The Sky was
It was strange how rapidly things were changing in Mount Weather.. one moment they were all heading off into their respective classrooms and now they were in midst of war zone. They could hear someone on the intercom announcing a few guards had been killed on one of the lower levels of the Mountain. Despite the heavy need for oxygen, the fourteen year old continued to push himself further as he ran through out the halls of Mount Weather searching for any signs of life. He managed to find some of the children from the numerous classrooms at Mount Weather, quickly leading them to a more safer room. It didn't sit well with him to leave them be, especially in the middle of a war zone that was going on in their home. "Shush, just stay quiet." The fourteen year old whispered, donning a more hushed tone. There was no telling where any danger would pop up. As far as he knew, guards had been killed in the lower floors and something was still going on even now. Perhaps that would explain the tension clinging to him as he led the small boy, named Christoper, through the halls. It might have been the fear that he felt that made him want to move faster- those children needed to be found. He couldn't imagine what would happen if something were to happen to one of them. At the thought, he found himself picking up the younger child as he turned his frantic gaze around the hallway, searching for any other sign of life. "Don't worry Christopher, we'll be alright." Alastor lightly reassured, only to fall silent in the next few seconds. They barely rounded the corner when he spotted a sole brunette lingering in the halls of Mount Weather. There was something about the brunette that left him wondering who she was- while that had been his first thought, he was more distracted by the thought of gathering all of the children he could possibly find. Admittedly, the fourteen year old was only trying to search for the children, it wouldn't stop him from helping out anyone else that needed it. He had given her a brief look over, but he didn't spot anything out of the ordinary. Then again, he was mainly checking for any weapons or something tying her to the chaos unfolding in the lower floors. With nothing immediately jumping out at him, he had been quick to offer her possible shelter. "Come on, you should come with us." Alastor suggested, a twinge of panic to be detected in his voice. All he wanted to do at this point was to find Christopher some safety before someone else spotted them- someone bad. He didn't want to linger on that what-if any longer than necessary. "There's something going on here. We're not safe out in the open like this." Alastor hurriedly stated, more than a little eager to get out of here as soon as possible. There was a room they could hide in for the time being, somewhere safe to keep them from any danger. For the time being at least. Alastor wasn't sure how long this ongoing fight would continue, especially with the intercom no longer announcing what was going on in the lower levels. | NOTES: I figured I'd start it off a bit slow for now.
