Her husband carried her to the bed, and lightly tossed her back on it, while Braeden bounced slightly. She grinned up at him, as he climbed over her, and explained that it wasn't either, but one he had started. Well, well, she could make her own ones too then! She laughed at his words, until he joined her and kissed her into silence. She was going to show him her own new family traditions as well.
She bit his lip in the kiss, and then used her tongue to suck on it and sooth where she'd teased it. Pushing him to his back, she pulled her dress up enough to allow her to sit astride him, and look down at her husband. "I should tell you some of the Braeden Quinn Kane ones then, too?" She asked, moving to lean down over him and kiss him once more, "to be fair?"
But first she needed him naked! Moving her hands to his clothing she begin pulling it off as best as she could with him laying on his back. It was like opening a gift, but this one was something she already knew and loved what was inside. "One of which might prevent you from wearing clothes in the house." She teased, "So I can have you whenever i want!"

She heard her husband walk back in, and she fought the urge to smile, but the game was more fun then smiling would be so she managed to stay still, pretending she was sleeping. "Just cause you're asleep doesn't mean it's gonna stop me," He teased her, when he had joined her in bed, and was now picking up where they left off by kissing her neck and trailing his fingers down, and down, and . . . yes! He knew right were to touch her!
"You can just lie there the whole time," He teased, and she finally grinned, unable to keep still under his touch. "Lie here and be worshiped? I could do that!" Her hands moved to touch him, and her legs opened as he moved over her, allowing him to settle between them. Her hands trailed over his arms, and down to his back, to squeeze his buttocks.
Braeden took a lot of pleasure in her husband's body, and even more from knowing that he was about to use it to please her right now! Lifting her toned legs, she wrapped them around his firm hips, "But why just lie here, when I can do some of my own worshiping?" She reached down to take him into her hand, and stroke his thickness a few times--helping him get 're-awoken' since going to their son, and then moved the head to help direct him into thrusting in her.

Anything she needed to know? Yeah! How the hell she was supposed to keep something that small alive until he could get out! She didn't know anything about kids, and there was a very clear reason why she wasn't a mother now--she didn't want them! She wanted to work on her career and not have to take care of something that small and would need her that much!
"No, just go to bed may, damn it!" She snapped at him, but it was clear her tone was more concerned the angry. "I got this! I'll make it work!" She side stepped him, pulling her door shut, and waited for him to start walking before she did. "Look I get that parents always worry, but I'm not going to screw this up." She promised, "So don't worry about her. I will get my mother to help, too, so just go get better, and rest." The rest was for Braeden to deal with, and she didn't fail at things! She made sure that whatever she did, she did it with the best of her ability. "I'll tell her you said hi." She tossed back to him, making sure he was going to med bay, before she went to find Aeliana.

Breaden opened her eyes slowly and sucked in a deep breath. She felt slightly out of breath, as if there had not been O2 in here long, and she was still trying to catch it. Everything hurt. Her lungs burned, and her head pounded but she forced her eyes took around. The lights were on but dim, and there was a burned smell to things around her. What was burning? Her training kicked in and she turned her head, trying to seek out a sign that something was wrong but she couldn't find anything.
She was aware of every muscle in her body, as they protested her attempt to roll over, and groaned as she forced herself to sit up on hr knees. The smell was old. She could tell now that her brain was able to think thru the fog. "Hello?" She called out, trying to see if there was anyone near here. What had been happening? Things were fuzzy. She was on patrol, and something was wrong. They had called everyone to report in for double time shifts since the U-Day bomb, and she had been looking for information.
Then nothing. She didn't know what happened. She looked down the hall and noticed there was parts of the ark blocking her. Looking the other way she noticed that it was blocked as well and--"Jax?!" She yelled when she noticed his body there not far from it. She pushed up to stand, and stumbled her first few steps before she was able to move toward him. Dropping to her knees beside him she noticed he was breathing, and seemed to be moving slowly. Waking up from whatever had not only knocked them both out, but left them stranded here. She could see a doorway, but she knew it was only to an office. "Jax!?" She said his name loud, trying to help bring him out of things. They needed to find a way out of here.

He stooped playing, turning to look up at her before rising to his full height. Braeden was a lot shorter then him, but she never let her lack of height let people one up her. It had been something she enjoyed when they were kids, and then even more so a week ago in the lift. Thinking about that made her breathing slow, and she had to force herself not to give herself away. "Sure, what's up?" Right, her turn to speak. Her eyes moved from his biceps to his face, where she made them stay.
"It's about last week. I wanted to . . . . clear the air." Braeden never doubted in her self but she hated how awkward things were. "I figured it was more curiosity . . . or yeah. We just wondered how things had changed, and then were locked up and already keyed from from training." That was not what it had been for her. For her she ahd been enjoying the feel of his hand, and the way he smelled, and--AND it had gone to her head. She hadn't been thinking about their past. Only him, and then, and now--no! Not now! "And no matter how--" Hot, exciting, intense, orgasmic, perfect--"No matter how it was, we both know that it can't happen again. I just don't want things to be awkward between us." Because he was her best friend, and she loved him like one. She didn't want to loose him over this.

