There is nothing I would have done differently. I couldn't have without knowing then what I know now. And what I know now is only because of what I’ve done, and wouldn't guarantee a more favourable result either way. Wishing seems like a futile thing to do.

I’ve been loyal to Azgeda first and foremost all my life. I never envisioned myself finding a higher calling than to serve my clan. If it were in the interest of Azgeda that I procreate, then I suppose I would. I guess I always thought it was something to think about in some distant future, if I ever had one.

I have seen so much betrayal and death that I don’t know whether bringing a child into the world would be a kindness.

As for settling down, I’ve never been good at staying in one place.
