This girl here has way too few threads and she desperately needs to meet someone. It could either be a Grounder or an Arker, since she's quite curious about the new people on Earth. Hit me with anything, I'm open to pretty much anything

Sidonia kept her crouch-like position with her dagger in her hand as she stood a few metres from the trapped man. She'd had so many hours of combat training with grown men and women from her village and with other children. But this was a real life enemy standing in front of her, it wasn't just a training session. Still, he was immobile and unable to fight back as he was caught inside the trap. Doubt still crept into her mind when he told her he'd been banished. But Kay had told her not to trust anyone except him and surely not Azgeda, even if this particular one had been banished. Even if he didn't belong to his people anymore, what would keep him from turning on her as soon as she had released him? He could still hurt her and her brother and take the few belongings they had. Especially if he had to fend for himself just as the siblings did, he needed all the food and tools he could find and the children's small stash could be useful to him.„Why should I believe you? You'll kill me once I've freed you!“ , she said with a trembling voice and took a step towards him, her weapon still held ready for an attack.

The big city still intimidated Sidonia and she felt like she would never get use to its busy streets. She had never seen so many people in one place and almost regretted volunteering when the Chief of her town had been looking for people who were willing to sell some goods at the market of Polis. Nevertheless, she still believed in her intitial dream of going on a big adventure, although she'd quickly realized that she had romantizised the capital, there was definitely more filth in the streets than she'd imagined. There also seemed to be a lot of fowl characters roaming the streets, she thought as she noticed men following her with lustfull glares, some even stepping up to her stand as she was putting her goods up for display – clay pots and jewellery and some breads and other edibles her village had been able to spare. But the stranger standing in front of her now didn't seem interested in any of that as he was scanning her figure with a grin, his tongue flicking over his lips, making Sidonia uncomfortable.„How much for a bit of fun with you?“ , he asked her, his voice sounding sleazy as he still had that grin on his face. The girl wanted to cast her gaze down to her merchandise, but she wanted to seem confident and looked at the man with stern eyes, but struggled to keep her voice firm.„I'm only selling food and the other items you can see here.“ , she responded and busied herself with positioning a stack of clay plates on the table. The man's hand shot forward and grabbed her by the wrist. Sidonia bit her bottom lip as the stranger was holding on to her painfully tight, but then her eyes fell on a boy who seemed to be watching the scene. His appearance suggested that he belonged to the Skaikru, the people new to their world and she managed to put a smile on her face as she looked at him.„Hey you! Boy! Do you want to try some of these?“ , she called out to him, her voice shaking a little, and held a bunch of grapes up for him to see with her free hand. Sure, she'd been taught how to fight, but the man in front of her looked like he was from Polaris and with her being an outsider, the people around her would surely be more loyal to him than her if a fight was to break out.Tag: @macallan

Sidonia jumped and felt her heart hammer against her chest like a bird trapped in a cage. Where just moments ago, there'd only been the peaceful sounds of the forest, she heard a distinct yell, seemingly directed at her. The voice sounded masculin, but it definitely wasn't her brother. It was strange, because she hadn't heard a human voice other than her brother's for so long. She crouched a little, making herself as small as possible as she approached the direction the cry of help had come from. Her wide eyes, bright with fear and curiosity, scanned the trees and bushes surrounding her but she couldn't detect anything out of the ordinary at first.
After passing an especially tall bush, her eyes fell upon the source of the yelling and she nearly let out a shriek of her own. Her heart beat even faster as she took in the trapped man's appearance, which looked almost exactly the same as the Azgeda warriors who had slaughtered her parents. Despite her fear, Sidonia stepped a little closer, feeling braver knowing that the man could hardly move. She stared at him, the colour of her wide eyes more striking with her face being so filthy, her clothes ripped and as dirty as the rest of her. Her brown eyes pooled with tears as she approached the stranger, who reminded her so much of the day her parents were killed and somehow she thought that he must be one of the warriors who burned her village and murdered her people. She drew the small dagger her father had once given her from its sheath and gritted her teeth as she got closer to the man, her hands trembling.„You're a killer!“, she snarled at him, her whole body shaking with anger, grief and fear.Tag: ash

