himself and that was good enough for her. Now was the day they were supposed to arrive though Lexa didn't know exactly when they'd be stepping foot into Polis. "Let me know when they arrive. I wish to talk to Bellamy first. He is the one I have not tet gotten to properly speak to." She spoke to her guard, giving him a simple look before her eyes diverted back to the open window. Having four people would be risky because there would be a risk of a tie should two agree and two disagree. But all four were important and needed for this to work. All four wanted what was best for their people and that was what she needed. Time passed quickly even though she was staring at virutally the same thing; the city of Polis beyond her window. Approaching footsteps alerted her to her guards presence and she turned to face him. "They have arrived." Lexa nodded, took in a deep breathe and began moving with her guards beside her. Making her way through the tower and then into the city itself was a change. Shadows became overtaken by the sunlight pouring down onto them and she allowed a few seconds to bask in the warm glow. "Welcome to Polis." She spoke in way of greeting, nodding to her guards who stood right back; enough to give her the illusion she was alone. "Before we begin as to why I summoned you here, I'd like to show you around the city. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask."

Lexa's eyes never wavered from the girl in front of her. Azgeda were a tricky lot and lead by a Queen as slippery as an eel, she could not afford to let her guard down. Even with someone as 'weak' as the girl before her. Though she looked weak, that didn't mean she actually was. Lexa had used the same rouse by pretending she was simply a weak girl from Trikru and not the actual Heda. Though now she couldn't exactly pretend she was anything other than who she was. The gear, the weapon, the cold look in her eyes. No amount of lying would get anyone to believe otherwise.
The girl spoke and Lexa couldn't help but wonder the authenticity of the words. It was rare for grounders to leave their clans, Azgeda especially but it happened. Usually for good reason although not an easy choice to make. Leaving the clan to become a loner was dangerous. If they got into trouble they had no clan to back them. They had to go to outposts for supplies rather than rely on those in their clan for such items. One of the reasons why many didn't choose that path. Lexa wasn't about to ask why the girl, who introduced herself as Mikha, left Azgeda. Though she could demand to know so she could better figure out if she was being lied to or not, Lexa also knew that it might have been something incredibly horrible for her to leave.
And as cruel as she could be, Lexa could also be kind in her own roundabout way.
"Mikha of Azgeda." Lexa spoke in Trigedasleng. "How can I be sure you're not sent to kill me? You claim to be a runaway and yet you stray onto my lands and watch me." Lexa had to be certain that this was not something to lull her into a false sense of security; and though she spoke with authority, her blade stayed by her side, making no move to slit the throat of the Ice Nation girl. One couldn't blame her for being overly cautious and it was better that she deal with this situation rather than her guards; they would do what was best for their Heda and that meant removing the potential threat. Not in death but haul her away to be taken prisoner. Lexa didn't want that which was why she was dealing with this herself.

((ooc// okay so I may end up contradicting myself later because of headcanons and stuff that'll hit. I also had an idea. Maybe Lexa and Tari have trained together before and interacted so they do know each other. They view each other as friends but they're not super duper close until now? For future reference because I'm dumb, Lexa is 12, Ontari is 10)) Though Lexa loved her Natblida siblings, sometimes it was hard for her to interact with them. A serious girl who could be excruciatingly awkward when it came to 'fun.' She didn't mean to be but after knowing she didn't exactly fit in with being 'fun' she had simply decided to stop trying. None of them made fun of her for it, her own embarrassment had done enough on that front. Still, she knew the names of her siblings, trained with them, ate with them. She was closer to the younger ones rather than those near her age(re; awkward). She tried her best, perhaps tried a little too much and so she wasn't exactly going to win friend of the year. Not to mention she was at that age where she was changing. Being twelve was not easy and not fun. To help combat her emotions, Lexa trained even when she didn't have too. Titus had been kind enough to leave out her sword so she could get in extra training and the others knew not to touch it. It was a gesture that she didn't expect from him because of his stance and she never thought he'd show compassion like that. After scarfing down a quick meal for lunch, Lexa had gone straight back to the training. Not with a sword but against her shadow. She'd finish up here and then get permission to head back to the forest to train with the sword. That should give everyone time to finish their meal. She'd been in Polis for many years now. Taken from her home as a mere child the moment they found out her blood was as dark as the night skies. She had been told it made her special, though at the time she never understood. All she knew was that she was taken from her family and brought to strangers. It had taken time before she really knew and understood the significance her her black blood. Did she resent it? Not really, not anymore. In the early stages she had because she had been frightened and alone. Now she knew that not everyone had this opportunity, this honor and she wasn't going to squander it all because she was selfish. Though she had ample places to fight her own shadow, Lexa did so in her room. The door was open so that she could exit if she needed more room and she didn't exactly care who saw her. They knew she was the serious type with a kind streak that she showed in gestures rather than words. From a smile to a nod, or even to a simply squeeze of the hand, Lexa was all about the gestures. Words meant nothing because they could be broken so easily as they were said but actions? They spoke much louder and far better than any word could. This didn't apply to everyone though and she knew that she had to listen and that gestures were not always appropriate. Pausing to take a breather, Lexa could only stare at the wall. This would go better with friends. iah

