.:Name:. Leilah .:Nick Name:. Lei .:Affiliation:. The Trikru .:Age:. 18
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Her long brown hair frames her tanned heart-constructed face, she has well defined eyebrows that rest above her mesmerizing almond shaped eyes with chocolate brown orbs that many may find innocent but mischievous and unwavering. Leilah was blessed with high cheek bones and her lips are usually a neutral shade of dark pink. Thanks to her training, Leilah's body is in a good shape. Although unlike other warriors in her village, her muscles are not as defined as theirs due to her lack of training after she'd taken interest in healing. She doesn't wear as much as her people, nor does she wear much less than they do, but she merely sees no point in her wearing armory when she no longer fights like she used to unless she steps outside her village. However, she likes to cover her cheekbones and nose bridge with black inc almost everyday .:Height:. 5'6 .:Portrayed by:. Nina Dobrev

.:Personality:. Before the skikru’s landing, Leilah was a rather bright girl. Well, as bright as a grounder could be at least. She was and still is understanding and open-minded. However, she can also be quite naive when it comes to certain things. Like most grounders, Lei was raised to be fierce and tough. But she also inherited her father’s big heart, showing compassion for the outsiders who have been wronged in any way, and for anyone who is different. Leilah can be very opinionated and blunt, but she tries her best to deliver her negative thoughts in an appropriate way. Those who knew her parents well, though, would say that Leilah is very unlike them when it comes to her stubbornness and determination. She rarely lets anyone get in the way of her goals or change her mind. The only who had ever been able to waver her decision was her brother. Like most grounders, Leilah has always been mature and just like a typical grounder, she expresses potential for hand-to-hand combat, but more aiding people in whichever way she’s needed. .:Special Skills:. Hand-to-hand combat, basic healing, fast-learner.

.:Birthplace:. Earth .:Family:. Hephtus (Brother, deceased) Aleyna (Mother, M.I.A) Eli (Father, deceased) .:Occupation:. Nothing at the moment. .:History:. Born and raised within the Trikru clan, Leilah never had any trouble adapting to their lifestyle. Her father was a warrior, one with a soft heart though, who despite his dismay of having a daughter as a first born trained Leilah in hand to hand combat, against her mother's wishes. Leilah enjoyed having both of her parents attention as an only child. But she loved being a sister more. Gratefully, the birth of her brother unexpectedly took place in the woods a month earlier than planned, the pro in this was the simple fact that nobody but Leilah and her father witnessed this miracle who soon became what their people would call a stain of bloodline. As a mother, Aleyna could not bare the thought of leaving her child to die, and Eli whom had always wished to someday have a son saw passed this ‘stain’ and saw his son for what he actually was; a blessing to the family. The three of them loved Hephtus equally and hid his disfigured limb as well as possible.
Leilah was the one who had to train her brother in hand to hand combat, hidden away from plain sight where her brother’s limb couldn't be exposed. Despite the seven years age gap, Lei and Hephtus grew extremely close to one another, and she believed there was nothing better for her out there than to keep her brother company, given the extreme risks can caution he had to take when interacting with other villagers. Even after the landing of the delinquents, Leilah only paid attention to her younger brother. He was mature and adventurous for his age, just like she had been when she was younger and they always got along. However, not all good things were meant to last forever.
For days, Eli and Aleyna seemed distant and rather devastated. Though neither of them would inform Lei of their encounter with one of the villagers who had found out about Hephtus disfigured limb. Instead, Eli took Leilah out one morning to improve her skills in weapon combat. Unbeknownst to her, that was all a distraction because as soon as they returned to their village, Leilah had just caught her mother crying over the corpse of her brother. In pure desperation, the girl ran over to them, shaking his body with all her might, hoping--wishing that, that moment was nothing but a dream. Despite her effort, she was too late. But that was the moment Leilah had first expressed her potential for healing people and desire to save them.
Upon finding out the truth, to say she was furious with her parents would be an understatement. She was disgusted by both of them, despite their best effort of trying to explain how he would have been left in the woods to die if her mother hadn’t done what she did. But she barely had time to mourn her brother for her people were already at war with the sky people. Although, Leilah personally did not have anything against them. Even when the bombing on the bridge had been the demise of her father. She saw them just the way she had seen her brother; they were no different than them, they were human beings and she couldn’t hold their birthplace against them, just like she couldn’t hold her brother’s limb against him. They were born that way, and she believed that they shouldn’t suffer because of it, even though her father had clearly expressed the opposite of her thoughts towards the sky people when he left to attack them. After that explosion, her mother left the village to seek for the city of light. Her attempts at convincing Leilah to go with her failed miserably; if anything, Lei was glad to be rid of her mother after what she had done to her brother, her love for the woman who had given birth to her set aside and locked away in a closet.
For the following days, Leilah had spent most of her time offering her aid to the healer of her village; wanting to someday be able to help people the same way he was able to, learning more every day she spent watching him doing his job. When the massacre of her village had taken place, Lei had been sent away to retrieve herbs to be used as an antidote to the poison her people used against their enemies in their defense. When she came back, all she was met by was mayhem and the scene brought back memories she had been trying to erase. Due to that, Leilah just like the other villagers wanted blood to answer blood. And when justice had been served, Leilah admired the blonde sky girl’s mercy for the one who had fired the shots which killed several unarmed grounders. Upon the announcement of the truce between the trikru and the skikru, Leilah was actually thrilled. She wanted to learn more of these people and their technology. But most of all, she was glad that she wouldn’t be considered somewhat a traitor for caring for the sky people.
