whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy had departed the camp with no intention of going back. As soon as the Ark came down, they were going to kill him. If not for what he did to Jaha, then most certainly for him being responsible for killing over 300 people but pulling out the radio. He was now feeling the burden of guilt over that. He had come down here for Octavia, but it was clear that she didn't need him. Hell, she hated him. He couldn't even blame her. She blamed him for getting mom floated and well, she was right. Despite what he said to her . . . she was right. He was the reason their mother was floated and he wsa the reason Octavia had been arrested. He couldn't bare to see the hatred she felt for him every day.
So with all those reasons combined, he needed to leave. He didn't take a gun with him, knowing that the others would need them more than he would. He had only a blade and his axe to defend himself with. Perhaps he would go back, eventually. But now was not that time. He'd managed to slip away before Clarke noticed, and was well aware that she would understand when he'd basically disappeared. He'd taken the extra rations -- which she already picked up on -- and now, she would know why he left. He wasn't entirely without direction however. The Grounder that he had met -- Echo -- had told him she was from the Ice Nation, which was North. So that was exactly where he was going to go. He was heading North and hoped that he could find something there to keep him grounded for a little while. He needed time away from the delinquents, away from the authority of the Ark. And this really, was the best . . . or rather, only place that he could get it.

Echo bit into the apple, and watched Bellamy walking through the woods. He was caring things with him, so she knew he was going somewhere far. At first she was going to let him go, but he was heading north--toward the mountain. So instead of watching the others like she was ordered to do, she followed him. She could gather information on them later, she wanted to know what he was doing. He was their leader, so for him to leave the pack he must have an important goal in mind. Something only he could do and he had to do it alone. This intruded her.
She had warned them before about not going to the mountain, but he was walking toward it's hunting grounds. Even if he got past that . . . the only thing north was her people and ice. There was more south. Where was he going? And why? Sky People made no sense.
She followed him until dark, and waited for him to settle for the night, before she approached. Her steps were silent as she pulled the blade from her boot and came up behind him. When she was only a foot from him, she jumped forward to land directly behind him, and wrap her free hand in his hair, pulling him back to her, while her blade touched his neck. "I could kill you now," She warned, in a tone that was quite, dangerous, and only slightly torn between taunting and teasing. Her hands fell away as she moved back, knowing he wasn't one to go down fighting. When he turned to look at her, she watched him. "Sky Person." A greeting rather then an insult.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy had lost track of time . . . and perhaps his sanity, because every so often, he could have sworn that someone was following him. But every time he turned around to see, there was nothing or no one. He wasn't overly afraid. Death was a release; a release of the burden of guilt he carried with him. While he was in no way suicidal, and didn't want to die . . . he wasn't afraid of it. Not anymore. No one was depending on him, no one needed him to live. He could die and everything would just go on as it was. He supposed there was an irony in that thought, considering he was fleeing the camp to avoid death by the Arkers. And at the same time . . . he refused to let the same bastards that floated his mom, kill him too for his crime.
Bellamy decided to rest when the sun had fully set and darkness was around him. The air wasn't too cold so there was no point making a fire. He lowered his bag to the ground, about to pull out one of the rations he had taken when he suddenly felt someone grab him from behind, the cold metal of a blade pressed against his neck. The touch was unfamiliar, but he immediately recognized the voice which eased any of the potential threat. She didn't let it linger for long as he released him and stepped back.
He casually turned to look at her, not as defensive as he would have been had it been an actual threat. Then again, he doubted his opponent wouldn't have released their hold on him so easily had that been the case. "You could try," he said arrogantly, not amused by her little stunt, but nor was he offended. He had after all been going North in the hopes of seeing her. She just made this a hell of a lot easier. "How long have you been following me?" He inquired, knowing that this couldn't have been a coincidence.

