Starting Your Journey They have gathered everyone into a room at Polis, and the leaders of each clan, including the Sky People, have explained your mission to you. They have just told you who will be going with you. Below, is how your character reacts to the news, to the mission, and to each group member. In this post you should clearly state what your role is in the group, and how your character feels about each member also in the group. You must post in this thread before starting or joining any threads in your board. This is your chance to let the others in your group know anything important about what is happening with your muse during this time. Why they volunteered, and how they feel about each member of the team! We ask that you try to give everyone some background, and insights to better help them understand how things might happen between the characters.
Once you have posted, message your group members and begin your journey!

Tag: N/A whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy couldn't deny that a part of him was still surprised that he was granted this role. He seldom saw himself as a leader. He was one who supported those he believed in . . . which had caused trouble. To say the very least. But now, he was entrusted with a task. Not only to be one in the search for hope, but to lead a small faction. He did not take the position lightly, but nor did he feel he deserved anyone's trust after what happened. But he would do this, for the others. It wasn't about him, it seldom ever was. He was whatever his people needed him to be and right now . . . they needed someone to head Faction Alpha in what would be the search for hope. The search to solidify a future for not only Akers, but everyone here on this Earth. He was appointed his team, wordlessly accepting it.
Jackson would be their medic. For this, Bellamy was grateful. He had met the doctor on the Ark and the two had gotten along quite well right from the beginning. Though quite well may be an understatement. Jackson had been there for Bellamy as a friend and even partner during some of the most difficult times in his life. When he lost his mother and Octavia was arrested, after Mount Weather . . . and so forth. He had been one of the many who was chipped, and he knew it weighed heavily on the male. Bellamy could see it. But having him in his faction, was a relief. Bellamy trusted him, and knew that he was exceptionally skilled in his field. He was more than just a doctor to Bellamy though, he was a friend . . . yet was all too aware that he may have severed his ties to him as well, due to his past actions.
Kyle Wick was another that Bellamy felt relieved to have with him. He was a man who had saved his life when Bellamy was a young boy, almost caught stealing for his family. Kyle had helped distract the guard; he'd literally saved his life and in turn, his mother and Octavia's. Kyle as Bellamy's first friend on the ark, as he tended to deprive himself of such luxuries, weighted by the guilt that consumed himn over the knowledge that Octavia could not have friends. Apart from one drunken night, Bellamy and Kyle had never had any tension among them. He knew his friend suffered from Raven's rejection, though seemed to find happiness in the company of another. For that, Bellamy was quite relieved. His friend deserved happiness, or whatever form of it could be found in this world. He was a good friend, and always had been to Bellamy. His intellect would be an asset to their team, and the leader found himself grateful that Kyle was here with him.
The other two, elicited mixed feelings in the leader of Alpha faction. Echo for one, had betrayed him. Her actions resulting in the death of Gena and countless other Arkers. He had trusted her, and she'd betrayed that for the sake of her queen. It had hurt. And it had been the last straw. Constantly realizing what happened when he trusted Grounders. Echo had the power to change Pike's mind about them . . . but she had proven to be just like the others. Honor was nothing. He hated that he was so hurt by what she had done, having believed that they shared a mutual respect for each other, saving one another's lives in Mount Weather. But how wrong he had been. He didn't trust her. And was hardly thrilled that she was in this group. But for the sake of the greater cause, he had to put his personal feelings aside. Just like he always did.
Like Echo, Bellamy was also wary of Roan. While the man had 'helped' them in an attempt to stop Ontari from what she was doing and thus, destroy ALIE . . . Bellamy was far from trusting toward the Grounder. He had after all kidnapped Clarke, stabbed him in the leg, and done who knows what else in his time. Shooting him hadn't been anything about revenge, and Bellamy didn't need to exact any on the King of Azgeda. But he was still a Grounder. Still one that Bellamy could not entirely trust. With both him and Echo in the same group, Bellamy wasn't about to dismiss what this could mean. The Grounder may have skill as a fighter, but that hardly put the leader at ease over the fact that he was with them. Bellamy supposed that he could also look at it the other way around. With Eccho and Roan with him, it meant that they weren't a threat to any one else.
