Was that an insult? Leilah wasn't quite certain, although a part of her was somewhat taken aback whilst the other part of her-- the savage within her-- wanted nothing more than to prove the girl wrong. A part of her that had been shadowed by her desire to aid others. ''Should I go again?'' And she wouldn't miss without water in her eyes, that she was certain of.
A prisoner? Leilah's head tilted questioningly at that, it would've been the equivalent to a joke had the skygirl not brought a gun with her. ''You should reconsider your decisions.' However, it was evident to her that she had not only the determination but also the upper hand now and there was nothing Leilah could do with them standing several feet away. Damned be these sky people and their guns. Leilah, however, wasn't ready to give up easily. She could be taken a prisoner against her will, but there was no way she would satisfy the one capturing her with answers. Thus, she simply stared at the girl for a few seconds.

 So this is a want ad for a warrior that Leilah was on patrol duty with. Let's just call him Henry for now; personality, history and pretty much everything is open, though the face claim is negotiable. All that needs to be noted is that he disappeared on her the first time they were patrolling because he saw something. What that was is completely up to the taker. After that, he'd never returned to the village, but then after a few days, she encountered him as a reaper. (These are all based on two of Leilah's threads.) After all of those events, she would have captured him and brought him to Clarke for her to turn him back. |

Rebekah :'D Soooooo we NEED to thread these two, forreal! XD I think we can basically do anything, but it mostly depends on how and when they became friends! WE COULD EVEN HAVE AN AU THREAD OF THEM AS MERE TEENAGERS, SCHEMING AND WHATNOT! Based on how strong their friendship would be, I think Leilah could've even told @amara about her brother before anyone else found out about him! But anyway, back to the real plotting; Like I said, we could go different routes with these two; there could be threads of them fighting together/ each other, when they were kids, sadder threads post either of their losses and even ordinary threads. We can elaborate on whichever you'd like to go for in PM, and if you have any ideas don't hesitate to share!  |

Leilah had been out and about. Taking her time to just breath, away from her village where she found silence. She'd recently been running around following orders, given that she was still known as a warrior despite her great interest in Nyko's knowledge in healing people. And it was also a habit, besides, she had to make sure to keep her folks protected and if possible; always a step ahead of their enemies. However, some weren't so easily subdued, like the mountain men but they always managed.
Throughout her walk to the lake far away from her village, Lei felt rather than heard the presence of someone or something but every time she scanned her surroundings she found nothing but trees and the clouds gathering in the sky above her. Still, she proceeded to advanced towards her destination, determined not to focus on anything but relaxing for the mere seconds she supposedly had to herself.
As she knelt down by the water, Leilah dipped her cupped hands to bring up the water to her face, rising off the sweat beading on her forehead. But before she could even wipe the drops away from her eyes, she was dimly aware of the shrieking noise and then followed by a 'thud'. She swiftly pivoted, pulling out her dagger in the process to throw it at the blurry figure behind a tree, somewhat blinded by the drops of water sneaking into her eyes. Finally being able to rub her eyes, Leilah squinted only to notice that her dagger had dug into the tree next to her target instead. Unfortunately, Leilah hadn't prepared for any of this, thus leaving most of her armory back in her hut, only bringing with a sword and a dagger. Though it didn't stop her from grasping for her sword, ready to move towards the enemy with determination. She was being attacked. And judging by the appearance of the girl, Lei was being attacked by a sky person. People she thought seemed rather innocent, at least the two she'd met before.
''What do you want?'' She demanded herself, reluctant to obey the girl, forcing herself to stand up. Leilah arched a brow at her question, sealing her mouth stubbornly as annoyance sparked in her orbs. ''Who's asking?''

