After speaking with Jackson, Monty had determined that he had been seriously misjudged the man, he wasn't anything like he had imagined him to be, he was actually kind. He definitely seemed like he would treat Bellamy the way that he deserved to be treated, Monty might even venture to say that he loved him. From what he'd heard, Bellamy felt the same way, he wouldn't be marrying him if he didn't. However, Bellamy did have a certain reputation, one that wasn't necessarily good when marriage involved staying loyal to a single person, perhaps for the rest of your life. It was Monty's job to make sure that Bellamy and Jackson had a long, happy marriage, god forbid they had a messy break up, he couldn't be stuck between that, forced to choose between the guy that had been there for him through everything and his new found friend that actually seemed to understand what he was talking about most of the time.
Monty had been searching for his friend for around an hour, he'd been to his apartment but got no answer, he'd been to see if he was on duty out in the yard, but he couldn't find him out there either. The only place left to look should've been obvious to the boy, of course Bellamy would choose to work out in his spare time, he definitely didn't look like somebody who spent their days sitting inside all day. Walking into the training arena, he hesitated when he saw Bellamy inside and a small smile immediately appeared on his face before he could stop it "Hey, who're you trying to impress?" he called out to the other male, trying to wipe the smile off of his face. He walked towards Bellamy, trying to keep a serious expression on his face, but he just looked so happy, how could Monty not smile about that.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy couldn't think of a time he had been happier. Despite the losses, the trauma, something good was finally happening within Arkadia. Something good was happening for Bellamy. He would be marrying the man he loved. Their wedding had been meant to be simple, but once word spread, it was turning into a grander affair. Truth be told, Bellamy didn't mind.
The people needed this more than he and Jackson did; a reason to celebrate. To see everyone wanting to show their support meant a great deal. Neither Bellamy nor Jackson were used to it, but nor did they protest. It was nice; something to unite everyone. Right now however in the few moments of free time Bellamy had, he was training in the arena, the make shift gym where one side filled with different equipment.
Bellamy was currently working on the salmon ladder when he heard approaching footsteps, the words further revealing who it was. Bellamy looked at his close friend, before hopping down from the ladder, and reaching for the towel set on the bench to wipe away the tears of sweat from his neck. "Clearly not you," Bellamy teased with a bit of a smirk. The ability to joke and jest coming with so much ease. Far more than he ever thought possible.
But his own smile soon faded as he took a few steps towards Monty, noticing the seriousness in his expression. "Everything ok?" He inquired, wanting to make sure that his friend was alright. Monty had been through a great deal as well, and Bellamy wanted to be there for him however he could. He owed that at the very least to his friend; one whom Bellamy never had to mourn the loss of, emotionally nor physically. And he intended to do everything within his power to keep it that way.

Monty rolled his eyes at his friends words, he wasn't making it easy for him to keep a straight face and Monty really wanted to hate him for that. "Clearly" it wasn't often that he got to see Bellamy smile and he hated to risk lowering his mood but there were a few things that he obviously had to discuss with him. "That depends on what you mean by okay" Monty told him, keeping a serious tone to his voice as he spoke "The thing is... I just had a really interesting conversation with Jackson and not only did he have no idea who I was but he actually mistook me for Murphy" he raised an eyebrow as he looked up at Bellamy, he had some explaining to do and Monty was not going to allow him to worm his way out of this, he was going to get answers.
"Jackson's a great guy by the way, I like him!" Monty added, a smile appearing on his face "which leads me to my next point, we need to talk" he could already tell that this was going to be an uncomfortable conversation "you should probably sit down... This might be a lot to take in" he gestured for the man to take a seat even if he didn't really care if his friend chose to remain standing. "You might not know this... But you've got a bit of a reputation around Arkadia and that's not really a good thing" he began to lecture Bellamy, making sure that he knew of the seriousness of the situation "the thing is Bellamy... You're kind of a slut..." he gave his friend a sympathetic look as if genuinely felt sorry about having to share the information with him.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy would have grown increasingly concerned, but there was something in Monty's expression that was starting to give him the impression that it wasn't serious. Or well, serious in the sense that it had to do with their people's safety and security. No. This had to be about something else entirely. And as Monty elaborated, the moment he brought up Jackson's name . . . Bellamy understood. This was about his fiancé. The older male couldn't help but smile when he said that Jackson was a great guy, and that he liked him. Bellamy didn't know how anyone couldn't like him. And if they didn't . . . it wasn't because they disliked him.
It was because they hadn't had the opportunity to get to know him. Though Bellamy couldn't withhold the chuckle as Monty said that he mistook him for Murphy. "Guess you didn't take that as a compliment?" Bellamy joked, all in good humor. Truth was, Bellamy hadn't really talked to Jackson about his friends. Perhaps in passing when it had to do with work rather than the personal relationships he'd developed with them. Some of his relationships had fallen apart and the entire topic was difficult for Bellamy to talk about, with anyone. Though now, perhaps it would come with more ease. Hell, even discussing his soon to be husbeand was unfamiliar to Bellamy, as he didn't exactly go around announcing it to everyone. "Glad to hear that you like him though," Bellamy added on, wanting Monty to know that he appreciated his effort to get to know the man he would be marrying. But . . . there seemed to be more as the younger male told him to sit down.
Setting down the towel, Bellamy reached for his shirt and pulled it over his head, and down before he sat on the bench, looking at the former delinquent curiously, albeit a hint of amusement underlying in his gaze. Monty started off by speaking about his reputation . . . and Bellamy felt his heart sink. Ache.
He knew his reputation was bad in Arkadia. With his siding of Pike, there were those who may never look at him the same way. After he'd killed the army . . . after he was blamed for Lincoln. Bellamy clenched his jaw, the amusement fully slipping from his face as his gaze fell to the ground, trying to keep himself composed. Monty probably thought he was not good enough for Jackson; the older male's past misdeeds catching up to him. He didn't want to hear it. He couldn't bare to hear it . . . because he knew it was true.
He was not good enough for Jackson, and while he had personally acknowledged it, hearing someone else say it would make it . . . real. Make it known. He felt his throat dry, bracing himself for the words. If Monty of all people thought that he wasn't good enough for Jackson given his actions with Pike . . . then how could he expect anyone else to accept them? He couldn't even justify himself. He would have to accept it, and deal with it. But the moment Bellamy heard the word slut, Bellamy's head raised to look at Monty again . . . suddenly realizing what he was talking about.
"Oh my god," Bellamy responded, suppressing an eye roll as he rose to his feet. "You gotta be kidding me. You can't seriously be trying to have a talk about sex with me," he continued, his eyebrow slightly raised as he looked at Monty. He didn't exactly take offense to the word, knowing the evidence was against him if he tried to protest. "Let me save you the trouble and says it's not going to be an issue." Damn, this was not a conversation he ever thought he'd be having with Monty. Then again . . . he never thought he'd be getting married, so the world was fully of surprises.