She ignored his taunt, knowing full well she could have if she wanted too. Let him think that he could survive her attack if she had wanted to kill him. Which she didn't. At least, not right now. Once she was sure he wasn't going to counter attack her, she stepped around him toward his bag. Reaching out with her foot, keeping her body away from him, she pulled his bag toward her, and then bent to look in it. She kept her body up right however, not about to let him get the upper hand.
Which he would have if she answered his question. The last thing she wanted him to do was go back to his people and tell them the . . . . what did they call her people . . . the grounders were watching them, still. Instead she looked in his bag, an at his food before making a face of displeasure, and pushing it away. How did they live off these types of food--and so little. Where was the meat? The apples? "You are heading far?" She asked instead of answering.
She also noticed he was packed for travel. Which meant he was going somewhere, and she wanted to know why he headed toward the mountain. Her eyes ranked over him, taking in his clothing and his weapons . . . . "No gun?" He was feeling brave going out without it. She had not seen him do that before.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT He suppressed an eye roll when she started peering into his bag, trying to see what was there. He really didn't have anything to hide. Besides, he imagined that if she was supposed to be some sort of disstraction for an ambush . . . they sure as hell would have come by now. She didn't answer his own question, clearly evading it as she then asked whether he was heading far. "Maybe," he shrugged off non chalanty. "Why don't you just keep following me and find out," he retorted. His tone wasn't overly rude, but rather, blunt teasing. Her next question was one that caused him concern, though he remained stoic. She knew about the guns? He had left Clarke in the bunker with the guns, as they had just recently discovered them. Was that how long she'd been following him?
She now knew of the guns they had discovered? Was it just her or her people too? Was Clarke in danger? Had she been attacked? It was then that he quickly recalled, he'd had one gun; that single hand gun. Perhaps she was referring to that. He decided to remain composed, not wanting to give anything away. Even if she wasn't the most threatening Grounder, he wasn't about to put any loyalty to the test. After all, she had more reason to be loyal to her own people than to his. "Not this time," he answred simply. Also not wanting to reveal that the handgun had run out of bullets. Hopefully Raven could help with that. "What are you doing here anyway? You couldn't just be out here for me," he stated, feigned and mocking flattery in his already sarcastic tone.

Not this time? She wondered why he had not gone out with out the gun this time. Yet she knew how this game was played. They were not telling the other one anything, and in the end they were talking to much. Echo watched him for a long moment, not saying anything to any of his words. Then she tilted her head, and decided to try to get more out of him, and the key to this seemed to be using more of his words.
"I saw you earlier, and wanted to know were you were going." There, she had answered it without using details. Maybe that would get him talking, which lead to her getting information. She looked at his bag, then at him. "You seem to be going somewhere far." And Sky People didn't travel away from their walls. "Why no gun today?" That part she was fixed on. Sky People didn't exactly like going out without that weapon.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Her answer of 'saw him earlier' was vague . . . but also telling. For he figured if she'd been following him since the bunker, she may have more questions. She then suggested that he was going somewhere far, based on the rations he had taken. He continued to be silent. Even when the gun subject was broached once again. "You're really missing my gun, aren't you?" He asked, once again with sarcasm but not rudeness. He decided to get a bit more comfortable, settling down on the ground, his back against the tree.
"I don't need it," he answered simply. Not only was it useless with the lack of bullets, but it would also eventually run out. And then what? He'd just have a bulletness gun to lug around as extra weight. She had pointed out that he was going somewhere far and decided there was no point in trying to hide it. It would only be a matter of time before she figured it out. "I thought about heading North," he told her, looking at her face to see what expression he saw -- though she tended to be just as guarded as he was with his emotions. Until recently, where he had really let them pour out after having a few bad nuts.

