Raven is definitely down for things happening. Especially if words describing actions and settings are involved. Did you have anything specific in mind?

Raven wiped a hand over her face in exhaustion. Two months it had been. Two months back on the ark she’d fought so hard to escape from. God, it almost felt like a lifetime ago. The pain of those memories of why she’d plummeted to the ground were more of a dull ache now. And yet these were some of the most tiring couple months of her life and that was saying something. Between the seven of them, everyone had to pull their weight around just to keep them surviving. Not an easy task, but they were dealing with it. Everyone was still breathing and hell she’d count that as a win.
Opening her eyes she looked up at the sound of the knock. Sighing she stood up, stretching slightly to loosen up her muscles. Glad that she hadn’t yet removed her brace as she slowly opened the door only to find Bellamy on the other side. With a smile that gave way to a short chuckle she stepped aside to let him in. “You read my mind,” she still had a smile on her face as she spoke, taking a step backwards as he walked in. There was no doubt in her mind that there was no way she’d have survived up here without Bellamy calmly leading them. Sure, she was fine with the technical stuff, but Raven was smart enough to know that living with the same 6 other people required a level headed leader. And that’s exactly what Bellamy was. They were a team up here and so far that was enough. “Two months down, fifty….eight to go,” she said with a teasing smirk as she quickly did the math. “I’m sure it’ll fly by,” she added sarcastically sitting on the edge of her bed and leaving room for Bellamy beside her.

Raven watched silently as he pulled up beside her. The satisfied grin plastered on her face showing no signs being replaced any time soon. The sheer exhilaration the win gave her was…delicious and dangerous. The feeling unlike anything she’d ever experienced. While Raven didn’t make a habit of dabbling in legally ambiguous hobbies, if she weren’t a mechanic, this would be all she’d do forever. Maybe it was just the high she was on talking. The win stirring all these thoughts and feelings within her. Nothing was perfect, and she was sure this world had more than its fair share of…"disadvantages". Not something she was keen on exploring. Which was a shame. Because as it turned out, drag racing really turned her on.
Playing dirty. Well, she couldn’t deny it. John had proved himself to be quite the adversary, and Raven was determined to beat him, by any means necessary. The booster had initially been a safety net, to be used only in extraordinary circumstances. Who knew John Murphy would prove to be that extraordinary circumstance. Perhaps he wasn’t the only one to underestimate their opponent. A fact Raven wasn’t willing to admit aloud. She scoffed at his remark about being friends. Dropping the whole fangirl tease act now. She’d won, so there was no need for it any more. “Oh please. As if I could be friends with a guy like you.” Stepping up to him, nose to nose in her heels, so close she could see his chest rise with every breath. “Thief,” she said enunciating it, and with that word finally revealing what she was sure by now he strongly suspected. Ready for this confrontation now that she’d proved herself. She stood, her face no longer hiding the obvious contempt she held for him, waiting patiently to see what he had to say for himself.

She could see the beginnings of concern on his features. That probably wasn’t a good sign. But at least there wasn’t fear. Raven couldn’t understand what she was doing wrong, why he wasn’t jumping at the chance to join her in the city of light. How could anyone refuse this? Well, there was no need to be hasty, he hadn’t said no just yet. “Strange?” She repeated, laughing at his question, and brushing off his concern. “Not today.” She added with a wink, before focusing once more on her objective. Jokes were just distractions, she needed to get her head back in the game.
“I’m serious though,” she continued, back to her task. “You’ve been through a lot I’m sure.” If he’d survived this long, then there was no question about it. “I know it sounds too good to be true, believe me I thought that at first,” Before A.L.I.E. felt like a lifetime away now. “But it’s real, in the City of Light you can let go of pain and anger.” Emotions she no longer registered. “Don’t you think you deserve that?” They all did. A life without pain was no longer a far off dream. And Raven was happier for it. Her whole life changed, and all she wanted was to introduce Bryan to the same feeling of bliss. Then hopefully Miller and the other guards would follow. It was the perfect plan, as long as Bryan stuck to the script…

