THE HELL WE WANT
Bellamy fave a bit of a smirk when she spoke of how she had given him her best care. "Well, I definitely have no complaints. I'm a pretty well satisfied patient," he added on jokingly. Damn, it felt good. To just be playful, tease, joke around. As if this bunker had served to be a small escape from the hell of a world that awaited them out there. Bellamy was completely willing to take full advantage of that for as long as he could. He closed his eyes the moment Rylee's lips touched him, breathing into the light kiss as his hand continued to glide over her skin enjoying the complete softness. Her initial answer to his question caused him to slightly raise an eyebrow, an expression of mock offense.
"If you're just alright, clearly I didn't do a good enough job." But he knew she was teasing, evidenced by the light laughter that followed. Another sound he loved hearing: laughter. It was too rare of a sound and once that Bellamy often basked in. To hear that she was perfect, thanks to him . . . Bellamy felt his heart swell with emotion. Though he didn't show it. He could never show it. Just as he could never explain to someone how much he craved that, companionship. To allow himself devotion to someone, and her words . . . were falling dangerously close to that admittance. To that vocalization of his deep seated desire. To belong to someone; to care for someone. To just, be with someone, not only physically but emotionally as well. He kept the stoic demeanour though, his smile fading into a slightly softer one as he looked at her.
"Tonight, I needed you too," he said. Words he could say with the utmost truth. He had needed this, and not only because he was aroused. "Just for tonight," he repeated her words rather than confirming them. "Let's just, take advantage of tonight." He couldn't promise her a future, or another time like this -- unless it involved the same lack of commitment. No matter how much he wished he could. But, she deserved better than what he was. After all he had done, how could he expect anyone to want to be with him. To want to be with a monster. "And not think about tomorrow," he finished, placing another light kiss on her temple, shutting out everything else for the time being and continuing to thoroughly enjoy her company.
