.:Age:. Twenty-Five
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Talulah is a small, spirited woman with a slender frame and a small, rounded face. Her large locks of dark brown hair often hide much of her face when she doesn't restrain them in tight braids. Her dark pink lips are plump with a deep cupids bow and a pouty appearance that is as youthful as her small, upturned nose. Perhaps the only thing that isn't small are her dark brown eyes which are lined with dark paints and framed with thick lashes and slender arched brows. She doesn't have any scars, but her dark skin is often speckled in sun spots from her hours of travelling across the deadzone, offering aid to nomads. Sometimes it's reddish in color and cracked with dry patches from sun burns. She tries to shelter herself though. Her style vary, depending on where she is. When travelling, she is often covered to protect herself against the elements, but when she is at home or in Polis she is normally in dresses that her mother made back at home.
.:Height:. 5'4
.:Portrayed by:. Jessica Parker Kennedy

.:Personality:. Talulah has a heart too big for this world that bleeds for all. It's a risky thing being so open minded in a place where you're more likely get your heart ripped out for having an open heart to begin with. She feels for others with an empathetic outlook that has always been a mental plague for her. Those in the village where she grew adored her, as she was always kind to them, but she was so troubled by the idea of death and suffering that she wouldn't even eat fish and meat that was hunted. Instead, she would only eat that which grew from the ground and could not suffer the pain of execution. Blood must have blood has always been a difficult, but understandable concept as long as she isn't the one drawing the blood. Nobody has ever done her wrong enough for her to demand tribute. Because of this, she was never a warrior like her younger brother. Instead, she trained as a healer. Healing is everything to Talulah; so much so that she expanded her borders and travels to places where she is needed most. Her work is everything to her.
.:Special Skills:. Healing is about more than just skin with a bandage. Talulah has spent her life studying the effects of special herbs, flowers, tonics and various medicines to cure many ailments and relieve symptoms. She's not strong, physically, and she doesn't know much about fighting beyond what she needs to deffend herself but she is a talented healer to more than just her people.

.:Birthplace:. Podakru Village
.:Family:. Talulah's mother is a tailor and leather worker for Podakru and her father is a warrior. She has a younger brother who is also a warrior, and though she had a sister, she fell to a fever when Talulah was very young. Her death inspired Talulah's medicinal studies.
.:Occupation:. Travelling Healer
.:History:. Talulah was born into a warm, loving and supportive family. Such a home was not often a blessing that others were given, and Talulah has always known this. She's always respected her parents for nurturing her kind spirit and raising her up, even when she didn't agree with many things a warrior must do. She shadowed her mother for most of her childhood and was there for the birth of two younger siblings. Her sister came first and was the first to go. When she was only two, she passed away when a fever struck their village. Many died, but most were children. Talulah never caught the sickness. She missed her little sister dearly and never let her death go. When her mother grew ill with the same fever, Talulah never left her side and worked around the clock to keep the fever down with cool waters from the lake and damp cloths. Such acts weren't unheard of, but the healer in their village did not have time to stay by everyone's bedsides. Her mother pulled through and later gave birth to a baby boy, who Talulah was very protective over. She vowed that she would never again lose a sibling to anything; not hunger, illness or even a warrior's death. Of course, not everything is in her control.
She started to study healing when she was only seven years old and worked beside the village healer. Talulah's potential was immense and soon, she learned all she could from their healer and moved on to her own studies. She went to Trikru villages and other Podakru villages to heal those who needed it. Her specialties were with illnesses rather than injuries. Infections as well. This gave her a reputation, and when she was sixteen, riders came for her from Polis. A fever, not unlike the kind they faced whenever the seasons would change had hit Polis and four natblida children had fallen ill. Natural selection was common, but there were so few that they were seeking aid. She rode to Polis and cared for the children. Their fever was so advanced, she didn't think that she would be able to save them; but she did. All three children pulled through with help from her herbs and cool waters. It made her realize that people needed her beyond her own people-- though they were always her priority.
After some time, she left her village with a horse and cart to study medicine beyond what her village could offer her, though she always came back. She made sure to return often enough to lend her aid, but she could never be tied down for long. She traveled all the way to the dead zone to azgeda; lending her aid wherever she was needed despite political turmoil. She would hire bodyguards to keep her safe during her travels, knowing that she alone could not assure her safety. However, when they one day returned to Polis, everything had changed. The streets were dead, the guards and citizens banded together and tortured those who resisted the new commander's demand to take 'the flame'... the entire situation was volotile. The mercenaries that Talulah hired took the flame without question, and beat Talulah until she followed suite. So many people were injured... she was promised that she could care for those who had been tortured if she took the flame... but when she did she no longer cared. She was brought to a place; a beautiful place where there was no need for healers... no pain, no desperation, no need to resist...
There, she reunited with an old friend from her village, and together they started a new life.... but it was brief. The beauty of this pain free world was crushed by reality before anyone could really enjoy the freedom it gave... Now, Talulah is staying in Polis where she is caring for the injured, the infections and the aftermath of Ontari and the flame. Her mental state is shaken--- as every pain, emotional and physical is now somehow sharper... even though she is glad to be free, the pain free life that she was offered has left a bitter taste in her mouth.
