"Your priority has to be your own life, you cannot fret about somebody who is more mutant than human" Seren told him, "Like I said, they are no longer people, they are monsters" she watched the man as he crouched beside a plant. "I would like to believe that if I ever discovered that Sae had been turned into one of those monsters, I could find the strength to put her out of her misery" she trailed off at the thought, she'd rather her girlfriend be dead than become a reaper. Although the monsters appeared to be primarily male, you could never be sure which friend would be the next to join their ranks.
"I do not know of Skaikru's intentions Kinos, but why would they attack a village if they did not wish fight us?" she questioned him. "Maybe they wish to weaken our forces, draw our attention to that village and lower our defences at Polis" letting the suggestion roll off her tongue she crouched beside him, watching as he worked. If that was their game, then she was certain that their plan would fail. She had been fighting one enemy or another since she was a child, She was an experienced warrior, Skaikru wouldn't stand a chance against their army, she was certain of that.
As Kinos named some sort of plant her brow furrowed in confusion "Abrus what now?" she questioned him. She was not skilled in poison or plants, her skills were restricted to offense and defence, she was a talented warrior, not a healer or a gatherer. But the way in which he described the plant made it sound extremely lethal. She was reminded never to pick a fight with Kinos, not when he has such a vast understanding of such lethal poisons.

As he gave his name, alarm bells started going off in her head. Where had she heard that name before, it wasn't a name that a member of her clan possessed, she knew this because it was an unusual name to find on the ground. "Seren" she muttered her own name in response to his words, her brow furrowing as she tried to place the man and for the first time, she actually looked at him, squinting as she scanned the features of his face. Bellamy. She flinched slightly as the memory came to her "You're the boy they sent into the mountain?" she spoke aloud, almost without meaning to. The man was one of the reasons why the mountain fell, he was the reason why the mountain fell.
At his question she arched an eyebrow questioningly "The future generations?" she questioned him "that was not a problem to think about at the current time, that was a problem for the next generation, we'd figure out what to do when the time came to take action" Seren unsheathed her knife and stabbed it into the floor of the cave, almost as if she was seeking to give her hands something to do. "What were we supposed to do?" mumbling the words she lifted her gaze to watch him "they had already taken our people from their prison, they were ready to execute them if the Commander did not accept the deal, she could not allow that to happen" He caught her attention yet again as he used a phrase she knew all too well in her native language of Trigedasleng Jus Drein Jus Daun 'Blood Must Have Blood' her eyes narrowed into a glare as she watched him. "Justice?" she whispered "you speak to me about justice? Skaikru are not the only ones who have lost people, you've lost a handful of your people, we've lost thousands! Not only to the mountain men either, your people have caused ours so much pain since your arrival, you know little of how we have suffered" the sky people thought that they were the unlucky ones, the Commander had shown them mercy on so many occasions, with the size of their army the Trikru could've wiped Skaikru out before they'd had time to send for the reinforcements from the sky.
"The boy who slaughtered eighteen of our people in my village, he should've been tied to a tree and made to suffer the pain of eighteen deaths and yet his pain ended far too quickly" she spat on the ground as if the words left a vile taste in her mouth "the Commander could've demanded the massacre be paid with the lives of eighteen of your people, but she only demanded the price of one, you should consider yourselves lucky for I know of many who would love to watch your village burn" she lowered her gaze once again to her knife, a sad smile appearing on her face as the anger that she felt ebbed slightly "believe me when I say, you are not the only one who wishes what happened at the mountain had ended differently Bellamy Kom Skaikru" Bellamy Blake

Seren shuddered at the screeching sounds and cautiously reached over her shoulder to unsheathe her sword, her other hand going to her belt to thumb the hilt of her knife anxiously. Her gaze scanned the area as she positioned her sword defensively in front of her in case she needed to defend herself from reapers, or worse from the men that inhabited the mountain.
She watched him do his word, not exactly sure what he was looking for and not really paying attention to what he picked up, She was more focussed upon keeping them safe, this was a necessary journey. "They are not the people we once knew Kinos, they are monsters, their minds are no longer their own" she muttered, looking to the sky briefly but the trees were too close together to see much light.
"The Skaikru will fall, the Commander will not fail us, we'll wipe them out with our army" she was not fond of the sky people, that much was clear. They had already wiped out a village with their missiles, killed countless of their warriors with their advanced weapons. They would not get away with it, these were acts of war and they would not go unanswered.