Braeden Quinn had tactfully avoided her boss for a week now, and because she could not avoid him all the time she had made sure they were not alone during any of that time. Because a week ago, they had gotten locked int he lift and before she knew what was happening they were attacking each other, and pulling clothes off, and . . . . . .
Braeden forced her mind to NOT think about it. She knew she needed to get over the awkwardness between them, and for that it meant she had to talk to him. She just hadn't expected it to happen so soon. The music had led her and her father here, and when they saw the back of Bellamy, Braeden told her father she was going to report in. He kissed her forehead good night and left. Not wanting to be disturbed and someone over head, Braeden pulled the door shut behind her and locked it.
Braeden just stood there a moment and watched him. Bellamy had been such a big part of her past, and even now he was a big part of her present. It was hard to keep her emotions out of this, and she liked her hook ups emotion free. Bellamy wasn't emotion free. Squaring her shoulders she walked up and came to stand beside the bench while facing him. "Can we talk?" She asked, not really planning to give him a choice.

Braeden liked watching him train, and take command. They had spend so long keeping their heads down that it was almost odd to come here now and not worry about who was keeping their daughter hidden. To know that both kids were safe, and spending time with their grandparents. It left her time to spend with her husband, in ways they had not spent together since the birth of their daughter--social time. Time where they were both out in public together. Bellamy finished and went to pull on his shirt once they were alone. "Stayed behind for some one on one training?" He teased, and Braeden felt her self smile.
While she had healed enough to walk around and life a simi-normal life; she wasn't healed enough to train without hurting herself. Soon maybe, but she knew it would take more time. "Everyone should think they are getting trained by the best, so I thought it would be unfair if I beat you in front of them." She teased back, knowing she had not been a guard for a few years now and was out of shape. Here however, she was going to be ready. Training would start soon. She was not going to helpless. She would protect her children. The truce might be working, but she wasn't foolish enough to think that there wasn't going to be other threats.
As he got closer her eyes took in his body, loving how he looked. Loving his hair that seemed to grow curlier the more he sweat. She was still aware of how much she had missed him while they'd been apart, and had taken up trying to make up for lost time in playful quickies in the middle of the day. She was thinking of it now. "Do you need to report to your father, or do you have time for another round?" She asked, making it seem like she was asking to train for the first time in forever; though she knew he might understand her meaning.

Bellamy kissed her, and that was the only reason she lost her smile. Because her lips were very busy with his own for a while! He rested his forehead against her's and she slowly pulled in a few deep breaths so she could catch her's."So now that we've covered this area--" He teased, and she felt her lips once again pulling into a smile. "What say we find a new surface?" Ah! That sounded wonderful! She wanted to take her time this round, so she was going to suggest his bed! That could be fun! Rolling around in it, and trying to playfully fight for whom was on top when in truth doubted either of them really cared!
"I think you did pretty damn good leaving your mark here," She groaned, and reached up to cover his face--rather then her own--out of embarrassment. Clearly he wasn't about to let that go, and she wasn't really embarrassed about it, so Braeden was going to have to get even--which meant she was going to make him make his own mess. Removing her hand, she looked into his face. "Maybe you can sit on the couch with me? We should at least pretend to watch the game!" She teased, knowing exactly what she wanted to doo to him once she was there!

"A war happened," Be explained, "We tried to fight them off as best we could. A bunch of the delinquents used the Dropship for shelter before setting off an explosion that killed hundreds of the Grounders." Hundreds?! Braeden tried to take in the numbers that he was talking about. She could aimgine that many people with ease, but that many soldiers going after kids? She knew they might not have survived had he not come down here. It made her want to hold her daughter even more. "Out of those who were outside the dropship, I only met up with Finn," She looked over at him and knew who he was. He'd taken a walk in space and taken a month away from the Ark. "Monroe, and Sterling," The other two she had not known.
He asked about the landing, then. "How many survived the landing?" That was hard to answer for it involved more then just the filling in. "Not sure yet. The Ark broke apart upon entry, and we haven't made contact with the other stations yet. Nor done a head count for ours." But she knew the numbers would be much smaller then he anticipated. "Most of the population died when the Ark lost power." She explained, trying not to think about it, and only say the words, since she had lost her parents in it as well. "A team of rebels hijacked the Exodus ship, and disengaged before disconnecting from the Ark. We were without full power for two days." Which is why most either had no air, or heat, and it killed them. This wasn't the time to morn the fallen. This was a time to make sure the ones who were alive, stayed alive! They could afford no more lives lost--and the life she was working on right now was her daughters.

Braeden was a woman in a mission. She has spent most of her life trying to live up to her father's reputation, and only recently had she been seeing proof that the Ark took her as more then her father. She was determined, driven, and focused--which was why she was going to be the commander of the guard on the ground--the first guard on the ground in 100 years. She would be on the council, and in the highest position that someone like her could become. As long as nothing broke her focused then it would be her name int he history books--not her father's. "Is it ok if we keep going? I feel like I'm on a roll." Nicolette, one of the guards that she was training with to go down to the ground asked.
There was nothing alive on the ground to fear, everything had died out when the bombs dropped, but when you took 100 people down you needed the guard to be there to handle anything they might through out at you. With there ONLY being 100 people on the ground, you needed every single life--which was why learning to take down with out a weapon was important. "Yeah," She said taking a deep breath, "We're good." Soon she would stop for water and food, because she knew after training all day that if she didn't eat something she'd be cranky tonight.