There was no doubt in Bellamy's mind when it came to the skills that each member in the team had. What it came down to, was trust. And there was a divide in that. Still. Bellamy knew despite what happened, he would give his life for any of them. He would do whatever it took to protect them, because so long as their intentions lay to protecting everyone . . . then it was a strong commonality they all shared. He only hoped no one would betray that; and everyone would realize all that was at stake. Taking a deep breath, Bellamy grabbed his pack, equipped with what he needed. He needed to steel himself; be the leader that he was expected to be. The others were relying on him, and he couldn't let them down. Never again.

She understood that this was a something she had to do, even if she didn't understand how this thing that might happen could kill them all. Her king said they were going, and no one among her people was a better scout. She had learned to travel unseen, and quickly when spying on Nia for Roan. Echo was willing to do her part in helping--she just had to wonder if she would live to see the end of it. The Sky People had been known to be bloody, and their range of what had been done had claimed many lives. Now she would be going with three of them to unknown places, where anything could happen. While she knew nothing of the other two, she knew Bellamy. She knew that he had given his word on bringing down the Mountain, and he had kept it. If he choose, she would not make it back. Which was why she was grateful--though she would never show it because that was a weakness she would not expose--that Roan had also been asked to go with the group.
Most of her troubles would come from Bellamy. If he choose he could make this easier or harder for her. His choice would affect the other's too. She had watched the Sky People enough to know that if he gave an order, there were many that would obey. She would need to deal with this before they set out, or risk walking into something unknown--and Echo didn't do the unknown.
The doctor, Jackson they called him, looked unimposing enough. Tall and thin, there wasn't much build to him. She would wage that he had little if any training in fighting, which would be to her advantage if things turned for the worst. He was one of their healers, and Nyko had spoken highly of him when she had over heard one conversation. She wouldn't turn her back to him, but she didn't see him as a threat. The same could not be said of the other Skyman. Wick they called this one. He had a slight more build to him, but she didn't understand his job. She didn't trust what she didn't understand. This one would need to be watched.
She didn't look away from the persons speaking, or give a sign that she reacted outwardly to any of the news. The Azgeda didn't so weakness, and reacting to the news would be such a thing. Instead she stayed still, and stoic, even while she tried to figure out if this was their chance to save the peoepls, or get even with her. Either way, for the first part of their journey she would need to make sure to keep her eyes opened, and mind clear.

Tomac's first thought, was that there were no other Floukru in his group. He was not familiar with most others, except for who was apparently their leader. Clarke, she was called. And this was not Tomac's first time seeing her. She had come aboard the rig, trying to force something on their leader. They lost many at that time, and whether she and her people were to blame, Tomac was undecided. What he did know was that they were drugged and forced to return to where they came, for they did not want to be a part of their war. They did not want to fight in their battles. But alas, they had all come together for this cause. United by one common goal: to save their people. Skaikru and clans were no longer divided. They were brought together, serving a role for their own people. So Tomac could not complain, nor defy. Looking at his group, the only one who was of an impressive height was one called Jaga, the scout of their grouping. Even she was thin.
The rest . . . well, it was hardly a surprise they would need Tomac as their designated warrior. They were tiny. All of them. Even the male Skaikru. Maybe their heads would make up for what their physicality lacked. Either way, Tomac was doing this for his people. They could no longer isolate themselves in the hope of remaining peaceful when the world was fighting back. He supposed he would have to see what each offered . . . but for the most part, The little Skaikru boy carried a strange contraption. He didn't trust Clarke based on their last encounter. The tall woman looked like she couldn't fight. And the other one . . . was just as small as the boy and Clarke. Tomac remained thoroughly unimpressed with other members of his group but he had promised to protect them, and protect him he would.

Lilly was fighting to stand still! This mission would be the hardest thing she had ever done, by choice at least. She would be leading this mission! Not because she was her mother's daughter, or that Kane favored her mother, but because she had earned it! Working hard and staying on her path had lead her to this point! While it would be hard to once again say good bye to her mother, she would do it to help save her. She wasn't afraid of what was out there, not anymore. She was ready to undertake this! She had the best crew out of the bunch too! Lilly knew this wasn't something to smile about, but she wanted tp prove herself, and this was her chance! She really believed that there would be a place for them all out there!
