The group had lost track of Clarke and her captor, their trail cold once they'd headed off again, but at least the Arkers hadn't lost another in the process. Even if Bellamy had come away with an injury, it was better than the likely alternative. He had been determined to find the girl and his persistence was admirable, but they needed to approach the rescue wisely, albeit boldly. Since their attempt to track Clarke down it had come to light she'd been taken to the grounder capital, an apparent 'safety' Pike was reluctant to put much confidence in.
Still, Marcus and Abby had felt in a position to discuss the matter with those who held the girl along with whatever else they hoped to achieve at the summit, perhaps simply through lack of options, while Charles focused on getting the survivors of Farm Station settled in a more secure environment. They had been through so much these past months, a little relaxation without having to watch their backs every second was the least they deserved and he would do his best to provide it with the help of their fellow Arkers.
With Bellamy still recovering from his wound he would be staying behind instead of attending the summit, though Pike wasn't sure whether the younger man would have chosen to go to the meeting anyway. If Bellamy's earlier perseverence to get to Clarke was anything to go by, there was a good chance he'd have preferred to go along with Kane, whether or not the company would have been accepted. For now, Pike was glad for the other's assistance in settling the Arkers. "How's your leg?"

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy wasn't in the best of moods. There was some relief that Clarke was alive, but she was far from safe. Held at the Grounder capital with Lexa there. A person they could not trust. Someone who had left them for dead. And among those who went . . . were Kane and Abby. Bellamy should have been there. He should have gone. He'd been with the people for all these months. He'd been a part of Mount Weather and the plan to get them out. Surely, he should be present to hear what was going to happen. To listen to how they would determine the future of Grounders and Arkers.
Instead, he was here. The excuse of his injured leg being the reason he couldn't go. But it was bull shit. Majority of the traveling was in the rover anyway. The walking would be minimal. He knew Kane was doing this to teach him a lesson for his disobedience. For breaking protocol. Screw it. Screw protocol. He was here with Pike, helping the others get settled in. The relief of finally finding and being reunited with farm station was strong . . . and Pike as their leader was a pleasant outcome.
Pike was strong, knowledgeable, and he seemed devoted to their people. "It's fine," Bellamy replied with a hint of bitterness. The was not geared toward Pike specifically, but more, the situation. Despite his limp, he was still mobile. He knew he had worsened his injury by over exerting it . . . but it didn't matter. He could still walk. And he should be in Polis right now. "I should be there," he stated, verbalizing what ran through his mind as an afterthought. And assuming, Pike would know exactly what he was referring to.