LEXA KOM TRIKRU Shooting her would be tempting; she could see it in his eyes and she didn't blame him one bit. After what she had done up in the mountain it was a surprise that many more didn't have their guns trained on her. Or spears aimed at her heart or throat, as the case may be for her people. They were just as unhappy as Skaikru, the decision to save her people had been overlooked for the fact she had betrayed Skaikru and sided with the enemy that had kidnapped them, tortured them, stole their blood.
Blood must have blood. And by taking the deal and walking away, she hadn't given her people what they cried out for. The decision had been an agonizing one, one she didn't want to make but did in order to save her people. And really, it call came down to the gun in his hand. She'd been offered a way to avoid bullets spraying into the bodies of those who looked to her to lead. She didn't have to explain to them and she sure as hell was not going to explain it to Bellamy. If she truly wanted them dead then she would have evacuated TonDC, had Mount Weather realize they had a spy much sooner then they did.
He could believe what he wanted. Her words were not going to sway him either way, "Despite what you may believe, I did what I did for my people. I did not exactly wish for you to die." It was a just a potential since she had left them to fight the battle alone. And that was as good as leaving them to die even if she didn't want them to actually get killed.
Right now he was a threat. Aiming a weapon at her put him in that category and she could kill him where he stood. If he wasn't holding a gun. She knew the odds in this situation and removing him as a threat would likely end up with her shot. Killing her wouldn't make things magically okay. They'd all done things they wished they never had to, or later regretted. Lexa had just as much, if not more blood on her hands than anyone else. One could blame Bellamy and Clarke for the deaths at Mount Weather but while they pulled the lever, it was Lexa's decisions that put them in that position.
She was just as responsible. But less likely to admit it.
A howl in the distance caused Lexa to look up and into the direction of the howl. There were other dangers like Pauan in these forests. "Did you come here on horse or by foot?" She doubted it was a horse because most of the horses were in grounder hands and not Skaikru; still they could have easily taken them from surrounding villages. Who knew? blood must have blood Bellamy Blake

Every day she trained with the intention of getting better, faster stronger. She trained in swords and spears, bows and daggers and she trained in the arts of languages, politics, leadership. Her teachers were Titus, the Flamekeeper, and her Heda. Both commanded respect and both demanded respect. If she wasn't training with Titus she was training with their Heda. Right now she trained with sword in hand against a brother Natblida for they all trained for the same thing; becoming Heda. It was not something everyone could become, only those with blood as dark as the night skies could because their blood accepted the Flames.
As she finished, packing away the weapons for next combat session, she had been pulled aside by Titus after he'd gotten word from Anya's guards. Told that she was going to be trained by one of the Trikru leaders and that meant leaving Polis. Lexa had been asked the question do you know what this means? and Lexa had answered without hesitation. "It's a great honor." The young Natblida had to put aside her feelings of not wanting to leave her brothers and sisters because she knew this really was an honor and she could not exactly say no. Not everyone had a leader come into Polis and choose them. This would further her training in ways that the others would not have.
In addition to learning what Anya had to teach, she would also be learning in real combat rather than simulation with the other Natblidas. In the field there would be no mercy. It would be real fighting, with real bleeding and possible death. Not that she planned on dying, oh no.
She got ready, cleaned up and made sure she was presentable enough not to look as though she spent the whole day training. It was Titus's idea and she had dare not argue. Instead she swallowed her feelings, pushed away the fear and strode forward with the guards flanking either side of her. One held up his hand to indicate she stay before he pushed open the doors to tell Anya that Lexa had arrived. Then the other guard nodded and Lexa padded her way in, her eyes immediately drawn to the other. Much like herself, Anya was Trikru which was one of the reasons why her request had been granted. Although Lexa might become Heda one day, she was still just a fledging and so she had to show her respect by lowering her head.
"Leader Anya. It is an honor."

LEXA KOM TRIKRU There was a reason for some of Skaikru to be in Polis today which was a rare sight indeed. In the olden days those from the Sky were killed, not welcomed. But she had invited a few, Abby Griffin and Marcus Kane to the capital in order to talk to them about something she had decided.
Lexa made the call. A treaty was not going to be enough to protect Skaikru but them joining as the thirteenth clan would. Having told Abby, Kane and Clarke about the change in her plans, she bade them release before the summit that night. They could go anywhere they liked, so long it remained within the boundaries of the city. Here they were safe and protected; beyond the walls they weren't. Come nightfall that was to change and anyone who killed Skaikru for the sake of it would be punished by death. It was that simple. They would become her people and she would never have to make such a wrenching choice like the one at Mount Weather ever again.
She stood overlooking the city from the height of her room at the top of the tower. Polis was bustling with people, her people, children and adults alike and she felt a surge of pride and protectiveness towards all those in her coalition. Especially Trikru and not especially Azgeda. She could care less for the Ice Nation, they were the biggest threat she faced within her alliance. Nia was as slippery as an eel and could not be trusted at all. And yet, and yet, Lexa had let her live. Let her and her clan remain in the coalition so long as they didn't stray. No-one could say the Heda shirked from her duties.
"You're still here." Lexa observed, having not heard Kane leave the room like Abby had done. It was just the pair of them, and Lexa wondered what else the man had to say. She'd come to respect him ever since she had him in her prison. They were so similar and yet vastly different. He understood her, especially when it came to her people and it was through him that she was even willing to give Skaikru two days before that extended into talks of peace if they handed Finn over. "Is there something you'd like to discuss?" Seemed to be the only logical reason for him to remain, not that he might have seen something in her room that would spark memories.
She turned to face him, her face neutral and not betraying any hint of emotion. Some would say she was closed off; she had learned to protect herself and play the game of politics. blood must have blood Marcus Kane

