| FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM FIGHT OFF THE DEMONS THAT MADE US |
Immediately Leo was suspicious as Aurora opened the door just enough to peek out from behind it. Needless to say, it made him worry all the more. He kept his eyes on her and tried to figure it out. Why would she hide something from him if she was in trouble? One by one he ruled out possibilities based solely on the fact that she didn’t open the door and welcome him inside. Nothing had gone missing that he was aware of. Aurora had nothing to do with the black market. She was a seamstress, not a dealer of any kind. If she was sick then she would have gone to medical as long as it wasn’t bad enough. She was beautiful of course, but besides the usual pale skin from lack of decent nutrition and the thin frame nothing gave off any indication of illness. She could have been hiding somebody...
“I haven’t seen you in weeks...” he said gently as he leaned against the wall. Subtly, he was looking behind her in what little of the apartment he could see. Still no indication of anything wrong. Instead he looked back at her while also wondering if Bellamy would know what was wrong. Though a brilliant child, it’d probably be easier getting information from him. That was a malicious thought though, considering that the intentions behind it weren’t malicious at all. He just wanted to help a friend, even if that meant risking getting floated. Bell needed his mother. Leo needed his friend. “Something’s wrong... right? Tell me what’s going on. I want to help Aurora... I’m worried about you.” He stood up straight when he decided he wasn’t going to learn anything from that angle. “If you’re in trouble I won’t say anything.”

| FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM FIGHT OFF THE DEMONS THAT MADE US |
Aurora Blake had been a close friend of Leo's since they were children. He even cared for her son time to time. Bellamy and Elena, his daughter, got along well considering their ages. It was strange going so long without seeing Aurora happening around the ark. Leo spent most of his daylight hours in the factories, overseeing work orders and keeping things moving. Still, after work he was used to running into the woman. It had been two weeks though... Two weeks with no contact, no run ins. He saw Bellamy and would ask how she was, but his answers were vague. It worried Leo. What could possibly be wrong with Aurora? He was worried she had done something-- but surely if she had, they would have heard about it before now.
Leo left Elena with her grandmother today after work to make the trip to Aurora's apartment. He just wanted to make sure she was alright. If she wasn't, she would find a way to help her. If he could. Slowly he knocked on her door after a moment of hesitation. "Aurora?" He called lightly. "It's me. You in there?" If she was hiding from the world she didn't need to answer... but he couldn't imagine what she could be hiding. Or what could be keeping her locked up and out of the public eye. Her work didn't require her to be anywhere specific, but that didn't mean she chose to be alone always... he was worried.

| ~ • ~ | Character Basics | ~ • ~ | .:Name:. Leo James Tanner .:Nick Name:. Nine .:Affiliation:. Camp Jaha/Arkadia .:Age:. Forty-Three | ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ | .:Physical Appearance:. Leo has an athletic build which he gained from countless hours of manual labor in factory station. Though he is tall, he doesn’t have an intentionally intimidating stance—unless he has reason to be. The man keeps his head shaved and his facial hair trimmed and manageable as he always has. It frames his widest jaw with a darker shadow. His almond shaped eyes are so dark they appear black in color and shallow when not in the light. He keeps his clothing simple; wearing a grey top and loose fitted pants from the ark. Keeping it light helps him as he works around Arkada. .:Height:. 6'2 .:Portrayed by:. Shemar Moore | ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ | .:Personality:. Leo is kind, selfless and protective. Though he may always be busy with a project or a work order, there has never been a time where he’s rejected the opportunity to help a friend in need. He has a pacifistic nature about him that some wouldn’t expect. On the ark, he was a supervisor in factory station and did his best to keep everybody looked after. It was hard to work when you were underfed or thirsty, and he did his best to do what the chancellors of that time could not. This need to protect bled into his personal life as well, on the Ark and on the ground. Despite landing in farm station and going through countless Azgeda attacks, he still managed to cling to his core beliefs and pacifist nature. .:Special Skills:. Though he worked in factory station, Leo is a great repairman and has a knack for figuring out what makes something tick—or in most cases, stop ticking. He’s not particularly skilled in combat, but he does what he needs to do. His true skills lie in his ability to negotiate with and care for others. | ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ | .:Birthplace:. The Ark .:Family:. Leo has one daughter named Elena who came down with the delinquents. She is still alive. His parents and Elena's mother however are gone. .:Occupation:. Maintenance .:History:. Leo was born to two factory workers. He learned the trades when he was young and was very good at repurposing older wares and improving them. Though he always wanted to be a mechanic, his parents pushed him towards factory work so that he could learn the trades same as them. They could teach him more that way, which at the time was important to them. The boy was young when he started working in the factory station, but his nimble fingers helped him with more detailed work. As he grew up, his charismatic nature helped him climb ranks and eventually he became the supervisor of his department. In this time, he had a relationship with a young woman who worked in his department. They married when Leo was thirty years old and soon after had a child together. Unfortunately, his wife didn't survive the labor and his child Elena had to be removed surgically. It was traumatic, but there was never a time that Leo held any resentment against Elena or even the ark for his wife's death. Though emotional, he understood the risks that came with childbirth and the resources that the ark could spare. He raised Elena as well as he was able. However, when she was six years old she was caught stealing deserts from a unity day meal. It was such a childish thing to do, but because she was caught she was arrested. Leo tried everything to get her out of the arrest... It wasn't fair in his eyes to punish a child for stealing something so trivial. It didn't matter though; and Elena spent the rest of her childhood in prison with very limited visitation. Since it happened, Leo's only seen his child once every year on her birthday. Since she was sent down with the dropship, he hopes to be reunited-- however after landing in Farm Station and surviving countless attacks from Azgeda that hope has been rung through. | ~ • ~ | Member Info | ~ • ~ | .:Name or Online Alias:.
