❧ The peace of the moment was ruined by Roma's sudden appearance and callous behavior. But it hasn't the harsh tone or brushing of their shoulders that had Leiana rolling her eyes dramatically—it was Bellamy's arrival. It was too early for this confrontation and she would much rather avoid it all together.
Leiana looked at him out of the corner of an eye and even with her impaired vision saw him dressed is only pants and boots. She scoffed softly, looking in the direction Roma had gone as she made the connection.
The realization that he was sleeping with the delinquent wasn't nearly as shocking as it had been the first night they landed. Bellamy was proving to be quite a hit with the ladies. "It wasn't that." There was a soft defiance in her voice, in her eyes as they briefly looked over his shirtless body and then away just as quickly.
"Jasper was screaming. I can't bear to listen knowing there is nothing I can do to help." Those words made her heart clench painfully. She hated hearing Jasper scream. Leiana purposely ignored his taunt, refusing him the satisfaction of getting a rile out of her. Instead she crossed her arms against her chest and resumed watching the sunrise.
This was not how she wanted to spend the morning; being scrutinized by him or having him wrestle the bracelet off her. They both knew that he could take it by force if the mood struck him. "So... Roma, huh?" She said suddenly, softly. Leiana was uncomfortable having his attention on her and wanted desperately to shift his focus. |

❧ Clarke's presence was one that never failed to brighten her days just a little bit. They got along well enough without their relationship becoming stressful or heartbreaking; and after all that had happened and all they had lost, that was a welcomed change. So when the blonde approached, Leiana, who was settled and having a drink and a small bite to eat, motioned for her to take a seat. “Yes, of course there is.”
She offered water and to share the meat she had been given with nothing more then a smile. There was never a need to force conversation with Clarke, which Leiana was thankful for. There were times when they sat in silence, simply enjoying each others company and the peace it provided. Sometimes that was all a person needed. To stop and take a few minutes to themselves otherwise might run themselves into the ground. “What else can I offer you, Clarke? Is there something I can help you with or would you just like someone to talk with?” |

 I would adopt Octavia or Raven as a sister. Why? Because they are both incredible women. I am blown away by how strong they've proven to me. I admire them both. |

Do you think you'd be a good parent? How so?  I'd like to think I would be but I would know unless I had a child. Why? Because I have one of the best parents to learn from. My mother might not have been faithful to my father but she did all she could for me. She loved me and protected me and made my childhood a good one. I would do all of this for my children. |

What do you believe is the oddest ritual Grounders have? Using scars to identify themselves and how many people they've killed.
I don't understand it at all. It seems so unnecessary to me.

How well do you handle to criticism? That all depends. Are you criticizing me to help me?
Are you pointing out my short comings so I can correct them and do better in the future?
Or are you doing it to belittle me and make yourself feel like a big shot?
Because if you're trying to help me that's fine and I'll handle it well.
But if you're doing it to be an asshole I will smack you in the mouth.

Do you believe that love blossomed from friendship is better than one sourced from lust? Why or why not?  No. I don't think one is better than the other. We're all different and we all love differently. Sometimes love grown from a friendship is easier because you know the person well. You know what they like and what they don't, their secrets, what makes them tick. There is a strength is love that comes from friendship. While love born through lust is wild and untamed. It's passion and excitement and the unknown mixed together. It's an adventure from beginning to end. Both are equally intoxicating and memorable and important. |

Can you fall asleep with ease? Not really, no. I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep.
Like if someone walks into my tent and doesn't say anything alarm bells start ringing.
I guess I'm always afraid somethings going to happen. Like a snake bite. Or a grounder attack.
You've gotta be ready for anything and you can't defend yourself if you're asleep.

What was the best moment you had at camp? The first time it rained.
I couldn't see a damn thing that night because it was so dark.
I was shivering because it was so cold and windy.
But as those first drops hip my skin it was an entirely new sensation.
It felt like it washed away the sadness for a little while.

What do you think is wrong with most people? Generally speaking? I think most people are selfish and while it's not always a bad thing, but it corrupts them.
It twists and bends and shapes them into a travesty of their former selves.
I totally understand being selfish and wanting things; to survive another day, to get the guy, to be in charge.
But not at the expense of those that trust you and love you.
Without them, we're nothing.
