When she was brought to the capital of the grounders, Gena felt much better than before. She was stable again, could walk herself, despite some pain. To this moment she wondered. Why was this happening like it was happening? She could not make sense of it. Nor had she any idea what was going on at her home. What was happening there? She guessed people expected her to have died. The mountain, she should have died here, but she had underestimated the strategy of some of ice nation. She had underestimated whatever power sent her to the capital. But she was glad. She was alive. She might just be able to go home.
Upon being brought into the big room, her eyes fell to a figure in the throne. The commander, clearly. Everything, every detail matched. It matched what she had been told about her. That had to be Lexa. Gena of course was never taught how to behave in front of her, so she remained standing, addressing her as respectful as she could, unknowing of how much she knew. “I… am Gena Martin. I’m originally from Arkadia. I’ve been in the mountain before Ice nations attack.”

Lexa had already sent out some of her people to the edge where mountain met her territory to make sure nothing had been broken. She had thought about sending them to make sure the ruins were just ruins yet she knew how her people felt. And there would be no survivors, just a grave full of lost souls, killed by Azgeda. Busying herself in punishing Azgeda, when word arrived of her guards arriving with someone injured, someone who didn't fight back, Lexa ordered their arrival.
"Those who stand before the Commander needs to bow." Titus spoke in his usual gruff voice. Lexa merely shot him a look to keep him from talking any further - most of Skaikru didn't know the proper greetings or how to behave and while she should have told the girl herself that she should bow, she was more interested in the words she was speaking. In the mountain before Azgeda attacked. She survived when the rest had perished in the flames. How? Lexa stared at the girl, no, she stared at Gena, before she spoke. "You survived the bombing of the mountain."
Surely this would be good news for Arkadia. One of their own was alive. "How did you when the rest of those inside perished?" Lexa wanted to know, as if it would some how alleviate her own guilt. Because her own weakness had been something Azgeda pounced on, used it, and killed for it. "You are the only survivor. It's a heavy burden to shoulder. If you are who you say you are then word will be sent to Arkadia. Until then, you will stay here." Under Lexa's protection. She wasn't going to let Azgeda kill anymore.
"I'd imagine you have questions." Lexa left it open so that Gena could ask her whatver question was on her mind.

She knew the mountain had been blown up. Otherwise she wouldn’t have mentioned the attack. However she didn’t know she was the only survivor. She didn’t know there was nobody else. Her friends, all the others from farm station, dead, gone for good. She fell to her knees, mouth open in shock. The others were gone. But there were other things at hand. Things she heard, a warning on her lips, she looked up at the commander. “It… wasn’t just one person.” She replied. It felt more elaborate than just blowing up the mountain. “It was just the beginning. They want to start a war. They took me. But some others killed those and brought me here.” And she was pretty sure it was only because she was the survivor.
“Did… what happened?” She needed to know. Not in the mountain but everywhere. Time didn’t just stop. Gena pressed her hands to her stomach. “Did… they succeed? Did they start a war? What about Azgeda?” They started this, but did they end it? Did they succeed in their weird plans? She felt like crying, honestly. She didn’t know what to do. If there was a war, it had to be stopped. There would just be more blood.

Lexa tilted her head as the young woman, Gena, spoke. The words came as no surprise considering what she knew of regarding the attack. All because they thought she was too weak leaving the mountain to stand rather than finish destroying it like they should have. This was her fault, more blood on her hands that were already stained crimson. "No it wasn't. This was the result of Azgeda. As you know by now they are a cruel clan." Everyone knew it and saying it wasn't breaking some secret. "I've already sent my men out to find out who helped Azgeda. They had no knowledge of that mountain and this will not go unpunished. Meanwhile I have had Nia arrested for her part in the attack.""War could still very well happen and for that we must prepare." Lexa continued to look at her. "As to what has happened, that is simple." Lexa began, feeling rather proud of what she had managed to accomplish despite what she had done that could have ensured Skaikru being her enemy for the rest of her life. No matter how long or short that would be. "The night of the bombing was the night in which I made Skaikru the 13th clan. Any attack on you is an attack on me." A fact that Azgeda wasn't counting on beforehand, probably hoping they would accomplish their deeds before the summit finished, or maybe hoping that it would break the summit apart. Regardless was the fact that Skaikru were part of their coalition now. Though they couldn't attack their own clans if they attacked the enemy, they could retaliate should a clan attack another without provocation. In this instance Azgeda bombing the mountain and killing Skaikur - that would be means for retaliation. Gena Martin((ooc// i forgot the actual reason why MW was blown up xDD))

They did have knowledge, Gena knew that more than anyone else now. She had seen them use the actual code in order to trigger the self destruct. It didn’t really occur to her at the time to question where they got it from, but the fact remained that they had it and that they were not actually meant to have them. That was worrying looking back. She paled, not just from that, but from the injury she had sustained as well. Being stable sadly didn’t meant she was okay. But with what Lexa said, it seemed like she was in relative safety here. Compared to out there. The safest, though, she would have been in Arkadia. That was a place she could not go, she assumed. A lot of politics were involved after all.
“They had knowledge. I can attest to that, if you need it. I was there, in the room when the assassin set of the self destruct. He dragged me with him. I saw him. He had the codes written on his arms. He had inside information even.” How that was possible, it was impossible for her to tell. But she could attest to it, she was a witness of this. “Have you spoken to Arkadia? Explained that? I know most of my people are scared. You could maybe take some of the fear away by explaining that to them?”
