Gabriel was a scientist/geneticist who joined the Eligius Corporation and embarked with a handful of other families to colonize and explore other planets. They came across Planet Alpha, would they would eventually name Sanctum. Things, took a drastic turn and over decades of research, Gabriel found a way to battle death. To resurrect the original families of the planet, known as The Primes. He soon destroyed the means of doing so, and defected, created the Children of Gabriel to bring down The Primes. When unwillingly brought back from his dying host's body, he was discovered as being Gabriel several years later; this exposure causing chaos. He eventually joined others through the anomaly, spending a significant time on Penance where he was trained as warrior.
