YOU'RE MISTAKEN HONEY i'm in charge here
Grounders. Just the word made Christian Martinez's blood boil. She hated them, the Grounders. Christian considered them heartless monsters. Beasts, no less, and she wouldn't change her opinion for anything, no matter what. Or so she thought. Chrissa was supposed to go out scouting. With the recent attack on the Jasper kid, the camp couldn't take any chances. Of course, Christian wasn't supposed to be going alone. But the Martinez chick didn't give a shit about what she was supposed to do, only what she wanted to do. And now, Christian Martinez was here.
Following a pretty, young brunette Grounder to a lake. Chrissa had her bow drawn, arrow out and pulled back, just waiting to be released, so when the anonymous Grounder Girl knelt down by the water, Chris had her arrow aligned with the Grounder's foot, ready to shoot. And Christian did, but it didn't hit the Grounder Girl's foot, it hit the space just an inch to the left of it. "Shit." Christian muttered under her breath, anger and frustration filling her eyes. It was then that Christian took out a gun, which she had brought for extra protection.
"Move and I shoot!" Christian yelled at the Grounder Girl. "Stand up slowly, nice and easy, and turn around and face me." Christian hissed. "What's your name?" Chrissa asked.

i'm like a phoenix, i will rise Leilah had been out and about. Taking her time to just breath, away from her village where she found silence. She'd recently been running around following orders, given that she was still known as a warrior despite her great interest in Nyko's knowledge in healing people. And it was also a habit, besides, she had to make sure to keep her folks protected and if possible; always a step ahead of their enemies. However, some weren't so easily subdued, like the mountain men but they always managed.
Throughout her walk to the lake far away from her village, Lei felt rather than heard the presence of someone or something but every time she scanned her surroundings she found nothing but trees and the clouds gathering in the sky above her. Still, she proceeded to advanced towards her destination, determined not to focus on anything but relaxing for the mere seconds she supposedly had to herself.
As she knelt down by the water, Leilah dipped her cupped hands to bring up the water to her face, rising off the sweat beading on her forehead. But before she could even wipe the drops away from her eyes, she was dimly aware of the shrieking noise and then followed by a 'thud'. She swiftly pivoted, pulling out her dagger in the process to throw it at the blurry figure behind a tree, somewhat blinded by the drops of water sneaking into her eyes. Finally being able to rub her eyes, Leilah squinted only to notice that her dagger had dug into the tree next to her target instead. Unfortunately, Leilah hadn't prepared for any of this, thus leaving most of her armory back in her hut, only bringing with a sword and a dagger. Though it didn't stop her from grasping for her sword, ready to move towards the enemy with determination. She was being attacked. And judging by the appearance of the girl, Lei was being attacked by a sky person. People she thought seemed rather innocent, at least the two she'd met before.
''What do you want?'' She demanded herself, reluctant to obey the girl, forcing herself to stand up. Leilah arched a brow at her question, sealing her mouth stubbornly as annoyance sparked in her orbs. ''Who's asking?''

Christian watched amusedly as the Grounder Girl threw a dagger at Christian, but missed her completely as the dagger had become lodged in a tree a couple of feet to Christian's right. "I thought that Grounders were supposed to be good shots. You throw like a girl." Christian said with a smirk. ''What do you want?" The Grounder Girl had asked.
"A prisoner." Christian stated casually. "Leverage, for if anyone ever takes another Arker." Christian said. At the Grounder Girl's next words, Christian let out a laugh. ''Who's asking?'' The Grounder Girl had asked. Christian then let a sadistic smirk spread across her lips. "The girl with the gun. Now tell me your name." Chrissa hissed.

i'm like a phoenix, i will rise Was that an insult? Leilah wasn't quite certain, although a part of her was somewhat taken aback whilst the other part of her-- the savage within her-- wanted nothing more than to prove the girl wrong. A part of her that had been shadowed by her desire to aid others. ''Should I go again?'' And she wouldn't miss without water in her eyes, that she was certain of.
A prisoner? Leilah's head tilted questioningly at that, it would've been the equivalent to a joke had the skygirl not brought a gun with her. ''You should reconsider your decisions.' However, it was evident to her that she had not only the determination but also the upper hand now and there was nothing Leilah could do with them standing several feet away. Damned be these sky people and their guns. Leilah, however, wasn't ready to give up easily. She could be taken a prisoner against her will, but there was no way she would satisfy the one capturing her with answers. Thus, she simply stared at the girl for a few seconds.

"Should I go again?" That comment made Christian scoff. 'Seriously? Does this chick not know what a gun is?' Chris asked herself. Then she smirked. 'Maybe I should show her.' Christian thought. Then as the Grounder simply breathed, Christian cocked her rifle and shot at the Grounder's foot. "Warning shot," Chrissa said. "Next it'll be your head. I'd be careful if I were you. Sudden moves make me jumpy." Chris re-cocked the gun.
"And homicidal. Of course your tiny Grounder brain might not be able to comprehend that vocbulary." Christian added with a sickly sweet smile. "Now that that's, out of the way. I will say this once again. What is your name?" Chrissa asked through gritted teeth.