Lexa’s Pain: A throne stood upon a raised dais, but it stood vacant and alone, nobody was seated upon it. The Commander was nowhere to be seen, her whole tent appeared to be empty but upon further investigation you could hear a barely audible sound coming from beside the bed, the bed that was loaded with blankets of fur. If anybody cared to look they’d find a girl huddled there at the bedside, her head buried in her arms and the black war paint that she wore was running down her face, ruined by the tears that she had been trying to hold in for too long.
“Why would you do that?!” her voice came out in a hushed whisper, but there was no one to address, the words were obviously only meant for her own ears. “Why would you try to break the alliance? You knew… You knew what I’d be forced to do…” her small frail looking body shook with a barely contained sob; nobody would guess that this girl was a powerful warrior, Commander of the twelve clans that roamed planet Earth after the Nuclear war that took place ninety-seven years previously, wiped out the majority of the human population.
The images kept flashing through her mind; the way she’d had to plunge that sword into the heart of the one she trusted the most. He’d betrayed her trust, fractured the bond that they had by choosing to threaten the alliance. He’d been there when she warned the people of the village that anyone who got in the way of the alliance would pay… With their lives. He had been the only one to stand by her when things got tough. Costia saw the good in him… He’d been her guardian, she’d cared about him more than she’d cared about anything in the world. Lexa sucked in an exaggerated breath as she struggled to calm her breathing.
“Love is weakness” she hissed to herself, repeating the phrase in her head over and over again, it was weakness, a weakness that she couldn’t afford to have. She couldn’t allow her people to see the real her, the scared little girl that was hurting so much. “I’m trying Gustus… I’m trying to be strong, like you told me to be” those had been his last words, the words he’d choked out just before she’d ended his life. Before she’d chosen to end his life… No, she’d had no choice. But his blood was still on her hands.
Costia’s blood was on her hands too, she was another person she’d gotten killed. The moment she’d been chosen to lead her people, the moment she’d become the Commander she should’ve turned away from her. She should’ve told her that they couldn’t be together, should’ve told her that she didn’t want to be with her. But no, she’d been driven by her own selfish desire to be close to her beloved. If she had just been strong enough to let her go, then maybe… No, there was no maybe about it. Costia would still be alive if she’d been strong enough to let her go, if she’d just seen the love she felt for her for what it really was, weakness.
She had to move past this, it would destroy her if she didn’t come to terms with what she had done. She just had to push it to the back of her mind, Gustus was gone. No amount of crying would change that. Suddenly the sobbing stopped and the Commander rose to her feet for the first time since she’d retreated to that corner and become the sobbing wreck that nobody had ever seen before. It was necessary, mistakes had been made in the past and she had to abandon those thoughts, erase them from her mind. Just keep moving forward. Her people needed her; there was work to be done…

As we came to a halt I quickly worked my way to the front of the crowd after I saw Larentia, Gastor had muttered something about her tripping him and I wasn't about to let her get away with that. My plans to teach the woman a lesson however, changed when I caught sight of the mountain people that were cowering away from them. "Look at them, they are brave and threatening when they have their doors to hide them, but they are little more than mice once their defences are down" I spat in trigedasleng. Pathetic. They weren't warriors, they were children that enjoyed playing with their toys.
As soon as the girl stepped forwards I raised my sword to cut her down but a man quickly put his hand on my arm to stop me "the orders were to spare the innocent" his gruff voice growled at me and I returned his glare "None of them are innocent" I retorted, but lowered my weapon anyway, I knew better than to disobey the Commanders orders. "Where are our people?!" I heard a sky person ask, more like demand, yes it wasn't a gentle question, more of a 'tell us where our people are or all of you die'.
The girl muttered something about the Harvest Chamber and I definitely heard the name 'Bellamy' mentioned, wasn't he the guy who had infiltrated the mountain and made all of this possible? I didn't know, this was a recovery mission, we'd recovered our people and now we had to use our army to get the Skaikru out of the mountain, before they were all killed, we were already aware of the fact that some of them were dead already. Seren followed Kinos cautiously, this whole place gave her the chills and the only reason she'd agreed to go with Kinos was because they needed his skill in poisons and their antidotes and they couldn't risk anything happening to him whilst he was gathering them. A shiver ran up her spine and it wasn't because of the rain, this whole place radiated evil, most who ventured here did not return. Seren couldn't believe that she'd been idiotic enough to agree to coming, anybody could've been Kinos's guard but no, she'd volunteered. Volunteered... Now that was a stupid thing to do.
The last thing she needed was to be here, she could've been back at Tondc, helping Gastor perfect his spear throws and his cuts. Not only was this unfamiliar territory, but it brought dreadful things to her mind. The images of their people being dragged into the reaper tunnels and used for some reason, they had no idea what the mountain men used their people for. All they knew was that they were taking them, they'd been taking them since before she was born. Thousands of their people had disappeared within the mountain and had never returned.
As Kinos held up his hand, Seren immediately came to a halt, her gaze scanning the area suspiciously, never lowering her guard. It would be foolish to get too comfortable, there were so many threats that they had to be cautious of, Mountain Men, Reapers, Acid fog and the other natural threats that roamed these forests. As Kinos spoke in the familiar language of Trigedasleng Seren nodded "Okay, lead the way" she muttered back in the same language, her voice quiet as if scared about disturbing the silence.
At his question she shook her head "I've never been this close to the mountain... I do come to these parts sometimes, but never this close" she informed him, the truth was that she hoped to find some of their people that had been taken, maybe escapees or maybe they were being released sometimes but never making it back to their villages. She doubted it. But she had to keep looking, at least for the one person that she'd lost, she couldn't give up hope of finding her.