Lilly was the daughter of Callie, a council member on the Ark; and still a predominant member of their people. When she was arrested for illegal substances and sent to Earth, she had lied about who she was. The only few privileged who had known her hadn't given her away. It had only been recently, after mount weather, that others had learned that she had been raised in the upper classes. She had worked hard, and trained to join the guard. First under Bellamy's guide while they were at the dropship; and later with the actual guard at Camp Jaha. When Pike became commandar she had kept her head down, and not gotten evolved in the politics. It was later that she would begin to stand out. When ALIE took over the camp, she used Jasper's distracted on stealing Raven as a way of escaping. She hadn't known where she was going, but she ended up finding some grounders who thankfully didn't kill her. They had spread the word of what was happening tot he clans, and helped slow the mass spreading. Because of this, she was given the role as leader of her own group. Delta Group!
Looking over across the room she looked at Nyko, a man she had only met in passing, but never spoken directly too. He was known as peacful, and good. That was great for her, because Lilly wasn't one who could overly assert her power every day. Nyko was smart, and she would do well to take his advice when she needed it. Then here was Harper. Lilly was excited that Harper was on her team. They had been been on the dropship that had sent the 100 down, and in Mount Weather together. She respected Harper, and was a little surprised she wasn't leading this mission. Yeah, she had a good team! The only real concern was Jasper. Looking over at him, Lilly tried to guage how he was doing. For a while he had helped keep everyone alive while in Mount Weather, and she had thought he would have risen int he ranks after that; but the loss of Maya had taken a toll on him, and she was worried that he might not be ready for this mission. She hoped this would be good for him, since they were taking no booze, but she also knew that if he really wanted to do himself harm there were other ways. He had been known for herbs on the Ark. Him and Monty.
The last member of their team was Alekay. Lilly had tried to keep from looking at him the longest, but now she found herself looking toward him. Alekey. That would be her other challenge. They had spent the most resent weeks traveling together, and she wasn't sure if they would kill each other before they figured out how to make a good team. He had led them last time, and hadn't overly let her help. Lilly grinned toward him, enjoying the moment of knowing this was her moment. Now she was in charge, and she was going to enjoy reminding him of that.
She wasn't worried though. Her team would be alright. They were good at what they did, and she was sure that they would make the perfect team. It would do everyone good to get out of here for a while anyway.

W A R R I O R ; H E A L E R As the sole healer of Trikru, Nyko knew he had a certain obligation to embark on this mission. Healers were growing more and more rare. And soon, they all would become extinct unless they found a way to survive. Together. Yet the hope was dwindling fast in the healer's mind. Not because he didn't want to help save others, but because of all that he had lost. First his son, and then his brother of heart. When news reached Nyko of Lincoln's death . . . devastated was not nearly a powerful enough word. His friend, his brother, had been killed. He knew how important peace was to Lincoln. How hard he fought for it. How much he sacrificed for it. And now, he was dead because of it. The last time Nyko had cried so uncontrollably was when his son had died. A warrior was not supposed to shown emotion, but that was not what he was. He had been a father. He had been a brother. And now, both roles were stripped from him; tainted by death. By losing the two most important people in his life. He had known Lincoln since he was a boy. Watched him grow up. And now . . . he was no more. No father should outlive a son. No older brother should outlive their younger. It was unnatural, and yet, the harsh, cruel reality thrust upon the healer. He had been assigned under the leadership of Skaikru, along with two others and a former Trikru warrior. Still a warrior, but there had been rumors surrounding him. Nyko didn't know their leader called Lilly, nor did he know the woman who would be guarding them. But he did know the young Skaikru male. He had gone with them to Mount Weather, when Abby and Jackson had taken the risk to save Nyko's life. Along with Lincoln. Lincoln had saved Nyko's life, and he hadn't been able to return the favor. Nyko was all too aware that wallowing in bitterness would make himself rather useless. He needed to be strong for the sake of mankind. Even if life felt it no longer held purpose. He was a healer, meant to save others and yet . . . he couldn't even save his own family. All he could do now was take a deep breath, carry his pack, and set off on this journey.