Braeden was on edge. Everything felt louder, and closer to her then before. Not because of any drug or nut, but because of fear. Because her daughter was locked in a mountain that no one could breach and they were draining people of their blood! She was angry, and afraid, and helpless. She had never felt helpless like this before. It had been so long since she'd seen her daughter's face. Heard her voice! Even longer since she had been able to hold her in her arms and make sure she was safe! She wasn't used to helpless, and she hated not being able to do something!
A touch on her arm had her turning to look behind her. Bellamy. He wanted to talk to her. Braeden followed him until they were alone, and she stood facing her, her arms folded over her chest. To anyone else she would look angry, and distant, but she knew he knew her well. She was trying to remain focused and strong to get her daughter back. "Have they decided on a plan yet?" She asked him, knowing that the Griffin girl, and the grounder leader had been trying to work out an plan of attack. Had they'd done it yet?

"Whoever needs to go back to the camp, go. Those of you who want to come to the dropship, follow me." Bellamy ordered, and Braeden had to suppress a smile--one of the first she had of late--when she noticed how many seemed to follow his orders rather then Shumways. They were just ready to follow him. Falling into step beside him, Braeden moved her gun to the front of her, and at ready. "They use the trees. Keep on high alert from all directions," Her eyes moved up them, and she wondered what sort of men they were.
'By the time they climb down we will have noticed them.' Shumway commented. 'If you wouldn't have pissed them off, we could have come down here in peace.' The group of men that were going with them to the dropship was a mix of the few who would follow Bellamy, and the few who would follow Shumway. She didn't want this to be a fight. "If you'd read the report you'd know they'd tired to kill one of the kids on the first day here." She said, trying to keep them moving. However, it did bring up a question. She looked at her husband. "Last communication we had with you, things were tense, but this looked more then tense. What happened?" She knew he would have tried to make peace, and this wasn't his doing, but she wanted to know how it escalated.

Braeden was sore and hurting, but sleep was hard on her. She felt every time she closed her eyes that one of her children might be gone again. She had almost lost her daughter but Bellamy had gotten her back--which was only one of the billion reasons she loved him more then she did before this--before they did this. He had did everything he had done for his children. His love for them, made her love for him stronger.
They were playing, and bickering slightly as children do. She was resting on the bed in the room they had in the Ark. They had no pain medicine, and the drill places hurt her. She was healing, but not fast enough. Looking up as Bellamy walked in she smiled softly. He had so many responsibilities now. She was so proud of everything he had done, and the man he had become. So many people owed their lives directly to him. Though she didn't often bring it up. The weight of what he had done was heavy. "Hey, hottie." She teased him, and she wished she sounded more awake, and strong. "Come to play doctor?" The kids wouldn't get the joke, but she knew he would.

She was so little! What would happen if the Earth was too much for her? Braeden pulled on her daughter's coat, and then turned her so she could zip it up. "You look so grown up!" She told her, framing her cheeks, and brushing back the thick curly hair that she had gotten from her father. Braeden knew she had a few tears on her cheeks, and Arria blinked at her mother. 'Mommy?' She asked, and Braeden loved her hands to wipe her face. "I am just so proud of how big you've gotten!" She lied, "And about your adventure with Daddy! I wish I could go with you!" But she knew that it would be dangerous enough for Bellamy to slip on, but impossible for her to do it as well.
Bellamy had told her the plan just last night. It had given her little time to prepare. However she did the best she could. She got Amaren's old coat, and as much clothing as she could. Some better shoes for her daughter as well. In the backpack she had some food in it, and a gun--with a few extra clips. It was all she could give her daughter, who would climb into the backpack, and Bellamy would carry her to Earth in--hidden away. "You be good for Daddy, ok?" She told her, pulling her in for another hug. "You stay close to him! Don't wonder off! I love you so much! Mommy loves you so, so much!" Braeden wondered if she could do it. She didn't think she could let her daughter go.

Braeden Quinn Kane sat on her couch, and could not help but to smile. Her son was turning in circles--just because he could. He did it over and over and over. Turned until he could no longer turn, and fell down laughing. This alone would have been amusing, but his baby sister was trying to do it as well, and she could barley stand as it was. He would laugh at her, and she would laugh at them both--and Braeden laughed right along with them! Children! She might not understand their need to make themselves dizzy but she loved watching their effort.
"Alright," She told them, "Stop before you make yourself sick." Pushing off the couch she scooped up her daughter, and moved her to sit on the couch. She needed her calming down--and with any luck napping--with in the next half hour. Because that was when they were having a surprise inspection. Which was dangerous because Arria was illegal. Which meant she would need be hidden before they came. If they were caught, her and Bellamy would be floated, and once her daughter was 18, she would be floated too.