Echo frowned at his words for a moment, before she began to understand his tone. The Sky People sometimes said things they thought were funny, and the words meant little to her. Still, it was his tone she reacted too, not the words, so she cracked a half smile, before telling him; "Surprised you are not hiding behind it." She tired to match his tone to reply the same humor in the words. It was something she didn't understand, but Echo was resourceful, and could mimic things well.
Then he spoke of going north, and Echo's smile faded. "I warned you of the mountain before, Sky Person, and yet even knowing it holds nothing but death for you, you go there?" Where else could he be going? The only things North were the Mountain, Ice Nation lands, and . . . . ice. Even if he went past--GOT PASSED--the mountain, then he would end up in her people's land and they did not take kindly to strangers. AND should he someone manage to have become the best warrior there was and got passed her clan there was nothing but ice past that! "I thought you of all the Sky People, were smarter then that." She was disappointed in him. He held promise to be something more then an idiot, but now she doubted it.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Hiding behind a gun. Her people clearly didn't like their weapon choice, but to the Arkers, it was what they knew. Still, he didn't have the strength to debate it. It came down to cultural differences. They preferred to remain primitive with their spears and bows; his people had guns and bullets. Both groups were skilled with their own weapons. She then spoke of the Mountain Men, clearly wondering why he was going there. But then she said that she thought he was smarter than that . . . and her words did not hold sarcasm or any suggestion that she was teasing. Truth be told, Bellamy didn't have the patience to be told of how he wasn't being smart. He had just begged a ghost to kill him because he deserved it. He had left his sister, knowing she hated him.
The last thing he was able to do was handle someone else expressing what, disappointment in him? Who the hell was he? Why was he suddenly placed on some sort of pedestal? "Why don't you just go," he stated, his voice blunt. "Cause I don't need to hear this from you right now. So if you plan to stand there and tell me what a dumb ass decision I made, then spare me, and just leave." Truth be told, he didn't want her to. Hell, he was going North for her. To see her. If she left now, if they ended with these terms . . . then he had no idea where he was going to go. And he was going to feel the loss of the rapport that they had built, and one had valued enough to travel North to see her.

He was angry with her now, and Echo wondered why. Something clearly had happened before that she had missed. And the phrase 'dumb ass' was really confusing her, even with the context of what he was using it for. Unless it was literally meaning he was dumb and a ass. That she could see right now. He was clearly mad at something besides her and taking it out on her. This was a trait found in both cultures apparently--but not one she would humor.
Echo pushed to stand, and reached behind her to dust off her butt, before walking over toward him in a very casual manner. Her steps where almost lazy, as she was clearly unaffected by his words--only she was. She was annoyed. Pissed. How dare he yell at her for telling him he was making a mistake! She would have let any of his other people go die--or killed them herself to keep the mountain from getting their hands on them.
She put one foot by his hip and casually swung the other around to his other side, before her actions became swift, direct, and angry. She let herself drop to his lap her feet still supporting most her weight but the rest of it on him; while her right hand fisted into his hair and yanked his head back, and her other hand pulled the blade from her boot and put it on his neck. "Speak to me like that again, Sky Person, and the mountain will no long be a worry for you." She pulled the blade back and pointed it at him, "You were the strongest of them, and and I spoke because I hated to see it wasted in the mountain. If you want to die, then I will spare you the trouble of living . . . but if you are done speaking to me like I was one of your idiot children at your camp, then tell me where you go, and I can tell you a better way to get there."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Her reaction was not one that he expected, but nor was it one that he rejected. He just sat there numbly, as she positioned herself on his lap, and yanking his head back, put the blade to his throat. He didn't even flinch. He kept his eyes locked onto hers. She was . . . what, threatening him? Her actions obviously were but perhaps her words held the same suggestion. He didn't know. He didn't care. "Do it," he said coldly. He deserved it. He deserved death. He was a monster and death was the easiest release from this burden of guilt. He wasn't afraid of dying. His hand went to her wrist that held the blade, his fingers wrapping around it, gripping her wrist tightly as he encouraged the blade against his throat.
"Go ahead." He was taunting her really, showing that he was unafraid of her weapons or threat. She then withdrew the blade and he released his grip on her hand, his arm falling limply back to his side. He felt . . . empty. Defeated. And she spoke to him as he was. She was using past tense to claim that he was the strongest. He wasn't. He had done horrible things. His mother would be ashamed of him. "I was going to see you!" He blurted out, his tone not raised but he knew he had snapped a little. "I was going North because thats where you said you were." Simple as that. And yet, not simple at all. "I don't give a damn about the Mountain Men." They just sounded ridiculous and Bellamy wasn't suicidal depiste his welcoming attitude toward death. "I was going to see you," he repeated, leaning his head back against the trunk of the tree, as it tilted to the side a little, his eyes looking away from her.