Seren looked at the man as he spoke, she was finding it a little easier to trust him now, not completely lowering her guard but she tried to relax a little, it wouldn't do any good to stay hunched in a corner of the cave for hours waiting for the storm to pass, she'd just have to get used to the situation that they were in. "Do you have a name?" she asked him, thumbing the hilt of her knife that was on her hip. It probably sounded like a stupid question for a grounder to ask, none of the sky people were really used to having casual conversations with the natives, but the grounders hadn't really spoken to the sky people either. Either they had no wish to associate themselves with them, or they were wary of being seen talking to them.
She looked at the ground as he referred to when they had worked together to defeat the mountain men... That had not worked out the way anybody had anticipated. Seren stopped thumbing the hilt of her knife now and instead chose to grab it, although she kept it firmly within its sheath, another subtle indication that she was nervous. "The Commander is a great leader" she muttered, hoping that her words didn't anger him in any way "In war, you have to make hard decisions... She made the choice based on what was best for us and ensured that none of our warriors would die unnecessarily, her duty is to her people first and that duty to her people overrules the duty she had to honour the alliance she made with your people" she recalled the day the mountain had fallen, when the Heda had called for them to retreat, it had angered quite a few of the warriors, many claiming that they should strike whilst they are weak, destroy the mountain and avenge the ones that they had lost. But that wasn't the decision that had been made.
"Storms like these can last for hours" she mumbled, obviously not enjoying the idea of spending hours in the cave, she was impatient to get home and help repair any damage that the storm caused to her village, find out if there had been any casualties, although she doubted it, this wasn't the first storm the clan had to endure and it wouldn't be the last. She tensed slightly as she saw him reach into his bag but allowed herself to relax when it appeared that he was only getting a drink for himself. As he extended the water pack to her she cautiously took it, they carried their water in weird containers, the water gourds they used were made from animal hide and sometimes they were carved from wood, but eventually the wood rotted and Seren found that it was much more effective to use the hide of an animal. She had seen him drink from the bottle so she knew that it could not be poisoned... Unless it was a slow acting poison and he aimed to get the antidote before it disabled his body completely, but she doubted that he had much skill in using poisons. Taking a tentative sip of the liquid, she found that it tasted normal, as far as she could tell but she handed it back to him rather hurriedly, either because she was unwilling to use anything that could link her to the sky people, or maybe it was just because she wasn't thirsty.

The moment that the army began to surge forwards Seren broke into a run, heading straight for the door that was there only way into the mountain. Blood Must Have Blood, the dead had to be avenged. These people had dropped a missile on her village, her village, slaughtering innocents. Tondc had seen too much bloodshed recently and it was time to end it all... And yet she had to obey the Heda's orders, no innocent blood would be spilt within the mountain. They were not like the mountain men, she would allow the innocents to live, but the soldiers... They would pay the price for what they had done to her people.
She almost tripped over a body on her way to the door and noticed that whoever it was, was alive. Helping the figure back to their feet she noticed that it was her younger brother, Gastor. "Stay on your feet!" she growled at the boy, shoving him ahead of herself. This was an example of just how young their warriors could be, he was just a boy, thirteen years old and going to war, probably not for the first time considering his age. Gastor was not a child anymore, he was a warrior and if he hoped to survive he would have to stay on his feet and fight for his survival.
As soon as Seren was inside the mountain she hesitated, this was all so new to her, the sound of gunfire was distracting but it wasn't new to her, not since the sky people had come to earth. It was more the smell and the appearance of this place, it didn't smell like the forest that she had grown up in, it was more like... She couldn't place it, it was completely new to her, it kind of smelt like the forest did after the acid fog had come and gone, but sweeter, cleaner.
Shaking away her distractions she ran after the others, making sure to keep up, she didn't want to get lost in the middle of a battle in a place that didn't feel right. This was the place where thousands of her people had met their ends.Larentia

