.:Physical Appearance:.  Slightly shorter than average, Naoya sports a lean and slender body that looks weaker than he truly is. His angular face houses dark almond shaped eyes, a strong nose and a fair smile all topped off by a thick mop of black hair. Atypical of normal Azgeda warriors, Naoya's face is clear of any scars or markings despite his skills having never been used for espionage. Naoya wears very typical pieced together clothing and makeshift armor as well as a distinctive fur lined coat.

.:Personality:. Naoya is fiercely protective over the people he loves and considered unwaveringly loyal to his clan. He has a natural, likable warmth but can be cold and calculating when circumstances call for it, preferring to fight up close and intimately with his opponent. Despite his willingness to fight, Nao can also be quite diplomatic and charming with his words. Although he is passionate about his work and duties, he doesn't like to take himself too seriously and is quick with a smile or a joke. 
.:Special Skills:.  Naoya is exceptionally skilled in archery, however he prefers close range combat using two short swords.

.:History:. Naoya endured a typical Azgedan childhood, learning to fight and care for his family. Even as a boy, he was lending what he had learned in archery to bands of raiders, hiding in the trees and picking off the unfortunate the didn't run fast enough. As he grew older, Naoya was needed in other areas, but learning medicine wasn't a choice he made by himself, rather that of his elders for sickness was spreading and even the clan's healers were succumbing to death. Naoya proved to be a quick study and soon the knowledge of both the wounding and healing arts made him vital in battle and well loved in his people's eyes.