Costia ((ooc// omg, she is hurting so badly rn *sobs*)) LEXA KOM TRIKRU Life was going to be far more complex than she ever imagined. For starters, her relationship with Costia, while it was never screamed out in the streets of Polis it was still sort of known. To be Heda was to be alone and even knowing that, knowing that by even entertaining the idea of love that she was weak, she could not let Costia go. Maybe she should because her enemies would no doubt latch onto whatever they could but the thought was dimissed moments later. Lexa wanted to be selfish. She didn't want to be alone. She didn't want to lose Costia, the girl that had her heart.
The knock on the door pulled her from her thoughts as she spoke in their native language. "Enter." She could tell by the knuckles against the wood who it was; each of her guards had their own sounding knock and this one was Gustus. She turned to face the arrival, her eyes drinking in Costia's appearance. They were no longer equals; Lexa was now her commander, her leader. Not that she would ever abuse that in their relationship. Outside of it then yes, she was going to have to suck it up and be the leader because that was who she was now. But she would never, ever translate that into what she had with Costia.
"Costia." The name rolled off her tongue like it had a hundred times before. Her expression remained neutral, befitting of a leader rather than the soft expression she reserved just for Costia. As she spoke, she padded towards the other girl, the black night robe swirling around her legs, ignoring as it rubbed against some of her hidden wounds. What she needed most was assurance that she would still be looked at as Lexa and not the murderer of her brothers and sisters. She needed to hold onto her while she cried on the inside for those she had slain because she could never openly weep for them.
Nearing Costia, she went to wrap her arms around the other girl in a hug, wanting to draw her close and just pretend that only they existed and no-one else. "It's going to be different now. I am your Heda." She didn't know where that put her now, or what state their relationship would be in; did Costia even want to remain with her? Lexa would give her that option and if she wanted out then she would understand. It was not her decision to make as it could very well be seen as her using her power to force her to stay. "I love you Costia; that has not, and will not, change." Lexa sighed inwardly, her eyes moving to look through the large open window in the room.
"They're all celebrating their new Heda." By they she was referring to most of their people and she couldn't blame them. But this was not a celebration for her, not up here in her tower. Costia would be able to tell, Lexa didn't even have to utter a word and now that she was here she couldn't. Who knew the kind of people who would eavesdrop? blood must have blood

Clarke Griffin ((ooc// skipping battles ftw xD )) LEXA KOM TRIKRU Blood must have blood. There were no trials, the guilty were punished. "You know what justice for us is." Lexa responded, her voice low and without too much emotion. Clarke knew which meant trials and justice were Skaikru's realm, not her own. Was that what she was asking? For Skaikru to oversee the trials or was she asking Lexa to stay her hand of blood must have blood and instead trial the guilty herself? "So long as both get the justice deserved. We will talk more after the war is won." Lexa concluded; she would worry about that later, not right now.
Hopefully the words would appease Clarke and show she was willing to talk about it. And though she would be happy to stab them all through their hearts, Skaikru had also been attacked. They deserved justice and they deserved to give their own justice. She'd think more on this later. Right now they had a war to win and she would tell her people to keep some alive if they could help it though there would be no promises. The only ones she knew would be captured(to be freed later), would be the children. The only sure outcome in an otherwise unknown war. Well, for Mount Weather because Lexa knew the outcome for her people, and for Skaikru.
The squeeze of her hand was indeed interpreted as reassuring.
"For those that had no part in the torture, they are to be spared. For those that helped us, that helped Skaikru, protect them for this wouldn't be possible without them! If you can capture guards and soldiers alive then do so. They will be served justice but not just by our hand. Let's finish this!" Lexa spoke in Trigedasleng, receiving shouts and cheers and war cries in return. She moved with Clarke before the other woman moved to stand slightly behind her. Lexa had already pulled her swords free, ready to use them on the enemy without mercy.
Mount Weather was a warzone. The fighting began when Mount Weather finally realized that they were not safe and by then it was too late. The element of surprise meant they had less time to get their guns. She kicked one of them against the wall near the T-junction before turning to Clarke. "I'll distract them while you go find your people. I'll see you when this is all over." She nodded, twirling her swords before the war cry tore from her throat. blood must have blood