Post by Klara on Aug 24, 2016 0:55:18 GMT
Klara had decided to take part in this mission as soon as she heard that something was going to kill them all in few months if they didn't find safe places. She still had to protect the orphans so she had to do it, for them and all the clans to be safe. She joined the Faction Beta as a medic even if she wasn't a healer but a scout, she knew some medical stuffs as you learn loads of things when you have to live on your own and she was ready to use what she knew to help.
She was glad to see Clarke again and was happy that she was the leader of her faction because after spending time together months ago, they had become friends and Klara trusted her. She knew that the Skaikru girl was peaceful and that the only case in which she will kill or let someone die was if she had no other choices. Plus, she knew some medical knowledge so she will be able to help her if something bad happened.
Klara didn't know the others but as she knew some things about Skaikru culture since she met Clarke, she was almost sure that their tech, Monty, wasn't a threat especially if he was as peaceful and nice as their leader. Klara understood that their guard, Tomac was from Floukru which meant that he was probably peaceful too but she was a little afraid of him because he was so tall! However the person on her team she will be most wary of was their scout, a tall woman named Jaga, Klara didn't know much about her even if she was from Trikru like her but she will have to speak with her, it will be useful to share about their experiences as scouts.

This is my Fight Song--TAKE BACK MY LIFE SONG, PROVE I'M ALRIGHT SONGHarper wasn't too sure why her head still hurt. Well, she had been pulled by the hair, banged into a wall and generally beat up, but she would have thought that she would feel better by then. At least somewhat better.
Her gaze went around the room, looking at everyone who was going on that same mission. It was a weird sight, she had to admit, to see the grounders mixed in with the Arkers in such a peaceful way. They were all here to look for safety, to escape the coming radiation. It would be quite a ironic thing for the Arkers at least, for them to come down to Earth, finding it was livable to just die months later from more radiation. It was irony that Harper didn't find too funny. She could remember the feelings of both fear and excitement when she came down to Earth. The feeling of freedom mixed in with the fear that she would suffer and die from radiation in the air. The same feelings mixed together now. They had managed to defeat ALIE, they were free from the hold of one evil yet the looming threat of radiation was again over them.
In it all, Harper would have to guard her group alone. That was what she most feared, being alone with the responsibility of shooting straight and shooting fast. The pain her body held reminded her of the other times her body had hurt and the all the times she had been too weak. Harper wasn't strong. She wasn't sure she would ever manage to feel strong again. Every time she felt like she was strong something happened to prove that she was weak again. This time it had been Jasper, beating her up. The boy didn't even look strong, not in the way that Harper should have been. Months of training and look where it had gotten her. At least if something happened during the mission, Jasper would be there as well, he had sure proved himself to be stronger than Harper.
As she looked over at Jasper, she saw that he was looking at Monty. Harper didn't want to look at Monty, not because she was angry with him but because she loved him and she hated the fact that she had been split up from him. It was easy to understand why Jasper and Monty had been split, the two of them needed to do the same job, but Harper wished she could have been with Monty. If anything happened to him and she wasn't there to help...
At least the people in her group looked competent enough. Lilly would make a great leader. The two knew each other from the coming down in the dropship together, serving on Bellamy's militia together and being in Mount Weather together. Harper respected Lilly and she would be happy to follow her instructions. Looking over at the other factions being led by Bellamy and Clarke respectively, Harper was completely happy to be in Lilly's faction. And out of everyone in the faction, Lilly was the person that Harper trusted the most. She was only person that Harper actually trusted completely, to be totally honest.