[googlefont="Amatic SC:400"] aint it fun  Once her knife was lowered, Leilah offered a soft nod as a silent agreement; at least now it was clear that neither of them had any intentions of harming the other. Or so Leilah believed, though she couldn't always be certain as it came to the sky people because just like them, they were human beings. One of them didn't define the other; some of them were unpredictable.
Leilah examined the plants the skygirl pointed to. ‘’I know of one with similar effects.’’ It would have been easier had she known what type of illness the girl was hoping to cure, however Leilah simply moved passed the girl to retrieve something from the shadowed area of a bush, fishing out her knife from her boot to cut the plant free.
‘‘ This plant here, it has those effects you mentioned.’’ She carried it in her palm, looking at the girl warily before she reached it out for her. ‘’It’s called kava, quite helpful actually. You need to use the roots to produce a drink, like tea… Just be sure to digest a fair amount, anything more than a cup could be harmful.’’ For whatever reason Leilah was helping her was beyond her. She wasn’t certain whether she knew what Lei was explaining already, but she figured it wouldn’t harm anyone if she did. Just as long as a grounder who had reasons to dislike Leilah didn’t witness it. Their species were at war after all, she should have captured her or harmed her in any way possible, not handing her anything that would benefit the sky people; like some sort of peace offering.

Alright, not sure how you'd feel about this but I think Leilah and Lucien could actually get along! They could've even known each other before and although he doesn't have many friends, maybe they could've been friends as kids before he became a general and she had to go through the loss of practically every family member she had. Idk, but I'd love to plot a thread for these two if you're in? |

She personally believed this ‘mission’ was only a test of some sort, but that did not mean that she would slack in her job. She’d scarcely spent an hour in the woods, trudging through mud and the lake to collect what herbs was useful to her people when Leilah picked up on fresh tracks. However, she hadn’t paid much attention to that at first, proceeding to seek out the plants. But as she ventured deeper into the forest, Lei caught the slightest sight of something bright, something yellow, perhaps hair. She instinctively reached for an arrow in the holder she’d slung across her shoulder, loading her bow as she silently moved closer. When her sight cleared up to reveal a female with her back turned against her, Leilah appeared from behind the trees, careless of the noises she brought forth with her.
Her bow was raised, the target captivated in an aim as she narrowed her gaze on the girl once she acknowledged her. Although, she herself meant her no harm; she’d just wanted to proceed with caution, given that the blonde was not only armed but had her knife raised. Although perhaps a part of it had been Leilah’s fault, she had startled her after all. As the girl spoke, Leilah slowly nodded, lowering her aim. ‘‘I suppose that makes two of us, then,’’ she stated with a barely noticeable lightness, though made sure not to drop her guards. ‘‘ I didn’t mean to scare you, sky person.’’ She glanced at the moss behind the girl, examining its appearance before she returned her gaze. ‘‘ Are you sure medicine is what you’re looking for?’’ Finally returning her arrow back into the holder with the rest, Leilah kept her brows furrowed. She was aware of the knife in the blonde’s hand, but she was also confident she could stand her ground and thus, found no harm in shifting from the defensive stance she’d taken. ‘‘ As far as I’m concerned that type of plant is of no medicinal use.’’

[googlefont="Amatic SC:400"] aint it fun Life had been easier at some point. Or at least that’s what Leilah came to believe now. Back when her family had been complete, when she had enjoyed training her brother or with her father; now she could hardly stand the sight of him. A part of her blamed the evident similarities between Hephtus and Eli, but within the depths of her mind, in the darkest corner sat the truth that she so feared to accept. Lately, the grounder girl had been occupying herself with anything possible, except for training. She merely had no desire to pick up a training sword and join. Instead, she’d been watching from afar as other villagers trained together, some out of fun. Others to show off, full of pride and arrogance that wasn’t difficult for Lei to detect within their facial expressions. Although, there were the few who tried to maintain a stoic expression.
Leilah had spent most of the day inside, until her ears perked at the distant sound of a gathering from outside. Curiously, she got out of her seat in the kitchen and headed straight for the door, poking her head out through the ajar door to scan the small crowd forming around someone or something. Leilah instantly abandoned her premises to investigate the situation, joining the crowd as a faint voice became clearer by each step she took forward until she reach the front row. With furrowed brows, the girl took in the faces of those she was surrounded by.