"Oh my god," A sentiment she shared. “You can call me Raven,” she replied, laughing out loud at her own bad joke, the movement vibrating through both their bodies with the close proximity. Raven basked in the afterglow, the euphoria, and feeling just…whole. She wished it wasn’t temporary. As amazing and earth shattering as the orgasm was, this moment was always her favourite part. A fact she’d never admitted. The few seconds before her mind could start overthinking, before reality inevitably crashed down and reminded her of who she really was. And all the ways she didn’t deserve this happiness.
But until then, she just held him, attempting to steady her breathing. The soft pads of her fingers tenderly smoothed over the deep scratches she’d left in his back, keeping him in place for just a little while longer. Turning her face, she used one hand in his hair to turn his, smiling for a moment at the perfectly imperfect sweaty mess before her, knowing she looked just as worn out before placing a gentle kiss on his lips. Raven desperately didn’t want this to end. Maybe it didn’t have to…
And then just like that, as if on cue, she slowly began untangling her good leg from around his waist, prompting him to pull out of her, the moment over. Who was she kidding? As soon as he did, she was hit with the feeling of emptiness. Every bit of space she put between them felt almost painful after the closeness and intimacy they’d just experienced. But it had to be done. She’d known for a while now that letting people in, caring, only led to pain. How could she have been so stupid? She’d just potentially ruined one of the only good relationships in her life. In silence she found each item of clothing, dressing herself bit by bit, unable to look him in the eye as she did. The last thing she found was her hair tie. As if it signified the end of…whatever this was, Raven quickly tied her hair into her signature pony tail. “This…was a mistake.” It could never happen again, it was a moment of weakness, where she let her emotions get the better of her, rather than think with her brain. “Lets just pretend this never happened okay?” She asked, holding her hand out awkwardly, like a brisk handshake was in the same universe as appropriate after what they just did. But it was for the best.

How could this happen again? It was like the universe was playing some sick joke at her expense. Another execution of a man she cared about with her standing idly by powerless to stop it. Finn’s death tore her apart and now Bellamy’s was truly the final nail in the coffin. There was no hope for them now, no hope for survival. Because at this point Raven believed whole heartedly that they didn’t deserve to. At least with Finn, she had someone to blame, someone to direct her anger at. The grounders. Her rage and desire for revenge pushed her forward, kept her upright and living.
But this time…it wasn’t grounders. It was their own people. Her people. They all played a part in allowing this to happen. Standing idly by as he was executed in his own home. Hell she might as well have held the gun and pulled the trigger herself. The graphic thought sickened her, especially with the image so fresh in her mind. Raven pulled herself from her thoughts and focused on Jasper. Nodding briskly at his suggestion of cleaning her up, she looked down at her nails as if only just now realising what she’d done to herself. “I don’t…I don’t know how…to,” she swallowed the lump in her throat, unsure of what she was trying to say, letting out a short scream instead. Though this was more out of anger than anguish, fuelled by pure undirected rage. Standing up suddenly, Ravens fingers leaned against a nearby makeshift table, the closest thing to her before flipping it over with another hate filled scream.
“I let this happen,” she finally said after a long pause, her voice filled with anguish before sitting back down. She didn’t deserve Jasper’s kindness. “You should have left me out there.” Tortured by the sight of Bellamy’s body and brains splattered across the ground.

It was kindness in his eyes, not disgust or anger as she would have expected. Raven could hardly believe he could even stand looking at her after all the terrible things that she’d said. Yes, it had been A.L.I.E’s words, but they came from Raven’s lips, using Raven’s memories against them. The bitch. She wished she could believe him, find comfort in his words. But all she could fit in her head right now was anger and fear. Because she knew what A.L.I.E. was capable of. The manipulation, the pain, the…temptation she offered. She was quite possibly the biggest threat they’d ever faced, and Raven had given herself up freely because she was too weak to accept and deal with her own pain. A fact she couldn’t yet quite forgive herself for.
She offered some semblance of smile as Bellamy placed his jacket behind her head, too tired to argue against his gesture of kindness as she normally would. “Talk about what?” she half laughed. Neither of them were great at the whole casual small talk thing. “How we’re probably screwed? With the world being taken over by an egotistical psychotic bitch?” An A.I. no less. “Who knew this is what would get us in the end?” After surviving a nuclear war, hurtling to a radioactive planet in a tin can, the grounders and that goddamn mountain… “A computer program with a god complex…in killer heels,” she continued. “It’s like the start of crappy joke.” It would be funny if it wasn’t so horrifying.

“You don’t need moonshine when you’ve got me,” she said with a smile. Though she didn’t mean it to sound cocky Raven couldn’t help it, her tone of voice always seemed to lean towards arrogance. “How about I…try something?” She hesitated as an idea struck her. A possibly terrible idea that she would later regret but...well she had to try. If not now, then when? “Close your eyes Jasper,” she asked before shuffling up so they were at eye level. With her hand still on his cheek, Raven pressed her forehead lightly against his own, hesitating again for a moment before she finally closed her own eyes and started to hum.
It was the melody of a lullaby her mother used to sing to her. The words lost through time and buried under the memories of neglect and anguish so that all Raven was left with was the tune. It was all she had to remind her of her actual mother’s love. A tune she’d never dared sing aloud because it...hurt too much. But she could at least remember that it always used to work for her when she was little. Slowly a tear fell on to her cheek, as the full weight of what almost happened tonight started to hit her, paired with the pain of hearing the old lullaby. But Jasper was worth that pain and more. The pain was a welcome reminder that A.L.I.E could never again take her memories from her….take this memory from her. A crack in her voice forced her to finally stop. She didn’t want to alert Jasper to the emotional turmoil she’d put herself in, though it was too late now. So instead, in the silence, Raven softly kissed his forehead, her lips lingering for a moment, reassuring him through the intimacy of the contact. Something Raven wasn’t usually great with. But she’d make an exception for Jasper, she thought, blinking the remaining tears from her eyes. After all, these were exceptional circumstances.