Sidonia tried her best, she knew they had to be quiet. Kay had told her that the Azgeda could still be around these parts of the woods, even though it had been weeks since their village had been attacked. She tried everything she could, but she just couldn't fight against the nightmares that came to her every night, causing her to wake up screaming, making her brother curse and press his hand to her mouth. He could never stay mad at her for long though, barely holding back his own tears. The first few times he'd slapped her because he's been so angry at her and frightened that she might alert everyone close enough to their presence. After a while, he'd just moved on to holding her close as she sobbed, cursing a little under his breath as he did so. She knew he was just scared that the warriors would come back to finish their job and kill them too, he wanted to protect her.
She missed her mother and father, but she just wished the memories of their dead corpses, covered in blood and wide eyes empty as they stared at her, wouldn't come to visit her every night. She began to sleep less and less in order to pose a smaller risk of exposing them and also because she simply couldn't. Just as almost every day before, she got up as soon as there was enough light to see everything clearly in her path so she wouldn't trip over branches and rocks. The girl always made sure not to stray too far from her brother as she roamed the forest, collecting berries and other edibles nature offered them. This was the closest she could come to feeling peaceful since she'd watched her parents being slaughtered. The quiet of the woods surrounding her, the only sounds those of the animals enhabiting the same space as her and of her feet shuffling over the ground.

| ~ • ~ | Character Basics | ~ • ~ | .:Name:. Sidonia .:Nick Name:. Sid .:Affiliation:. Grounder .:Age:. 16
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ | .:Physical Appearance:. Sidonia's most prominent feature is her long, flaming red hair that she wears mostly lose or braided. Combined with the freckles sprinkling her face, she's easily picked out of a crowd and her people always told her that her appearance would have been a curse had she strived to be a warrior. .:Height:. 1.72m .:Portrayed by:. Luca Hollestelle
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ | .:Personality:. Sisonia could be described as wary of everyone. She learned early on that she should never put her trust in anyone, no matter how close she is to them, except for her brother. Having lived in the woods with her brother as the only human around her, she often behaves like a wild animal – not ferral but like a shy deer only thinking about survival. She's not very talkative either, often going days without speaking to anyone but her brother.
.:Special Skills:. The young girl knows every plant that grows in the fields and woods surrounding her village. She helps growing the food for the village she lives in. Sid is also a good archer, but only uses her skills to hunt animals for their meat. She's generally very good with animals, especially with horses.
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ | .:Birthplace:. Small Trikru village .:Family:. Mother: Alegra – killed by Azgeda warriors Father: Thorgal – killed by Azgeda warriors Brother: Kay
.:Occupation:. huntress, merchant, farmer .:History:. Sidonia was born as the second child and only daughter to her parents. Her father had hoped for another son and he and the girl had a difficult relationship during her childhood. As a little girl, she was always very trusting and open, running around the village and talking to anyone and everyone. Her laugh was always infectious and she made people happy. The person she was closest to was her older brother Kay. He has always been the typical big brother, teasing her occasionally but always overprotective, growling if you as much as looked at her the wrong way.
Their relationship only intensified after a fatal turning-point in their lives. Their small village of barely more than ten huts was closer to Azgeda territory than most Trikru settlements and theirs was the first to be attacked as part of a mission to enlarge Azgeda land. Kay was eleven and Sidonia six years old and their parents had tried to prepare them as best as they could in case of such an event. They built a small crawl-space into their, just big enough for the two children to hide in. Kay tried to shield his sister's view when the warriors invaded their home, but she could still se them killing their parents through a peephole and they both heard the screams of the other villagers being slaughtered. They were so scared that they stayed inside the small space for more than a day. Everything was eerily quiet when they finally dared to leave their hiding place, except for the sounds of crows flying around. The home they once knew didn't exist anymore, everything was devastated and nothing more than rubble.
The siblings stayed close to the remnants of their village for a while, salvaging the food the warriors hadn't stolen or destroyed. Sidonia would sneak away to lie down between the corpses of her parents from time to time, but once Kay caught her doing so, he decided they should move on and leave their home behind. They had never strayed far from their village but they had been taught how to survive out in the wild. Kay did hist best to teach his sister what she'd been too young to learn. They lived like this for almost two years and were closer to wild animals than children when they were finally found by Scouts from another Grounder village, emanciated and shying away from human contact.
The people of their new village were good to them and Kay eventuallt accepted them as his new family, but Sidonia could never let go of the memory of her parents' murder or of the child she had become living in the wilderness. Recently, she takes more and more chances to sneak up close to the Skikru's territory and watch them, feeling curious about the foreigners and their way of life.
