...it's me.
I've been wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet.
Hello.
Right. So - short and sweet (and a little brisk, apologies)I lied.
I have watched Seasons 1-3. Doing a rewatch because I'msososososo intimidated by the whole canon thing. It's been a while since I've canon'ed. I watched a few episodes from Season 4 (1, 2, and 10, I think?) on the plane , but I'm not quite there yet... I'll get to the finale eventually!
Disclaimer out of the way, I'd like to introduce Naomi --
You can read my application for her here.
I've posted the basics at the bottom of this post.
I'm looking to flesh her out - past and present. I'm open to all timelines, alternate universes, canon divergence, antagonistic relationships, friendships, etc.
So, yes, hello. Hi. Lurking no more. Nice to meet y'all. I'm looking forward to getting some writing done!
Sorry about the longish post... >> Thanks for reading!
Background:
- Born and raised on Farm Station
- Mother was a teacher, and her Father was a technician on Farm station -- both are dead (mother from impact injuries and father by ice nation)
- Naomi worked as a technician on factory station (and lived there by the time the Ark was grounded)
- The family (particularly her father) were part of Vera Kane's congregation
Post-descend:
- Naomi survived the factory station's landing, but was, like many others, flung further into the valley, away from the wreckage
- She was captured by grounder scouts shortly after impact (I presume not the only survivor - left it open for the sake of potential interaction)
- Due to worsening condition and lessened value as a prisoner / slave, was used for bait
- Left strung up to die (and as potential warning?), she was found by some of the remaining farm station survivors
- Unable to pull her weight physically, she created traps, weaponry, and armour to aid resistance to Azgeda attacks
- Potential inhabitant of Arkadia -- likely to work on fixing / building / perhaps even farming
Personality wise, she's very -- well, she used to be very withdrawn. As a child she was ostracised (her parents might have been a little peculiar in their, uh, views and mannerisms). She took to fixing things as a pastime and is quite savvy at problem solving. She's a sensitive soul and aware of it, and puts much effort in putting up walls to hide it. Since the landing and loss of her parents, and everything that followed, she's become a lot more vocal.
