THE HELL WE WANT
So much had happened since arriving on the Ground and Bellamy was still attempting to process it all. He had made a deal to assassinate the Chancellor, in exchange for a spot on the dropship so that he could come down with the other delinquents. Or mainly, his sister. But there was another not far from his mind, an added bonus he supposed. Though . . . it made it no easier to take the Chancellor's life. The only justification he could use was placing his blame on him for floating his mother. But that did not ease the pulling of the trigger. There was no time to deal with that however. They had survived the landing, they survived the air . . . now, they had to survive each other.
Bellamy had placed himself in a position of somewhat authority, initially to rally everyone to take off their bracelets. Among the delinquents was not only his sister, but also, Monty. His partner on the Ark, and someone he had not seen since his arrest. He had tried to visit but after Bellamy's own sister was arrested . . . it was an impossibility to go to the Skybox. As part of the older Blake sibling's punishment, he was denied the ability to see her. But now, that had all changed. They were together again, and well, Bellamy hadn't gotten a chance to speak to his partner yet . . . if they even still were that. Things had been tense, especially with the man Bellamy had to be down here on the ground. Convincing others to take off the bracelets, promoting the message of 'Whatever the hell we want', playing that role of an ass if only . . . to make sure the Ark didn't follow them down.
It wasn't until tonight, returning with a panther for dinner -- able to exchange food for the removal of the bracelets -- that things were relatively calm enough for Bellamy to actually speak to Monty. Monty had gone with the princess, Jaha Junior, and the others to look for Mount Weather. Tonight, they had returned with both Jasper, and a meal. Bellamy knew how close Jasper and Monty were so perhaps his approaching of Monty, also entailed checking in on how he was doing. And having that much delayed but necessary conversation. "Hey," he greeted Monty, looking carefully at him, as if trying to see how he perceived Bellamy now. Compared to what they had on the Ark. Monty had been his first and only romantic partner. He wouldn't take him for granted, nor assume that he would want to remain with him after all he had done. "Have you eaten?" He asked, extending a plate of food, his eye falling to Monty's wrist to see if he had taken off the bracelet but at the same time . . . he was an exception to this exchange. He cared too much about Monty for that.
