Sidonia had left her village armed with a bow an arrow and her trusted leather bag under the cover of going hunting and collecting, which she did most days anyway so noone should be suspicious. She did collect and kill what came across her path, but her main destination was the Skaikru camp about three hours walk from her village. The Chief and his warriors as well as most of the rest of her people had been alarmed and angered by the arrival of the newcomers, but had kept their distance so far, impressed by their advanced weaponry. Sid wouldn't have said so out loud, surely not in front of Kay who'd probably lock her inside her hut if he knew where she'd been going in her spare time, but she was quite intrigued by those humans who'd fallen from the sky. All about them, from their attire to their hairstyles and their speech was so foreign to her which made her all the more curious. She'd made an effort to learn some of their language since it would be handy for the next time she would go trading in Polis, using that as an excuse when asked about her motives to learn their tongue.
She knew she was getting closer to Arkadia as they'd called their camp, when the light shining through the trees became brighter and the space between the tree trunks wider. Once she'd reached the bushes acting like a fence at the edge of the treeline, she could see the huge metal construction that still gave her goosebumps whenever she saw it. She'd almost got caught on one of her visits and even though it was dangerous, that kind of added another thrill to her lone adventures. She got into a crouch behind the shrubs, only her eyes and bright red hair sticking out into view. Most of the action was going on inside the limits of their guarded fence, but the girl's eyes suddenly landed on a figure closer to her than any of the other Arkers. She focused on the young man who seemed to be about her own age and drew in a sharp breath when her gaze wandered over his features. He looked so different from all the young men she'd seen during most of her life, which made him all the more interesting to her and she couldn't tear her eyes off of him.