Going back to Jasper, Harper wasn't sure how to feel. Her trust for Jasper had been lost. It was the chip that had made him do what he had done but with the way Jasper had been since Mount Weather, Harper could easily imagine him doing it without such an excuse. Jasper was emotional and self-destructive. Something had broken in him. Harper could remember so much time spent with drunk and sobering Jasper throughout the months and not one time had she gotten any good signs, any signs to show that Jasper would heal. While she knew that his skill set was needed and that he might be helpful in a fight, she wouldn't trust him when it came to any major situations. She knew she would have to try and talk with Lilly, to work out her views on Jasper as well. The last thing the faction would need was added danger because of a purposeful mistake made by Jasper. Harper needed to keep them all safe.
Then there were the grounders of the group. Nyko was the one of the two that Harper knew of, although she didn't know him well. She knew he was a healer and she could remember hearing good things about him. Although she had never really talked to him and couldn't say she knew much about him apart from that. Harper would trust Nyko as a healer, that he would look after them if they were injured or sick. She would also trust that he could fight, he looked big enough and strong enough. But she didn't know if she could trust him in any other way, she wouldn't know until she had spent time around him and got a chance to talk to him.
The final member of the faction was Alekay. At least, that's what Harper thought she had heard for his name. She had never met him before nor had she heard of him. Out of all the people in her faction, he was the one that she was the least sure of. She was sure that he would be good at his task but otherwise, she would be keeping a good eye on him. Her gun wouldn't just be to protect the group from outside dangers, but also from internal danger. Her job was to protect them and she would take that seriously. NO TAG |

Post by Clarke Griffin on Aug 24, 2016 16:28:57 GMT
At least her group was tolerable. Clarke did this for one reason: To do the right thing. To save as many people as they could. Chances were that not all of their group would survive all of it. So at the end of the day, her opinion of them did not matter and shouldn't matter. She wasn't here to make friends. She felt like that was an illusion lately anyway. Friendships were always in danger due to circumstances.
To Clarkes pleasure the group she was assigned to lead included two people she knew and respected: Klara, who helped her while she was out there, who protected her with her knowledge. She had a keen mind, one that would help them greatly. The thing with her was, that her knowledge was not found in books but in her experience and experience was worth so much more than any bookish knowledge. And she knew how to treat injuries. Thats all they needed on the way. Any worse injuries - well that was fate already. She felt safe enough to put the safety of the group into Klaras hands and in any case, she could assist, if needed.
Monty was the other person she trusted, despite not having spoken to him much since Mount Weather. He had helped save them when she had tried to not put the weight on him. She had failed. With Monty handling their tech, they would be fine at least in that department. Fighting was a thing she worried about.
Jaga was someone Clarke had never met before and because of that, she was sceptic. Clarke wasn't sure she wanted to find out more about their assigned scout. As long as she fulfilled the task, Clarke had no reason to antagonize her. But given Clarkes past, she didn't any attempt at forming a bond would be initiated by her. It was the same way with Tomac. She didn't know him, but his physique could give someone the assumption he was capable of protecting them. She'd still feel safer with one of her people being their guard. In the end, everyone had to see for themselves how they would survive. Like with Jaga, she was sceptic. She was willing to let them prove her wrong, though.

Roan had once been forced into survival. He had become quite good at it. Roan also knew of the shortcomings of his mother. As such, he knew he owed the twelve clans something. He owed them the effort to join firmer than his mother ever did. He owed some of them justice he couldn't give them. But most importantly: He owed Azgeda. He was their king. So he owed them to find a way to minimize the collateral damage in this and maximise the number of survivors - whatever it took. Being his mothers son, he had grown up with the need to be opportunistic. And he would not get rid of that habit anytime soon.
He was in a way glad Echo was there, but at the same time he was unsure of where she stood with the skaikur. Her role in his mothers plans wasn't lost on him and so he remained sceptic towards the friends safety. He would protect her from them, if he had to, without a second thought, from any form of harm they might want to bring to her. Bellamy he had gotten to know, despite the stories that one heard, he found him a protector so far. He could work with him, but that did not mean they were friends. However, as far as Roan was concerned the shot was well deserved and so he held no grudge against this skaikru man. The other two, Kyle Wick and Jackson were unfamiliar to him and as thus, he was open to meeting them, but would keep his guard up against them. After all their people killed multiple armies. He better not take his chances.