Seren sat in front of the fire, the familiar crackling sound brought comfort to the girl. She was wide awake and wasn't exactly sure what she was doing away from the village in the middle of the night huddled around a fire when she could be in her tent, listening to the sounds of the village slowly dying as everyone retired to their beds.
She held her sword in hand as she stared at the silver blade, always alert, ever vigilant. She could not afford to lower her guard, not now... Not after everything that had happened. The sky people had destroyed three hundred of their warriors in a ring of fire, never before had Seren seen such a thing and she hoped she never had to witness it, she had not been with the unit that had marched on the camp, but she was aware of the damage that had been done. Families had been torn apart, familiar faces that she would never see again... Some of those people had been her friends, people she'd grown up with.
It seemed like ever since they invaded their lands, falling from the sky, all they had brought with them was war and death... The two came hand in hand with each other and she doubted that the sky people knew the meaning of the word peace. Now even more of them had come to the ground, bringing even more guns with them, even more of their warriors. The Commander had put a bounty on the sky people now. They had committed acts of war against the coalition and the people, especially those in the Woods Clan, the Clan that Seren belonged to, they had been on the receiving end of most of the sky peoples attacks, because that was where the first group had landed, in Trikru territory.
Suddenly Seren heard something, it sounded as if something... Or someone was coming towards her, probably attracted by her fire. Letting out a frustrated snarl she leapt to her feet, retreating back into the shadows, making sure to leave the fire as it was. It would be pointless to try to fight an enemy in the dark when most of the creatures that roamed the earth could see in the dark far better than she could. Waiting in the shadows she could hear now that it was a human approaching, she could tell by how clumsily it placed it's feet, the amount of noise it made as it made its way through the undergrowth.
The finally her suspicions were confirmed as she heard a very human voice call out to her, at first she did not realise what she was hearing. But then it dawned on her, this was not a member of her clan, part of her knew that this should have been obvious, the people in her clan... In all of the clans had been taught to walk soundlessly through the forest, across all terrains, but the thing that made it obvious that this was a stranger was the fact that she spoke in English. Of course the warriors across all twelve clans were taught how to speak the language, but this person spoke English without hesitation as if it were their first language, anybody that was part of the coalition would automatically speak in Trigedasleng as it was their first language that they were used to, taught to speak since they were babies. This was a sky person and Seren honestly didn't know what to do in her current situation. Instinct told her to take the intruder to the commander or otherwise cut her down before she could pose a threat to her people.
She waited in silence as the seconds ticked by, until the form of a girl appeared, she looked lost... Beaten and bruised. She didn't look like she was with anyone and Seren could not understand why she would be alone. Stepping out of the shadows as she deemed that this girl was not a threat to her, she was too weak to fight a trained warrior such as herself and Seren guessed that even the most ill trained child could over power the girl in her current state. "What brings you hear Sky person?" she questioned her, the slightest hint of curiousity present in her voice "your kind are not welcome here... I am confused as to why you are still alive when every instinct in my body commands that I kill you to avenge the warriors that we lost thanks to your people" her face displayed no emotions, maybe that was because she was unsure about what she should be feeling. Anger, confusion, grief, amusement... All were valid at the current time.

