whatever THE HELL WE WANT This wasn't good. It wasn't good at all. The plan was not for Bellamy to get stuck in a damn cage and be one of the prisoners within the mountain. But he couldn't do anything to change happened to land him here. All he could focus on was getting out. The Grounder in the cage next to him had asked him a question regarding what he would do once he was out . . . kill everyone in the mountain had been his reply. Little did he know just how true that was. Bellamy continued kick and push at the bars to no avail. Eventually, he ceased, hearing the other Grounders in the cage get riled up.
And that's exactly what they were: all Grounders. He didn't see any of his people in here which was a good sign he supposed. But nor did he miss the two bodies hanging upside, attached to tubes that were currently draining out their blood. It was sickening. Revolting. And right now, he couldn't do anything about it. He leaned back against the bars, trying to formulate some sort of plan that was actually productive rather than just try to kick himself free -- which clearly wasn't working.
"We have an alliance with the Woods Clan, under the command of Lexa." The Grounder next to him had spit in his face and he had told her that they weren't enemies any more. Now, he needed to explain that. "There's a plan, to get your people and mine out of Mount Weather. But I can't do that from in here." He was keeping his voice quite low, only able to be heard by her, and he was leaving out the specifics. Because right now, he just needed to work on convincing her that they weren't enemies. That they could -- and needed to -- work together.

He was a fool, and the worst kind of fool--one who would get others killed. "Keep your voice low, Sky Person!" She hissed, moving closer to the bars that parted them so others would not here. Not everyone spoke his language but in case they did, she didn't want them following him to their deaths! "The only way out of your bars, is when they take you to bleed. They will put you to sleep, bleed you, and put you back before you awaken. Do not be the fool. There is no way out of your bars!"
His other words left her wondering, but she didn't ask about them. There was a alliance? WITH THE SKY PEOPLE? How desperate had things become? They were making pacts with the enemies--people who had more in common with the mountain then with them? Surely this was hell, and there was no escaping it. Moving away from the bars she sat back, lifting her knees to rest her hands on them. They were all here to die.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT She instructed him to keep his voice low, though he wasn't concerned about the other Grounders hearing him as much as the Mountain Men. There were none other currently present. Besides, he needed to reach out to the others . . . and right now, she was his best chance of doing that. After all, she was still talking to him and that was always a good sign. The Grounder spoke of how there was no way out; that the only way to do so was to be harvested. Hung upside down like the other two Grounders that they were currently draining. This wasn't part of the plan.
Bellamy had been meant to get inside but not as a prisoner damn it. This was going to set them back and time was not a luxury they had on their side. "How long do they bleed them for?" He questioned, trying to get an idea of the time frames. It was clear that when they did harvest them . . . it wasn't to the death. Some looked weaker than others and he imagined it was those who they had already bled. The paleness wasn't solely from dehydration. Despite the woman's words, Bellamy was not going to give up. Nor did he speak to her as if he was already defeated. He was determined. Their people needed them. Everything was riding on him getting out of here and fulfilling the plan. The fact that he couldn't, made the anger course through him though he somehow managed to restrain himself from kicking at the bars again.

How long? What did it matter when he would be forced to sleep? She rolled her eyes, and wished he'd stop talking already. Turning her head she looked over him. The clothing they were forced to wear covered nothing, she was able to see he was strong, fit, and even slightly handsome for a sky person. "They will bleed you for a while." She said in a dark, forbearing tone, and looked away.
After a moment she sighed deeply, and shook her head. They were in here together, and he at least should be warned. Turning her head toward him she spoke again, this time her tone was less dark--not friendly, but emphatic. She too had once fought to escape when she first got here. "When you fight then, they use these sticks to hurt you. They have a blue light on the end, and it makes your hole body tense and jerk. Then they put you to sleep--and you wont feel the bleeding. Just try to think of something good before they drug you--at lease then your dreams will give you a break from this place."
"They bleed you til they can't take more without killing you. Sometimes they stop it in time, sometimes they don't. Either way, you can't stand afterwards--you can't fight."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Awhile. But she later revealed that it wasn't enough to kill them, just to weaken them. For the most part. But she added on that one wouldn't be able to fight after it. "Not fighting, isn't an option," he told her. Too much was riding on this. On him. The entire plan would fail if he didn't do his part. And in turn . . . everyone would die. It was as simple as that. When Echo explained the weapons, Bellamy knew of them all too well. It was the weapon he had been given as a Cadet, and one used against him when the other Arkers came down to get him off of Murphy.
He knew all about the electrical shocks. If those were the two weapons they used, then it seemed that the Mountain Men and Arkers had the same weapons. Apart from the acid fog . . . which Bellamy needed to turn off. Damn it, he needed to get the hell out of here. He looked at the two Grounders being harvested and took in details of the equipment, the positions, anything he could that may help him. He then turned his head to look at Echo once more. "My name is Bellamy," he revealed.
He was taking that first leap of trust, and wasn't sure if she would return it with her own name. After all, as far as she was concerned the Sky People were still their enemies. The progress they had acheived -- the alliance -- was unknown to most, if all, of the Grounders in here. "Look at me," he said in a calm, non demanding voice but hoping she complied so that she would see the determination and truth in his eyes as he spoke -- even though it was through the barred cage.
"I'm going to get us all out of here." The alternative was, unimaginable. "Our people are coming, and they are relying on me to carry out the part of the plan that will make this all work. If there is anything you've noticed or seen that would help, please tell me." If there was anything she noticed, any small window of opportunity -- even if it was just a brief second. She had clearly been in here for a while, and he was hoping to gain all that she noticed in that time to somehow devise a plan of escape.