[break] Alekay wasn't even sure how this all happened. Things seemingly happened so fast, despite the drawn out events. The start to everything was when he'd lost a family member during the Skaikru shooting at the village. The first time they were deprived of justice thanks to the former commander. The second, was the bombing of Tondc, where Alekay had lost someone else. Yet again, they were deprived of justice when forced to retreat against an enemy that had been killing their people for nearly a century.[break][break]
There was no outlet for the pain of losing his loved ones. So he turned to rebellion. Rebellion, against a Commander who betrayed their very culutre of jus drein jus daun. Alekay had gone from Indra's second, to a rogue. He traveled, recruiting others who felt the similar betrayal and dishonor of running from a battle. As a true warrior, Alekay would rather die fighting than live a long life as a coward. Unfortunately, he'd had no choice. Not until he broke free of her command. [break][break]
[attr="class","sexy_quote"]"Jus drein jus daun ... blood must have blood"
He knew the process would be long and was slowly building his group of trusted men. Until word spread that Lexa had been killed. He felt no remorse for her death, hoping that the next Commander would be better. Stay true to their people's culture and beliefs. Ontari was her name and yet, there seemed to be something else that broke traditions. He found out more from the Skaikru girl who had run into one of his hunting traps. She explained some nonsense about the city of light. But from what Alekay saw, her words held truth. [break][break] They traveled together until the threat was eliminated. And now, a whole new one presented itself. The threat of nature, of the world fighting back. No amount of physical force could stop it. All they could do was work together, to find a way to save everyone. But the collaboration of their people, was easier said than done. Alekay was put into Lilly's group -- under her leadership. Ha. That was a joke. Alekay had no intention of following her around. Though, he had to admit he was relieved. Relieved that she was with him so that he could protect her. Even if that was not his primary role. [break][break]
The others with the exception of Trikru's healers, were unfamiliar to him. Two other Skaikru members that he had never met. At least they had a healer of his own people. Alekay had no experience with the Skaikru's methods of healing. They all seemed to be a fairly put together team. Even with the woman who carried a gun -- something that Alekay as most of his people, were wary of. Though his focus remained on their leader; on the woman that he was with and one that he would give his life for. Now articulating that, was an entirely different matter. For now however, they were known as Delta, ready to find hope for all of their people. And Alekay was determined as ever, to do what he could for the good of their own. [break][break]

To say Monty was concerned when he heard the names of who would be in his group was an understatement. The only name he actually recognised was Clarke and he wasn't sure if he could trust her completely anymore. He'd have to learn if they were going to work effectively together but he was reluctant. She'd abandoned them after Mount Weather, sure she'd come back but it was a little too late. He was willing to work with her, he wouldn't be doing it for her, he'd do it so that his friends would be safe from the radiation that was going to kill them. The group needed him to work the radiation detector, he doubted the grounders would know how to work it and although he figured Clarke might be able to work it out eventually, it was easier if he just tagged along, he was the only one who knew how to fix it if it broke anyway. Even if their relationship had been damaged by past events, Monty knew that he'd stick close to Clarke, the other three members of their group were grounders and he felt much more comfortable knowing that Clarke was there too, she'd spent time with grounders, maybe she understood them better because of it. He trusted Clarke a lot more than he did the grounders, he at least knew her or at least, he thought he knew her. She wasn't likely to throw a spear at him if he annoyed her so that was at least something.
He didn't really know anyone else in the group, the least threatening of the grounders looked to be Klara and she was the groups healer, so he guessed that she wasn't a warrior, but that didn't mean he could trust her. She might not look like a threat but that didn't mean that she wasn't one. The only thing that mattered was her ability to do her job if one of the group became sick or injured, they needed a capable healer with them, Monty knew that Clarke had some medical knowledge, he'd seen her, she'd saved Jasper's life once, so even if this grounder didn't turn out to be a great healer then at least they had a back up. The other grounders in the group, Jaga and Tomac were a little more intimidating, they were both tall, taller than Monty was and Tomac looked as though he could snap him like a twig if he wanted to. He didn't know which clans either of them were from, but he didn't know much about the different clans if he was honest, he knew that they needed him to work the detector and that would do to ensure his safety for now.
