Archery. Hitting the target time and time again was rewarding and the challenges never stopped. Further, on horseback, at night in little light, even with one arm and my teeth on rare occasions. There was always a way to make it fun, without taking away from how lethal I wanted to become. I practiced my aim for hours, often on rotten husks hanging off trees.

Yes, I have, with Anya kom Trikru. I shouldn't have; it wasn't allowed and it wasn't right. I was spellbound. She had a commanding presence and nerves of steel, but a generous heart I could never have earned. I was on a mission and she knew me as someone else.
