Meeting Miller had been... interesting. In a good way. Miller had turned out to be fun to hang out with, even more fun to get high with, and Jasper didn't mind looking at him at all. He'd approached Jasper because someone told him Jasper had good weed, and... it was phenomenal weed, if he did say so himself, thanks in no small part to the grow juice he concocted. But when he said he wanted to get involved in Jasper's 'business', Jasper had been surprised. That was a first, and Jasper wasn't sure he trusted it until he 'tested' Miller by telling him he should go steal some weed from the ark garden and bring it back to Jasper if he was really serious. And apparently, Miller was. Miller was the son of a high ranking guard and he wanted to deal drugs. For some reason, that amused Jasper to no end.

Now was the tricky part, though, because it wasn't only Jasper's business. Monty didn't do any of the selling because... well, he had more of a squeaky clean 'good kid' image than Jasper. Jasper was hoping Monty wasn't going to flip out that he was basically exposing Monty to Miller by inviting him into their little scheme without asking first. Either way, they were gonna find out. Jasper glanced over his shoulder at Miller as he knocked on Monty's door. His parents usually weren't home this time of day, so when Monty answered the door, Jasper said, "Hey, you alone?" and then stepped inside without waiting for an answer, inclining his head for Miller to follow. "We have a new business partner," he told Monty, excitement in his voice as he offered his most charming smile to his best friend in hopes Monty would just be cool with this and not be weird.

Monty was relieved to hear a knock on his door because whenever somebody called it was almost guaranteed to be Jasper and spending the day with his best friend was always better than spending it alone. Getting up from his place on the couch, he made his way towards the door but when he opened it, he was surprised to find that Jasper wasn’t alone. There was another young man with him, he knew enough about him to put a name to his face, but Monty couldn’t say that he’d spent a considerable amount of time trying to get to know him. He knew that his dad was a guard and that gave him enough of a reason to avoid him for the most part, so he was confused about why Jasper would bring him to his home. “Er yeah, my parents are out” he confirmed when Jasper asked him if he was alone, although his friend had already stepped inside. He waited until both men were inside before closing the door behind them, it wasn’t often that Jasper brought somebody with him when he called and when he did, Monty could almost guarantee that they wouldn’t be related to any guardsmen.

“A new business partner?” Monty asked skeptically as he eyed Miller, he would have appreciated it if Jasper had given him a heads up so that he could be prepared instead of just turning up at his door with a guy that he introduced as their new business partner. Monty thought that he had a right to be suspicious of the new development, at least when it was just him and Jasper, the risks of getting caught were fairly minimal, they trusted each other and things ran smoothly. “Can we trust him?” he asked as he crossed his arms and dipped his head in Miller’s direction. He trusted Jasper and he knew that he wouldn’t risk everything by bringing somebody in who he didn’t trust completely but Monty was annoyed about being left out of the loop.
