Raven sighed. She was going to have to learn to work with Bellamy whether she liked it or not and while she still felt that anger, it was time to set it aside for now. For all their sakes. She wasn't letting it go completely, but keeping up the animosity between them would only slow then down in this war with the grounders. And here, that meant death. She couldn't very well help him if every time she saw his face, the urge to kill him or at least give him a damn good punch to the face overwhelmed her. If that meant setting aside their differences for now then so be it. She'd kick his ass after they win this war. If they win it. God knows someone needed to, she thought wryly.
"And it looks like it's working." She paused and rolled her eyes at the bullet she was inspecting. But instead of feeling anger directed at Bellamy she felt something more akin to irritation. Well at least it was a step up. Raven held her hand out for the blade and only turned to look at him when he spoke. "Very funny," she said, sarcasm obvious in her tone and grabbing the knife off him. It wasn't ideal, not even in the same league as the tools she had on the ark. But it would do. "You should come to training as well." Training with guns, to learn how to kill grounders. Finn would be thrilled. But she was already making the bullets, she might as well try her hand at firing them. In for a penny. “Aren’t you afraid I’ll show you up?” She asked mockingly, again referring to his “lousy shot” although it was much less malicious this time. “You wouldn’t want me to embarrass you in front of your loyal subjects.” Raven wasn’t exactly an amazing shot either, but she knew her way around a gun, at least in the mechanical sense. And that was enough right?

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy didn't fail to notice that her tone had changed; that it was less hostile. Despite her mocking words, it was at least a shift from the enraged anger to well, whatever the tone was now. He knew she was teasing, but he decided to answer with blunt honesty. "No." It was as simple as that. "You got your skills, Reyes. I have mine." He was hardly afraid that she would be able to show him up during training, even though she was the only other adult -- apart from whomever turned 18 since arriving on the ground.
Most of the delinquents hadn't even held a gun before. "If you try, the only person you'll be embarrassing is yourself." Not really a warning, but perhaps a mocking tease in return . . . claiming that if she tried to show him up, she would be disappointed by the failed attempt. "If you don't want to come, don't. I'm just saying that it'll do you some good." He could see her as being a decent shot, having an understanding of the mechanics behind a gun. But Bellamy was not going to force anyone to take on that role of a gunman, or encourage them to practice cause you never knew when it could come in handy. You never knew when firing a bullet could just happen to save your life.

She rolled her eyes at the bluntness of his response. He was arrogant, that was for sure. But then she couldn’t fault him for that without being a hypocrite. And if he was offering to teach she couldn’t pass up the opportunity. He was probably the only one on the ground with any actual experience with using the weapons. She just needed to swallow her pride and accept the offer. Which was of course easier said than done in her case. Especially when it came to Bellamy. Hadn’t they been this close to killing each other not too long ago?
“Okay, okay fine.” She said holing up her hands. “Since you asked so nicely,” she added sarcastically. She actually felt…excited? At the thought of practicing with the weapons. It wasn’t exactly a daily occurrence on the ark. Sure she’d handled weapons before, fired them to test whether they worked or not. But actually using them for combat? To kill? That would be a whole different experience and one that the more Raven thought about it, she was eager to try out. That should probably worry her. “I’ll have enough bullets ready by then.” Things were looking up. Though on the ground expectations were extremely low. But even the tension in the room was beginning to lift. She still felt some bitterness directed at Bellamy but the task at hand and the subject change was slowly forcing that to ebb away. “You really think you can get them ready in time though?” For the inevitable grounder attack. It was a pessimistic question but she had to be realistic. Her tone wasn’t malicious, but genuine. Which she certainly wasn’t used to when it came to Bellamy.
