whatever THE HELL WE WANT Everything was going according to plan. The Grounder army was keeping the focus on the gates, while the others had fought their way out. They were close to having Cage in custody and . . . well, Bellamy feared what would happen to him in the name of the skewed Grounder justice. But, he couldn't stop that. Their whole damn blood demanded blood was clearly not something that could be changed. What Bellamy did want to ensure, was that innocent people didn't get caught in the crossfire. That they were not to be harmed.
Only the Mountain Men who stood in their way. Bellamy had already killed enough of them. Including the father of a small boy. But alas . . . he couldn't think on that right now. He had to keep his mind on the task at hand. Their people were safe, and at any moment, this would all be over. Bellamy was checking the area, ensuring it was clear, on the less violent floor to secure it. There were so many that had helped their cause thus far and Bellamy would not see them harmed. Not even by the grounders. He was still clad in the uniform of Lovejoy, the attire of a Mountain Man.
He knew there were still threats around and the risk was great . . . but he couldn't find or ask anyone more for their help. His gun was out in front of him as he pushed open a door, not even sure what was behind it. It was quickly revealed to be an older male. Bellamy held his gun out at him, aiming it but not firing. "Who are you?" He demanded, needing to know if he was a threat or not. And he needed to know fast, before the Grounders decided to start clearing the are themselves. Who knows what bloodshed that would end in.

Things had gone chaotic in Mount Weather the moment news of the hundred killing their people had been announced. Not to mention, there was also Grounders outside, threatening to barge in and hurt them all. Unlike the other adults, Leo was quick to rush out of the dining hall to make his way to the other side of the floor. He'd be damned if he didn't try to find out where the children were first. Maybe Al would know. He wouldn't put it past the fourteen year old to cut class occasionally. Sneaking a brief glance behind him, he made a quick turn to the right in the next hallway and knocked on the door pertaining to the child. His eyebrows furrowed slightly at the silence afterwards. “Kid, are you there? This is serious. Something’s going on.” Leo whispered hurriedly, knocking once more only to be met with silence.
Despite the thought of being rude, Leo barged in the room without a second thought. His gaze quickly swept across the room as the lights flickered on revealing an empty room before him. Alastor was missing from the room. A small curse escaped his lips, his hand running through unruly brown locks as he turned to face the door. If he wasn't here then where was he? Could he be with the other children? Maybe one of the teachers had gone ahead and took the children somewhere more secure. Things hadn't gone to shit entirely. There was still a chance things hadn't gone bad just yet. Either way, that instinct to protect hadn't diminished despite his absence in the guard. Without a second thought, Leo had rushed down several hallways before stopping at his room. Leo had barely taken a single step inside when the door had opened, almost immediately his facial features had contorted with confusion. “Haven’t you heard about knoc--..” His words died off in his throat as he found himself staring straight at a tall stranger in Lovejoy’s uniform. He knew Lovejoy- and that wasn't him. Despite the confusion and fear, Leo kept himself calm as his gaze flickered between the gun aimed at him and the stranger in the guard uniform. Might as well speak up now, he had kept quiet long enough. “Leon Cosmo, former guard for this place and one of the cooks.” Leo answered calmly, debating if he should make a move or step back. Considering the grounders outside, it didn't seem like anyone in Mount Weather would be getting out safely. Nonetheless, something had to be done. It might have been the brief silence getting to him or even his concern for others that had him speaking up. “Okay, look.. I don’t want any trouble. You want something here, fine take it-- It’s yours. I just want to find the kids before something happens outside.” Leo hurriedly explained.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Fortunately, the man introduced himself, but the first title he gave Bellamy concerned him. "Former guard?" Bellamy asked. Which meant, that he was a Mountain Men. But Bellamy had not seen the man peruse him, or in any of the locations that held a need for security. Not to mention that he wasn't clad in the typical guards uniform so perhaps his role as one was truly set in the past. And that, was where it needed to remain if he was going to make it out of this alive. Bellamy couldn't speak for the other Mountain Men. If they fought, they would die. If they surrendered, then Bellamy hoped there would be mercy shown. Right now, his priorities were different.
When Leon continued to say that he didn't want any trouble, to take what he needed . . . and that he was looking for the kids, Bellamy realized that they could both help each other out, as their focuses were the same. "You and me both," Bellamy told him, eyeing the room to make sure it was clear before lowering his weapon from Leon. "I'm not going to hurt you," Bellamy assured him, holding out his other hand in reassurance.
"I'm here to ensure none of you get caught in the crossfire's." Another honest statement, though he knew that there could easily be distrust between both sides. "There's a war going on in the lower levels, and I want to make sure the kids, and other civilians are safe." Bellamy looked intently at Leon, hoping he would see the sincerity in his gaze. "Can you help me do that?" He further inquired, knowing that Leon, as a former guard and citizen of Mount Weather, could be a great help and incredibly beneficial.

Given his options, Leon had his suspicions he wouldn't be leaving any time soon unless some questions were answered. While he did leave the guard, it didn't take a genius to figure out they were, essentially, in trouble. One simple glance at the stranger before him proved that question correct. "Yes, I left the guard awhile back." Leon answered, not bothered to go into details pertaining to that memory. The quicker he answered, the faster he could go find the kids and other civilians. Something told him the former would be the most difficult part, especially with all ruckus going on in the lower levels.
For a second, not a single peep had escaped the cook's mouth as he heard stranger's words. He was looking for the children- why? With the chaos going on outside, some skepticism was only natural especially with the way the guard was fretting about their home. Instead of offering a verbal reply, Leon kept quiet as he watched the weapon being lowered, no longer aimed in his direction. "Then, why are you here?" He questioned, only to have his answers moments later.
As much as he wanted to remain skeptical about this, there was no time to be thinking this over. Finding everyone else came first, especially with the fighting going on outside. With the intense look in the stranger's gaze, Leon find himself reeling back for a moment, wracked with stubbornness and impatience. While he wasn't too keen on accepting the proposition right away, this was the only way he could get out of the room. And the faster he did that, the better. "Alright, alright." He grumbled out tiredly, forcing himself to ignore the worst case scenarios running round in his head. "I'll take your word then- I'll help you." Leon finally answered, "We need to start moving then. Otherwise, we won't be able to find anyone."