Not fighting wasn't an option? She hated him for that! His words make it seem like she had not been trying! "Then you will die faster. then the others." She bit out, and keep looking forward while trying to ignore him. Instead he told her his name--damn it. She didn't want a name to the face. She didn't want to know another name to morn when the faces were always in her head. She didn't want to know!
'Look at me,' he asked of her and she looked away from him in defiance, before sighing and looking right back at him. Right into the brown eyes that looked back at her, and she didn't like how it was hard to hate him, knowing that he was being just like every warrior in this room. They all thought to fight until the bleeding, and then their just slowly began to die.
He spoke of a plan, and she wondered if that meant he had one to get out of the cage. Looking away she was silent for a long time. Almost too long, before looking back at him, and reaching out to grip the bars between them, and pulling herself closer to them. "They comes in two or three. They look for the strong. They will hurt you with their stick until you cannot move, and then stick you with something to make you sleep before they take you out. Once out they hang you, and drain you. Some of us are too much weight for the doctor to lift, and there is some times when you are left on the floor until others come. . . . but you will be too weak to fight even the doctor. You will be cold--colder then you have ever been before. Tired, hunger and thirsty all at once." "Even if the clans come . . . they have weapons to kill us. Fog that eats our skin. liquids to make up sleep. Everyone who tires will die."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT She was defensive. Which was understandable. From the looks of it, she'd been in here for a while and thus, missed all the progress that the Arkers and Grounders had made. Though, it was still a bit tenative. At least there was something solid though. Something that they could agree upon and unite over. He instead, just listened to her explanation of how they came in. The materials were unfamiliar to the Grounders, but not to the Arkers. Not to him. He knew all too well about their weapons -- having learned more of them even from Lincoln and Clarke who had both experienced Mount Weather just in very different ways. That was what he was going to focus on, to explain to her. To show her that he hadn't just come in blindly. There was a plan in motion. An elaborate one. It had been after all why Bellamy suggested an inside man.
Because otherwise, they would just be doing what the Grounders had been for the past century: getting their ass kicked by the Mountain Men. "That's where I come in," he began to explain. "I can turn off the acid fog from the inside so they can't use it against us. We have a way to stop the Reapers. Our people are prepared. Both sides." The Grounders had the numbers and warriors to fight, where as the Arkers had the intellect and skills to leave the Mountain Men defenseless. "But this plan won't work if I can't get out of here." He wasn't giving up. Despite her feeling defeated, he wanted to give her that hope. It was dangerous, he knew but it was also his only chance. This entire damn plan was riding on him. He couldn't fail them. He already had the blood of over 300 people on his hands. He couldn't have this too.

He could stop the reapers? Echo watched his face and wondered how this was possible. No one stopped them! You either died or you killed with them. There was no stopping them! "You can stop the reapers? You mean not kill them?" That had her attention. She had seen too many of her friends turned, and too many of her people taken down by them. She didn't want to believe him, it seemed too much like a dream.
Even with his plan, there was a flaw. There had been many who tired to escape the cages, but non of them made it far. No one had ever made it out of the mountain. Still, what would it hurt to help him try. She had nothing left to loose and she'd rather go down fighting at this point. With a deep breath she leaned closer to his cage. "You need a plan to get out of the cage. Nothing anyone has tried as worked. The men here expect you to try, and they will make sure you are not fighting before the cage is opened. They use medicines to make you sleep. How will you get out of here?"
