As much as Kat tried to deny it, there was very little anyone could do to sway the votes in favor of Kane. The people of Arkadia had spoken and they had chosen Pike as their new chancellor. It was clear that the growing tension with the Grounders had made everyone, well a majority of the group, anxious to hurry and deal with them. The faster they took down the Grounders.. the quicker to true peace they were. Whether or not Kat admitted it, she found herself struggling to decide who made more sense in this situation. Kane with his consistent attempts at peace or Pike who wanted to take down the Grounders before they would clear the field with them. It was a risky decision despite previous circumstances. The people of Arkadia had already suffered once from betrayal by the Grounders. Who's to say it wouldn't happen again if a greater enemy were to arrive and threaten them all?
Perhaps she shouldn't have been so slow to pick sides, but it was growing increasingly difficult to keep her voice quiet. Before long, the vote had been counted--- Pike was the winner in the end. However, it wasn't the outcome that had changed her thoughts. No, it was the Chancellor's speeches that had changed them. What was stopping the Grounders from betraying them again or attacking them? Just because they had a truce with one group, it didn't imply everyone would respect it. They needed to eliminate the threat before it grew any bigger and took them all down by surprise.
While having Chancellor Pike finally make a stand against the Grounders, there were whispers going around of a revolt. Considering how close Bellamy was to Pike, being called his second in command, Kat didn't bother to second guess her decision to come find him. Someone needed to report this situation before it blossomed into something horrible. A revolt would only set back their plans to take down the grounders. With everyone they had lost they shouldn't risk the possibility of making that number increasing any longer. That was the thought lingering on Kat's mind when she had approached Bellamy outside, where Pike was talking with a few of the farmers."Can I talk to you? " She questioned, gesturing for him to follow her to a more discreet location with a wave of her hand. "There's rumors going around about a revolt.." Kat explained, facial features contorting into a troubled expression.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Things had taken a drastic turn at Arkadia. Pike was now Chancellor and . . . well, Bellamy was relieved for it. He was displeased. Displeased with Kane, Abby and Clarke for committing their people to a coalition, under the leadership of Lexa -- a woman who betrayed them. Someone who left them for dead. He was displeased that Kane referred to their people who had died in Mount Weather as 'collateral damage', dismissing their deaths to what, appease the grounders? He was displeased that the existence of an army surrounding them was kept from all of them, with the exception of three people -- one of which was Clarke who wasn't even here. And, most of all, he was displeased that he had trusted Echo, only to be betrayed by her resulting in the loss of so many people . . . including Gena. She was dead, they all were, because of his naivety. Because, despite the Grounders betraying them over and over again, he trusted her.
For whatever reason. And everyone had paid the price. What was it Pike had said? Never again. And Bellamy emphatically agreed with those words. It was why he supported Pike in his campaign. The people didn't want to be Grounder bitches anymore; hence the reason Pike won. They needed to eliminate the army, before they eliminated them. They had betrayed them before, and history showed that they were more likely to do that rather than protect the Arkers. The anger toward them was strong . . . but even still, Bellamy knew that they had gone too far. He could understand Pike's logic of not leaving survivors -- though Bellamy had managed to convince him to leave at least one alive, Indra . . . but it still didn't make Bellamy feel great. It was just more blood on his hands.
Once they returned, everyone was getting freshened up, and after Bellamy did so, and a council meeting, he stepped outside the Ark, looking around the area within the gates to see Pike talking to a few others. Charles had offered Bellamy his position back on the guard again and this time . . . Bellamy held faith in their Chancellor. And hoped, it would not be displaced. He hoped he could trust him, as he had trusted Kane. A voice broke his thoughts as he turned his head to look at Kat. He followed her to a discreet place, where there were no listening ears or wandering eyes. Bellamy's expression held a stoic gaze, though intrigue flickered across his face when she spoke of a revolt. Bellamy cared a great deal about Kat, and trusted her . . . as she was one of the original 100 sent to the ground.
"What have you heard?" Bellamy asked. He had no intention of revealing a source to Pike, not wanting to endanger her position. The fact that she was trusting him with this, meant a great deal to the male Blake sibling. "I need to know everything," he added on in a quiet voice. "Let's go somewhere private though," he continued. He gently took her arm, touching it for a moment, before leading her inside the Ark, so that they could talk in his apartment and have the necessary privacy for such a serious subject. Bellamy didn't doubt there would be spies in the camp and . . . he hated that he had a strong feeling that those spies, were people he was closest to.

Given Kat's tentative status between Kane and Chancellor Pike's factions, she had more opportunity to stumble across a few supporters of both man. Ironically, she had already made up her mind long ago. Whether she admitted it verbally or not, Chancellor Pike had already gained her support. There was no real proof that the Grounders wouldn't threaten to hunt them down and slaughter them all. They had done it once, when they first dropped to the ground. What's going to stop them from doing it again? She didn't want to lose anyone else-- Not again.
While the thought of snitching hadn't been a favorable one, the auburn haired girl wasn't going to risk the stability they had now. Things were changing now with Pike as their chancellor. A revolt would only set them further back, placing them in a terrible position when it came to the grounder. They couldn't afford to lose more people, not now. That was the only thought that came to mind when she first approached Bellamy, fully intending to relinquish every bit of information she heard unknowingly.
Once the two were somewhere more discreet, Kat had been quick to tell Bellamy about the impending revolt. There was no way she was going to sit aside right now. The stoic expression on his facial features made her hesitate to believe he thought she was telling the truth. However, the sudden intrigue he showed quickly changed her mind. "There's not a lot being said, but I plan on figuring out the details soon. They mentioned taking Pike down, without violence if there was a chance." Kat hurriedly explained, mentioning each detail that she heard. Before another word could be said, the auburn haired girl paused when she heard Bellamy's remark. He had a point. With a quick nod, she followed him to his apartment, waiting to speak to him more there. "From what I heard, there's a small following beginning to grow in Kane's favor. It's.. the same people that showed a lot of favoritism for Kane." Kat spoke up, after they reached Bellamy's apartment, shutting themselves inside.