Seren trudged alongside her elder brother Lukas, he spoke to her his voice angry, telling her that the mountain would fall one day and they'd avenge the ones that had been lost. But that wasn't good enough, she didn't want to wait, she wanted revenge now, the Commander was prepared to just let them get away with slaughtering their people. No matter how loyal the girl was to the Coalition and their Commander, she could not agree with this decision.
A familiar voice brought Seren back to reality and she turned to see the Commander at her side, her gaze narrowed at the woman, listening to the words that left her mouth, she turned her gaze away briefly to see that her brother had pulled away, obviously not interested in eavesdropping on their conversation or otherwise feeling as if it wasn't his place.
Shaking her head she met the Commanders gaze without hesitation "we did not win today Heda" she spat, her hands itched to take her anger out on something, anything "they kept our people locked up in cages as if they were animals, they drained them of their blood, nobody in that mountain is innocent, why would you allow them to go unpunished?!" she demanded, coming to a halt as Lexa gave the signal.
She shrugged the Commanders hand off of her shoulder as if the contact repulsed her "You know how it feels when somebody you love is murdered and there is nothing you can do to stop it..." She hissed referring to Costia, the girl in which the Commander had been in a relationship with before her life was cruelly snatched away "Look me in the eyes and tell me that if the opportunity arose you would not act out your revenge for what the Ice Queen did, so how can you justify telling me that now is not the time to avenge my loved one when revenge was so easily within reach, we could've ended it tonight! It could've been over!" she made sure to keep her voice relatively low as to not draw attention to their conversation but her voice shook with the barely suppressed rage that consumed her.

Seren raised an eyebrow at his words "I'm sure your people find you very amusing" she snorted, it was fair to say that she did not have much time for jokes these days. If it wasn't the Sky People then it was some other matter that had all of the warriors on edge, training night and day for a battle that would surely come eventually. Nobody knew when war would strike, they only knew that a battle was inevitable and something would happen eventually to trigger it and once again their land would be stained with blood, the blood of their enemies and the blood of their people, they wouldn't be able to tell the two apart.
"Many of your people wouldn't do the same... And if the roles were reversed I probably wouldn't give you a second glance" she admitted, she felt slightly guilty as the words left her mouth, especially as the man had been willing to help her, endangering his own life by doing so. At his question she shook her head "No, I was alone... Everybody else is back at my village, they'll be safe there" she muttered, leaning back against the wall after realising that as long as she didn't do anything to provoke him, then she was safe in the boys company.Bellamy Blake

Seren watched as the man lowered his weapon, only then did she take her hand away from her sword and dropped it down to relax at her side. She was still fairly tense due to the fact that she was trapped in a cave with a potential enemy. But it was either face the sky person or head back out into the storm, the latter didn't hold much chance for survival and she needed to survive. Instead of gripping her sword now, her hand went to her belt to thumb the hilt of her knife, people who knew her would recognise this as a nervous movement for the girl as her gaze flickered around the cave every so often, scanning her surroundings, checking to see if there was any potential danger in the area. She figured that they were pretty safe, there was no animal scat to suggest that a predator lived in or around this cave and she was sure that if one did decide to appear then they could take it down pretty easily, the majority of the animals that roamed the woodlands looked fierce but they were relatively easy to kill if you knew how.
She listened to him as he spoke, intently, her gaze never once left him. She wasn't used to feeling uncomfortable in her own territory, it was foreign to her and she wasn't sure that she liked it. "Nobody does anything for nothing, why would you offer me shelter if you wanted nothing in return?" she asked, a suspicious glint lighting up her eyes as she studied him. Even as the words left his mouth she knew that he wasn't completely relaxed, he was still cautious of her, he wasn't stupid. He knew that she was a threat just as she knew that he was a threat.
"You have nothing to fear from me sky person" she breathed, taking the moment to wipe some of the water from her face "I honour the commanders ceasefire" she didn't want their people to be at war again, too many of her people had died last time. They had enough to worry about with the aftermath of what had happened at the mountain, rumours were flying, tales of an uprising from the north and if these rumours were true, they didn't need to fight each other, they'd have enough problems to keep them busy. Seren stared at the heavy metal door that sealed the mountain closed, she'd give anything to be able to get inside, to slaughter every living soul within its walls. Destroy their lives just as they had done hers. She didn't care if this mountain contained 'innocents' in her eyes, none of them were innocent. If what Clarke said was true and the mountain men had been using their blood to heal themselves, then none of them could be innocent, they'd all received the treatment at some time in their lives. They'd bled them like they were nothing more than animals, drained every last drop of blood from their bodies and them disposed of them. They didn't even get to say goodbye, she didn't even get to say goodbye.
Her lips curled back in a snarl at the thought, she imagined Sae's lifeless body lying abandoned within the reaper tunnels, maybe she had looked like her mother when she had passed on from the world, but maybe not... Seren had seen people die, she'd watched the life leave their bodies, sometimes by her own hand and none of them ever looked like they were sleeping. Her mother had been an exception. Death wasn't beautiful, it wasn't peaceful, it was bloody and horrific, terrifying and unjust. No. Sae had not died peacefully, she'd not died the way she should have. She should have died with her sword in her hand, in a battle for her clan... Not unconscious with a needle in her arm, too weak to fight back.
Part of Seren wanted to believe that her lover would still be alive, maybe in the mountain somewhere... Maybe she was waiting for them to come and rescue her, to take her away from the horrors that lay in that mountain. But that was impossible, it had been five years, five long years. Nobody could survive in there, being bled every day for five years. Even if Seren wanted to hold onto the hope of seeing her beloved again, she had to accept that Sae was gone, she'd been gone for a while now and she just hadn't wanted to face up to it.
Suddenly the door began to open, yes, the heavy metal door was beginning to open slowly, nobody knew why the mountain men were opening the door willingly, the last thing that Seren had heard was that the Heda was taking a group to take out the snipers that prevented them from getting near the door. Then she saw her, the Heda was talking to Clarke, a man was with her... He looked like he was from the mountain...
"Look! They're coming out!" a voice called and her gaze snapped towards the door again, figures began to step out from within the mountain, but they were not soldiers, they were wrapped in towels and bandages covered their bodies. They weren't wearing any proper clothing to protect them from the elements... They were prisoners... The people who had been kept in the harvest chamber. Almost immediately people rushed forwards, engulfing the people who'd just emerged and hiding them protectively within the ranks of the army.
As soon as our people were safely back within our ranks I watched in surprise as the Heda unsheathed her dagger and sliced it along the mountain man's throat, blood spurted out from the wound and as his body fell to the ground lifeless the gunfire started...