Raven waited with bated breath just lifting her hips in anticipation. She wanted him, she realised, surprising herself. Not by the fact that she did, but by how much. She wanted him with the sort of want that left her blood running hotter every time he looked at her like that, and her body aflame with every bit of skin he touched. Before he finally…finally entered her. With a hand she clung to his back, her fingers trailing along his skin. She’d quickly learned that Bellamy was a man who loved to touch and to be touched, like he’d been starved of it. Though it wasn’t her place to really delve into that, no matter her curiosity. She was here under no false pretences. For his body, nothing more. With that thought she met his lips, her mouth warm and soft and yielding as his tongue tangled with her own. She let him take the lead, for now.
When he finally rocked hard into her, she let out an almost obscene groan. The movement so slow, so intense, keeping her on the cusp of pleasure, but nowhere near close enough for her to truly come undone. With each thrust, he pushed a little deeper, hitting that little bundle of pleasure inside her, leaving her breathless. Slowly, Raven lifted her legs around his waist urging him forward and changing the angle. Turns out she wasn’t quite as patient as she’d anticipated, a surprise to absolutely no one. “Ah….I take it back,” she managed to say, between heavy breaths. “I need…more,” she continued. The pace was frustrating her to no end, each thrust deliciously, infuriatingly drawn out, wringing the pleasure out of her body. It was going to drive her insane. “Bellamy,” she moaned, guttural and needy, the only word she could manage at this point before pulling him down into an almost filthy kiss, asserting her own dominance now. Her hand continued to trail down to his backside, harshly squeezing the flesh in an effort to pick up the pace, for her goddamn sanity.

Raven knew Harper wouldn’t blame her, her heart was too good and too forgiving for that. But hearing her say those words still brought her relief. Though they hardly did anything to stop Raven from blaming herself. Just another thing to add to the list. Guilt wasn’t exactly an unfamiliar feeling for Raven, and it was something she carried around with her anyway. “There was nothing you could’ve done.” Holding her face, Raven forced the younger girl to look at her, to see the sincerity in her expression. Blame wasn’t even in the same stratosphere of what she felt for Harper right now. “Now, we could sit here and have a pity party all day, or…” she began a devious look in her eyes, choosing to change the subject. There was no use dwelling on things they couldn’t change. Something Raven was still struggling with, she thought, as her mind wandered back to her crippled leg.
“What was that Abby? I’m clear to be discharged?” She yelled to no one in particular, with Abby not even in the same room as them. “Well it’s about damn time if you ask me.” She added, moving to pull the covers off her. Someone more deserving probably needed this bed a whole lot more than her. “What do you say? Wanna get outta here?” A smirk on her face and squeeze of Harper’s hand would hopefully convince her. Because Raven wasn’t leaving here without Harper, not wanting to let the girl out of her sight again, and she wasn’t even sure if she’d really even be able to.

Leaning into his touch, Raven forced herself to look into his eyes again. Allbeit afraid of showing her own vulnerability and fear through her own. All she could think of to say to him was ‘you should be scared,’ but instead she chose to find strength in his determination. Even in his stubbornness as she offered a small smile at his teasing words. It was moments like this that would make Raven realise just how far they’d come in such a short amount of time. From wanting to kill him to desperately wanting to keep him safe and alive. Not an easy task on the ground.
“You have nothing to be sorry for. You saved me, and I’m not going to sit here and watch you take the blame for everything, Blake.” She added, teasing him, and joining him in his attempt to lighten the mood. Though her hiss as she spoke his name didn’t really help. “I swear you’ll say the nuclear war was your fault next.” He had a knack for carrying the weight of the whole world on his shoulders. For taking responsibility for everything that happened to them. It wasn’t healthy, especially since the self-sacrificing idiot was the whole reason they’d survived this long. “I just…we…just need to get out of here. They’re savages, who knows what they’ll blame us for next.” They liked to blame them almost as much as Bellamy blamed himself. That commander, Raven couldn’t even bring herself to say her name, was just looking for an excuse to wipe them out. All the grounders were. And today for the first time for Raven, only proved just how powerless they would be should she choose to.