Monty was concerned because he hadn't been placed in the same group as Jasper, to spend for weeks apart from him would be a big jump, especially with Jasper in his current state. He was still fragile and Monty was reluctant to leave him because of this. Monty was able to support him whenever he was having a particularly bad day, he knew Jasper better than anyone else and without his support he was worried that Jasper wouldn't be able to cope. Still, Jasper still had Harper in his group, that was something although after what Jasper had done to her whilst he was chipped, he didn't know how their relationship was or if they had the same amount of trust for each other that they used to.
Harper was another person that he was worried about, this mission could turn out to be dangerous and he didn't want her to be in any danger, he hoped that Jasper and Harper still trusted each other enough to look out for one another, even if they didn't want to admit it they needed each other and Monty needed for them to both be okay because if anything happened to either of them then he didn't know what he'd do. He cared about Harper, he might go as far as to say that he loved her but he was uncomfortable using that term, when you loved people you were more prone to losing them and he didn't want to lose Harper, that much he knew with certainty.
The only reason he'd agreed to go on the mission was because he thought that his skills as an engineer could be used and he'd rather go out and be useful instead of sitting around back at Arkadia feeling useless and not knowing what was going on. He'd had time to mourn the loss of his mother, not a lot of time but it was more than some people got, his relationship with Jasper had slowly started to repair itself, things weren't perfect but Monty didn't think they'd ever be perfect. For now it was all that they had and they had to make sure that they lived long enough to build on it.

Wick was a f-ing genius. He had lived a normal middle class life on the Ark, had lots of friends, and had been called one of the brightest minds in his field. When the Ark discovered it was dying, he had been one of the workers assigned to trying to fix it. From there he had come to Earth, and done his part in helping the people gain functionality and safety. He was a could be called a hero---if he kept his mouth shut long enough to let people see it. Wick wasn't quite at anything. He didn't have a traumatic past, or dark reason for it, but he didn't wear his negative emotions well. Disappointment, heart ache, exhaustion, or even being unsure of himself had led to sarcasm and wit to hid behind.
That being said, right now, Wick was struggling to stay quite. Every time someone's name was called an assigned a group and role he had something smart to say. "We could just hide behind that guy, and be safe." He told someone beside him of the freaky tall grounder. It was his way of not looking like he was scared. And he was. Kyle knew the world was ending, and it scared him. He didn't want to die. He didn't want Bree to die. He was going for her. And Bellamy, he was going for Bellamy too. Because Bellamy was his friend, and had been his friend since he was 9. He wanted to be a better friend right now, and with Bellamy having lost Gena, and then been fighting with his sister--who wasn't going--he wanted to make sure his bro was alright.
Which was why Wick's condition of himself going was that he be assigned to whatever group Bellamy Blake was in. He had no trouble with the younger man leading them--Wick wasn't a leader, so he never wanted that role. Jackson was cool too. He had thankfully never been seriously injured and needed to meet Jackson professionally, but they'd meet before. The other two made Wick nervous. He wasn't a violent person, and violent people made him uneasy. The Rowing guy look fit to kill, and the girl named after sound bouncing off things had a resting bitch face. Side stepping closer to his friend, he muttered under his breath, "We are like the five dwarfs. Grumpy, mouthy, killy, bitchy," He looked over toward Jackson, then back to Bellamy to mutter again, "and Doc." All they needed was someone with a temper to light the fire because this group looked primed and ready to explode. This was gonna go great!

Assigned to a team, Nate could care less about who was joining them so long as one; he had his boyfriend and two; they wouldn't be killed in their sleep. He hadn't wanted to be split up from Bryan, especially now that he was injured and recovering, Nate knew he was probably the best one to protect him. That protective streak along with his training and job in the guards uniform had earned him the place in their team as guard and Bryan the leader. He had faith in his boyfriend. He could do this, he just needed to believe in himself.