Seren hesitated briefly before entering the cave, glancing back over her shoulder one last time as if arguing with herself, wondering if the storm was as bad as it seemed and trying to calculate how fast she'd need to run in order to get back to the village. However soon after the thought of leaving entered her mind, it vanished, it didn't matter what pace she travelled at. She knew that she'd likely be crushed by a falling branch before she could cover half the distance to Tondc.
Letting out a grunt of dissatisfaction the grounder slipped into the cave, it was dark inside the cave but Seren had expected that, this wasn't the first time she'd had to seek refuge from a storm. Although strangely, she could never recall using this exact cave, maybe because she'd never been stranded in this area of the forest before or maybe it just came down to the fact that she was unaware of this particular caves existence.
As soon as she entered the cave however, she spun around to face the sky person, reaching behind her to firmly grip the hilt of her sword as she retreated further into the cave, her gaze never leaving his form. She didn't trust him, she was aware of the ceasefire, everybody was, but it didn't mean that everybody was willing to honour it and yet... Whoever this boy was, he had been willing to help her when he'd spotted her struggling in the storm, it could've been an act that had saved her life. Confusion. That's what she felt, every bone in her body told her that she couldn't trust him, his people were the reason that there was now a strain on the coalition, his people had killed countless of her own. They'd even sent a boy into her village and he'd slaughtered eighteen innocents, some of those people had been her friends, they claimed that they had no idea that events would play out like that, but Seren wasn't so sure...
Her gaze scanned his body, locking onto the weapon that he carried, a gun, of course... The sky people were more like the mountain men in terms of the weapons they carried. She'd learnt quickly that you did not want to get hit by a bullet from this weapon, the few who'd survived a gunshot wound in her village described that pain as nothing they'd ever felt before, an unbearable agony, a searing, burning pain that could not be erased. Of course she was cautious, a vague understanding that it would be idiotic for anyone to venture from their camp without a weapon at their side, she didn't quite understand why they needed guns to be their weapons, perhaps it was the fact that they lacked the skill to wield a sword or shoot an arrow from a bow.
Her grip shifted on her sword, if she remained on her guard then maybe if he tried anything she'd be ready, she doubted her chances against a gun but if it came to a fight then she wouldn't go down easily, it would be dishonourable for her to die without her sword in her hand. "What do you want Sky person?" she questioned him. The English language flowing easily from her mouth after years of practising it, a necessary part of her training to become a warrior, she knew that he'd helped her, but the question was why. Why would he help her, he certainly didn't owe her for anything, she was quite certain that she had never seen this man before, except briefly in passing perhaps when times were friendlier and they were plotting to infiltrate the mountain, but she'd never had a conversation with him... She hadn't actually had a proper conversation with any of the sky people. She didn't know much about them, but she was certain of one thing... They were dangerous.
