whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy had been counting down the days. Counting down to when he would see her again. His family. He had lost three people down there. Clarke, who was most probably dead. Octavia and Faye. The latter two were women that he loved; women that were his family. So with each day passed, was another day without her. Another day not knowing if she was ok . . . and it was making him insane.
Making him desperate. The others needed him to be in his right mind so during the day, he would keep busy. Keep focused on the tasks that kept them alive. But at night, was when it was the worst. He missed her warm embrace. He just missed every damn thing about her.Days turned into weeks. Weeks into months. And months into years. Until five years later, and an extra month of preparations and just to be on the safe side . . . they were going down.
They were risking it, without confirmation since there was no contact with the ground. This felt all too familiar and yet, there was a life waiting for them down there. A life waiting for him. It was worth the risk, because he couldn't wait another damn second away from those he loved. The landing was successful. Then came the trek to the bunker. They managed to pull through, a newfound energy in Bellamy knowing what awaited for him at the finish line. They were close, so close.
Around the bunker was rubble, so the next step was setting to work in removing it. They worked tirelessly, until the door was clear. Bellamy took a deep breath, banging on it, hoping that somehow, they could reach out to the others and assure them that the ground was inhabitable. The air wasn't toxic. That they could be free once again. Their efforts bore results, for it was opened and the reunions that ensued were heart warming. Bellamy found his sister as she emerged from the bunker, and once having hugged her, his eyes searched for the other person he had longed to see. For Faye.

Faye remembered it like it was yesterday. It didn’t feel like it was five years ago. It was the day that the world was supposed to end and even though it didn’t, it was certainly the day her world had ended. She had wanted to be with Bellamy and her other friends. She didn’t want to be separated from him. But things had happened and Faye had been inside the bunker when it closed. She knew it was what Bellamy would have wanted but she didn’t like the idea of him being out there. She just wanted him to come back to the bunker so that they could live out the next few years together. But that wasn't going to happen. She didn't even know if she would ever see him again, but she tried to have as much hope as she could.
Things had changed even more with a certain discovery. She had no idea and wasn’t sure how she had missed all of the signs. But Faye found out she was pregnant just before she was supposed to say goodbye to Bellamy on the radio. She was glad that she had a chance to say goodbye, to tell him her news. She knew it would be awhile before she got to see him again but she couldn’t keep it from him. Faye wanted him to have something to fight for. But Faye hadn’t been able to say goodbye. She hadn’t been able to tell him that he was going to be a dad. She had cried for many reasons. Faye cried because she didn’t know if they were going to survive this whole thing. She cried because she hadn’t been able to share her news with the man she loved. They guessed that it would be five years before they could go back outside and it was the longest five years of her life. The only thing that made it bearable was Auggie.Nine months later and Faye gave birth to Auggie. He was the first baby to be born in the bunker but certainly wasn't the last. Faye had anxiety during the birth, thinking about her mother and how she had developed an infection while giving birth to Faye. But she had people who helped her through it. The doctors had been great and she was thankful that they weren't prevented by laws in case she needed extra help. It had been tough without Bellamy by her side. She didn't even have her best friend, Clarke, by her side. She had no idea if either of the important people were alive but she did know how much it sucked doing it without them. The idea of motherhood had been overwhelming to Faye. She had always been indifferent about having her own kid, but she certainly never thought she'd be doing it on her own. It was hard and she was tired, but he was the thing that made sure she kept going. Then there was a commotion about the bunker being opened. How could that be? They had been buried beneath the rubble not long after the radiation had hit. But apparently people had dug them out and she felt the small bit of hope burn in her chest. Could it be Bellamy and the others? Auggie was taking a nap so she had her friend stay with him so she could go and check things out. Part of her wanted to bring him with her, but she didn't want to disturb him if it wasn't Bell. Then she saw Octavia with her arms wrapped around someone. She would know those curls anywhere. Faye felt tears prick at her eyes, seeing him after all these years. It wasn't long before she was flinging herself into Bellamy's arms, wrapping her arms tight around his neck. She buried her face into his hair and inhaled the scent, having missed it so much over the past five years. "It's really you," she cried. She pulled away just slightly, placing her hands on either side of his face so she could get a good look at him. He looked tired but she was almost certain she looked the same. Being cooped up in the bunker and running after a five year old aged Faye. She could only imagine that she looked like a mess. "I missed you so much. I love you." She leaned forward and pressed her lips to his in a kiss. It was filled with want and passion and all of the love she had.Bellamy Blake

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Fortunately, Bellamy did not have to search long for Faye. She emerged from the bunker, and Bellamy felt the instant embrace of her arms around him. One he immediately returned his own arms wrapped around her, keeping her close against him. As if holding her, was the very thing he needed to breathe life back into him. He closed his eyes, lowering his head and burying it against hers, taking in her scent, the warmth of her skin, the sensation of her body. He had committed each thing to memory but it only made that pain of separation so much stronger.
Each moment away from her sheer torture. But finally, he felt the beat of his heart again. He could not stop the tears that well in his eyes, one escaping down his cheek when he felt the press of her lips against his, and the words of affection that opened the dam of his own emotions. He returned the kiss, arms still around her as if he was afraid of ever letting her go again . . . which, he supposed he was. Easing out of the embrace, his forehead rested against hers, trying to process everything and assure himself that she was really here. That they were really together once again.
The magnitude of it, forcing another tear to slowly slide down his cheek. "I'm so sorry." The words escaped in a single breath, thick with emotion. Words that he had longed to say to her. Apology, for leaving her. For leaving the people that he most loved. His sister. His best friend. And the woman he loved. "I'm so sorry," he breathed again, his lips returning to hers in an emotional and desperate kiss, knowing he did not deserve that forgiveness but . . . unable to spend another second away from the one who held the power to breath life back into him after 5 years.

Feeling his arms wrap around her in a tight embrace made all of the good feelings in the world wash over Faye. It was something she wasn't sure if she would ever feel again but here she was, feeling it. Faye never wanted to let go in fear of never seeing him again or waking up to realize that it was all a dream. She couldn't bear to find out that none of this was real. He kissed her back and it was either an incredibly realistic dream or it was real life. Faye had to believe that it was all real, even as he pulled away and pressed his forehead against hers. A tear slid down his cheek and her thumb wiped it away as she kept her forehead against his.
Bellamy spoke for the first time and his voice filled her ears. It was too wonderful to hear his voice again and she felt tears fall from her eyes. Faye was past the point of trying to wipe them away or hold them back. It was an emotional moment for everyone and people couldn't blame either of them for crying at the sight of their other half. The blonde shook her head as he apologized again. He had nothing to apologize for. Like always, Bellamy did what he thought he had to do in order to protect his people. She didn't blame him for leaving. Faye was just glad that he was alive and that everyone had survived those five years in space.
His lips found hers and she eagerly returned the kiss, keeping her arms wrapped around him. She felt like she would have separation anxiety if he were to leave her side again. Of course, Faye knew that he would have to at some point. They had to rebuild their society in the outside world now that it was okay for them to leave. But she could enjoy his presence for as long as she could have him. Faye reluctantly pulled back from the kiss, even though she didn't want to, and looked at him through her tears. "I don't blame you for anything, Bellamy," she spoke softly. "You're alive and that's all I care about." They could have ended things with a huge fight and she wouldn't have cared. All that mattered was having him back in her arms. "I know you just got back but . . . I have someone I want you to meet." Faye couldn't just come out and tell him that he had a son. It would be a private moment for the couple and the family. Their first moment as a family.