It wasn't just himself and Bryan though. Their team also had Thalia and Jay, and their team had the most Sky people. Their scout was a grounder, which was okay in his eyes. Who better to scout the area than someone who lived here? He had let go of his anger and hatred towards the grounders. They weren't all bad. Lincoln was living proof before he was killed. Thalia and Jay seemed pretty alright too - he wasn't the best of friends with them but they were Arkers and he had seen them around so it wasn't total strangerness.
Still he trusted them. That was important right? Being able to trust your team mates?
Since the battle, all Nate wanted to do was rebuild their lives. Grounder, Arker, it didn't matter by that point. He was tired of fighting, tired of losing people, tired of the bloodshed. Their survival had depended on it all but now he hoped that, after everything, they could just be at peace with each other. Even if some feelings and emotions were still running high. Nate ran his fingers across his head, finger tips resting against his temples. Man he could sleep for a week if given the chance. Fighting for your life really took out the energy.
"We always do." Nate nodded in agreement, his features settling back into serious mode. Though he liked to joke around at times, this was serious but he also believed what Bryan said. They got this. They would have this. They would find somewhere safe and then they could get on with building their new life together. The house on the lake, grow corn and raise chickens just like he had said in the tunnels of Polis. And by the gods he was going to keep his word no matter how long it took.

Thalia held the medic pack in her hands, face mostly blank, except for the hint of anxiety that was laced about her brows. Well, she was really doing this then. Wow. She was impressed with her own bravery. And...that sounded lame. But who else would be impressed about her or for her? No one. She was alone.
Looking at the medic pack in her hand, her dark lashes almost brushed her pale freckled cheeks. Would he father have been proud of her? After the initial pitfall of sorrow at loosing him to the Culling, Thalia had decided she would be proud that her father, who had been suffering form a terrible illness, had volunteered. She had been sent to Earth with the 100 after trying to steal medicine for him, so in the end not only had he saved time for the other Arkers, but he had saved her too.
It was a good thing that she was no thief. A faint smile crossed her face. Looking up at the others in her group who she be medic to, she chewed the inside of her lip. Her fingers fiddled with a loose thread on the pack’s hem too, another sign of her anxiety about this mission. Or maybe not the mission, but the threat itself. Well, at least all of humanity was trying to work together now...
She wasn’t a fighter. In fact, even during the ceasefires after Mount Weather and even still when there had been threats abound about leaving the Arker territory, Thalia had still gone into the forest regularly. Insane, yes. But she felt more at home in the open freedoms of the forest, than being cooped up with people who always wanted, wanted, wanted things, but never gave anything in return.
Alright that was harsh. They weren’t all like that. But she didn’t have any family on the Ground and she didn’t have any close friends. She had the forest. Every way of life the animals took to, captured her interest and made her stray from the camp of Arkers. Every edible root and leaf and vegetable too. She had been the 100’s food handler for a reason. She loved everything the forest had to give, loved getting lost in it, and creating new things from its many bounties.
Incredibly cheesy, that was her. A crooked, nervous but warm smile slipped onto her lips. Grounders made her nervous, but she saw them as she saw any other person: every human was unpredictable and made her nervous. It was why she always tried to say funny, odd or lighthearted things. They helped her mood as well as the over all atmosphere. And speaking of people who made her nervous, there was her group.
The Grounder, for obvious sharp and pointy reason made her nervous (arrows were as terrible as spears, thank you). Bryan as their leader made her extra nervous, since he had been a follower of Pike the Terrible and Merciless. His boyfriend Nate made her nervous because, like Bryan, he had experience in shooting a gun to kill. Jay Macallan however... Well, she had actually talked with him a bit before, but let’s just say in her current state that even he made her nervous.
Was she a nervous wreck at the moment? HA! Who wouldn’t be after hearing the ACTUAL end of the world as all of humanity knew it might very well happen and these groups were their only chance of survival? Hahaha no pressure! Shrugging her pack on, she started to twirl a lock of her wild dark hair around her finger. The two lovebirds were twitter oh-so-seriously about how they ‘got this’ and her smile shook.
“Yeah, yeah...” she cheered to herself, under her breath, “It’s not like we all don’t have experience in struggling to live...haha...Yay, round five hundred, go~”