His had gripped her wrist and pulled the blade closer to his neck and Echo began to wonder if he did want to die, but then he let her go and admitted something else--as if he was almost shamed of it, he looked away. To see her? That made less sense then going to the mountain did. Clearly he didn't need anything or he would have said so before so why come see her? Had she made some impression on him? She hoped not, because she wasn't looking for someone to attach themselves to her. Still, if she had to pick one of the Sky People it would be him--he had been . . . fordable. And she had gone back to watch him a few times.
He had looked away but she reached up to grip his chin and pull it back to look at her. "You found me," She reminded him, not sure why he had came but knew it was not death he needed. "So take what you came looking for." She challenge before leaning down to kiss him, using her own lips to part his own and deepen it. She dropped her blade and fisted both hands in his hair, holding him tightly to her. "Do it," She returned his own words to him between kissing, "See if you can."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT He was tired of fighting. He'd told the ghost of Jaha the same thing. He was just tired. For most of his life, he was fighting to survive. And he felt like he couldn't do it anymore. So he didn't care if she slit his throat or left him in this moment. He was just done. Yet what she did do was not something he had expected. Then again, he didn't know her well enough to anticipate her actions. He didn't close his eyes, leaving them open to try and make sense of this. But . . . why bother? Why was it necessary to make senese of any of this? She told him to take what he he had been looking for -- though he hadn't been seeking her out for this reason.
He didn't want to see her just so he could engage in such physical relations with her. Now with that being said . . . he wasn't entirely opposed to it now. She had caught him when he was vulnerable. When he needed to feel something other than pain and self loathing. She deepened the kiss, encouraging him to do it. He was tired of over thinking. Hell he didn't even care if there was someone lurking about. He closed his eyes, his fingers tanging in the back of her head througgh her long brown locks. He pressed her closer against him as he encouraged her to deepen the kiss, pushing his tongue into her mouth to allow for his own exploration. His other hand was already moving to her center, not bothering to remove it but rather, slip his hand under the fabric until his fingers brushed against the skin of her core. He wanted to know that he could make someone feel something other than pain. So with that determination in mind, he already slipped a finger inside of her, applying pressure to that singular spot. He wanted to know that his actions didn't only cause pain. That he wasn't a complete monster.

Echo had expected him to toss her to the side and tell her that he had not come looking for that. She knew she came on strong, even for her people, but the Skyman kissed her back and took control really quick! The first she liked, but the second one would need work. Dropping her hand to his, she moved his thumb over her clit before rocking her hips, so he was both pleasuring her and inside her. The other free hand fisted in his hair, as she let him pretend to have his control for a few moments.
Pulling from the kiss, she smiled arrogantly down at him, before both of her hands dropped to grip his manhood from outside his pants. Her eyes lit up at his size, and she grinned slowly. "No wonder they crawled into your bed." She teased before moving to open up his pants so she could see him. Once he was free she reached up and put one hand on the tree behind him, for balance while rocking over his hand, and just watching him down there. Imagining it at work. "Use your hand there." She told him, taking control back from him. "Tell me where you want it. Ask me nicely." She was taunting him now. Either he'd ask, or he'd react how she thought he might and try to take the control from her--thus allow her to play rough.
