Braeden Quinn Kane sat on her couch, and could not help but to smile. Her son was turning in circles--just because he could. He did it over and over and over. Turned until he could no longer turn, and fell down laughing. This alone would have been amusing, but his baby sister was trying to do it as well, and she could barley stand as it was. He would laugh at her, and she would laugh at them both--and Braeden laughed right along with them! Children! She might not understand their need to make themselves dizzy but she loved watching their effort.
"Alright," She told them, "Stop before you make yourself sick." Pushing off the couch she scooped up her daughter, and moved her to sit on the couch. She needed her calming down--and with any luck napping--with in the next half hour. Because that was when they were having a surprise inspection. Which was dangerous because Arria was illegal. Which meant she would need be hidden before they came. If they were caught, her and Bellamy would be floated, and once her daughter was 18, she would be floated too.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy was in a rush. A panic was more like it. Due to his current position, he was privy to confidential information such as when surprise inspections took place. Of course no one expected the son of the Vice Chancellor to be doing anything suspicious. Little did they know the true circumstances of his household -- and he damn well planned to keep it that way! Having a second child was worth it though. The moment they had held her for the first time in their arms, had been wonderful. More so, because they never thought they would have such an opportunity. Having a child was it. One and only. Yet parting with their daughter now, could never be an option. It was difficult . . . no, it was impossible to now imagine a life without her.
All they could do was take it day by day, and eventually figure out a plan for her. But until then . . . they would do everything within their power to protect her. Which was why he was in such a rush to get home now. He quickly punched in the code and entered, ensuring to do so with composure because any panic would only concern the children, and his wife. "It's time," he told them. Amaren was used to the drill, so he was well aware as to what this meant. While their son took Arria's hand to lead her in the secret compartment of the closet,
Bellamy started to pick up the toys that looked like they could be hers and anything that showed they had two children rather than just one. "They switched the time unexpectadly," Bellamy explained to Braeden. "We have two minutes." But it was alright. They had dealt with such things before and yet . . . every time they did, Bellamy couldn't help but feel a wave of anxiety and nervousness consume him. The risk of discovery was great, and the consequences were one that he would not be able to survive . . . for it would entail the loss of not only his daughter, but also his wife.