“Oh really, what have you heard?” she asked, unable to resist the urge to. The boy seemed a little more at ease, though the tension in his posture was still there. It seemed her little change the subject tactic actually worked. Who knew? Maybe she wasn’t so terrible with kids after all. Still. It was probably a bit too early to make that assumption. “Hunter, huh.” She repeated, her expression thoughtful. “Cool name.” She consciously chose not to ask about his parents like a more responsible adult would, because round here most people didn’t have any. And she’d only just got the kid to stop looking terrified, Raven wasn’t about to open any possible wounds by mentioning his possibly deceased parents. A selfish decision? Maybe. But she had no problem admitting to being selfish sometimes.
“You know how to strip wires kid?” she asked innocently. Starting with basics. There was a lot about Hunter that Raven didn’t know, but she could at least see that he’d been through a lot. Hell everyone who’d survived this long had been through a lot. So maybe he could use a distraction as much as Raven could. And hey, if Raven got some free labour out of it, that’d be a bonus. She’d never been one to ask for help with anything. But Hunter looked like he needed it. Raven was perhaps the wrong person for the job…or definitely the wrong person for the job, but she refused to kick him out. Maybe a while ago she would have. But now with Sinclair gone…well. He’d never kicked her out…

Raven pushed the hair out of her face, quickly pulling it into a haphazard ponytail. Her heart beat hard in her chest, beads of sweat appearing on her forehead. She was nervous and scared but she had to do this. Her stomach grumbled again as if reminding her of her state of hunger. Usually she would wait for her mother to remember she existed but it had been too long. She hadn’t seen her mom in two days and her rations had disappeared along with her as usual. Raven shuddered at the thought of where her mother could be right now. Or what she could be doing. Besides, she could no longer just sit and wait and starve to death. Raven needed to take care of herself, she was old enough now right? Almost ten, so perfectly capable of living independently.
Poking her head around the junction of the hallway, she spotted the tray on a table in the hall. The owner of said tray had stood up and was distracted by someone he recognised. Now was her chance. It was a short window for her to grab the food and run, so she had to do it now. Swallowing hard, Raven willed her legs to move slowly and quietly. Her mouth already watering at the sight of the food, providing her with the incentive to go through with this. She didn’t want to steal but she had to. Her hand was so close, all she had to do was grab the food and run, until something else caught her eye. Or rather someone else. A tray had clattered to the ground, but that wasn’t what kept her attention. It was the boy’s subtle snatch of the key card from the guard. She should really just swipe the rations in front of her and leave, but something about the kid intrigued her. With a sly smile on her lips, Raven followed him, choosing to change her path, and ignoring the small voice in her head telling her this was a bad idea. She never listened to that voice before, why start now. Careful to stay out of sight, she continued to follow as he entered a storage room. Content in just observing him for now.
She was small enough to enter undetected behind him, hiding behind heaps of boxes filled with rations. Her curiosity got the better of her as she couldn’t help but pull a small can out of one of the boxes. It might not have looked like much, but her stomach grumbled at the sight of it. The disturbance however, caused the top of the pile to tumble down, clattering to the ground in a racket. She yelped stepping out from underneath the mess, just in time to doge most of the falling cans. “Oops,” she finally said turning to the boy. “My bad.” Hell of a first impression to make. Nice one Raven. “I’ll…I’ll clean that up.”

Oh shit. The fear in the boy’s voice only proved to make her feel even guiltier. Perhaps she’d picked a poor choice of wording now that she thought about it. They did live in a society where until recently every crime was met with death after all. Seeing the tears in his eyes wiped any sort of smile off her face. Great, Raven could cross that off the list of things she’d planned to do today. Work on the engines; finish the plans for expansion and ah yes, make a child cry. This was why she’d made an effort to stay away from kids. She always managed to say the wrong thing. This case being a prime example.
“Wait, it’s okay,” she said quickly, awkwardly laying a hand on the kids shoulder as some form of comfort. Something she’d never been very good at it. Another reason Raven wasn’t great with kids. “I’m not going to tell anyone I just meant…” she deliberated in her head whether she should continue with her plan or just let the kid go. He was traumatised enough as it is, keeping him would only give her more opportunities to screw up…further. Which she really didn’t need. That being said though… “I just meant you owe me a favour now.” Raven withdrew her hand and continued, "Didn't mean to scare you kid," She was hoping to somehow put him at ease. “Let’s start over.” Holding her hand out, Raven introduced herself. “Hi, I’m Raven, the best mechanic around,” she added with a chuckle, easing the tension. “Your turn.” It was probably about time she learned the name of the kid she’d almost brought to tears in the span of five minutes. New record, she thought wryly.