Monty glared at Bellamy’s joke “You’re not funny” he muttered, he could see how some people might find it funny now and he knew that Jackson hadn’t meant any harm by it, it had just been a simple mistake but at first Monty hadn’t found it the least bit funny, he’d even been kind of offended by it. “Who knows, maybe he’ll be good for you” he shrugged, from what he had seen Jackson was already making Bellamy much happier than he thought he’d ever seen him before and Monty was glad that his friend could finally be happy and do something for himself instead of for his people. Since arriving on earth, Bellamy seemed to have done so much for them, in the early days he’d been their protector, he’d taken charge and organised them when otherwise they would have just been a group of kids running around in the forest with no thought of shelter or food until they were cold and hungry.
He didn’t seem to notice the change in Bellamy’s mood at the mention of his bad reputation, he was aware that he’d gone quiet but he assumed that was just because he was listening to what was being said to him. ‘Oh my god’ Bellamy’s words caught his attention and the boy watched as his friend got to his feet 'You gotta be kidding me. You can't seriously be trying to have a talk about sex with me' the glare returned to Monty’s face as Bellamy continued to speak, he thought it was pretty obvious that was exactly what he was trying to do. Walking forwards he used his hands to shove Bellamy as hard as he could in the chest “I’m not finished!” he yelled in an attempt to make the older man listen to him and not just dismiss his words this time. “Now sit down and listen to what I have to say!” he pointed to the bench that Bellamy had risen from, signalling that he should sit down again.“We’re talking about this whether you like it or not” Monty told him firmly, he wasn’t going to take no for an answer, if Bellamy refused to sit down and talk to him about it, then he’d make him listen. He hadn’t yet figured out how he was going to do that, Bellamy was obviously stronger than him and so he doubted his ability to keep him in the room against his will, he could only trust that Bellamy would stay and listen to what he had to say. Bellamy said that it wasn’t going to be an issue and Monty really wanted to trust him, but talking about it wouldn’t hurt…Bellamy Blake

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Monty appeared to be quite serious on the subject. Telling him that he wasn't funny, and supposing that Jackson would be good for him. Bellamy knew he was. He had quite literally saved him. Not because of the fact that he was a doctor; but more so, how he had saved Bellamy's soul. Having someone care for him, bellieve in him . . . want to be with him. It have given Bellamy life, a feeling he'd lacked for so long. But Bellamy remained silent on the subject, instead, continuing to keep his gaze on the younger male. When Monty attempted to push Bellamy, he didn't move. Remaining stationary, grounded in place, unaffected by his movement.
Instead, Bellamy folded his arms across his chest, and kept an eyebrow slightly raised. He wasn't going to tease Monty for the attempt. Bellamy never believed in belittling others strength. Everyone here was strong, especially the original 100 that landed on the Earth. Monty was no exception. With his arms folded across his chest, he kept his expression stoic, though a flicker of lacking amusement crossed his features. "I'm not sitting." It wasn't stubbornness but indication that he didn't want this conversation to be long.
Then again, who would want a conversation about their extensive sex life to last for long. "But I'll listen to what you have to say." An offer, a welcoming for Monty to talk. If it was anyone else, Bellamy would have just walked away. But Monty was like a brother to him. And he knew that whatever he said, came from a good place . . . despite his use of the term he had thrown out. "You got one minute." And only because he was Monty. Someone else would have gotten zero seconds, but hey, Bellamy was generous enough to give him 60.

Monty was frustrated that he hadn’t managed to move Bellamy at all when he’d shoved him and he was frustrated that Bellamy refused to cooperate and instead chose to remain standing despite Monty’s attempts to make him sit. “It would make things easier if you sat” Monty told him, easier for himself, not so much for Bellamy if he didn’t want to have the conversation. When Bellamy said that he had one minute to talk, Monty was encouraged that he was actually prepared to listen to what he had to say, even if he hadn’t been given that long to talk and explain himself.
Knowing that he didn’t have long, Monty got straight to the point “When I went to see Jackson today, I thought I knew exactly what to expect and I thought that he would just be some guy that had come along and was going to hurt you” he explained “but when I got to know him I found out that he’s actually a pretty great guy! When we’d finished talking, I kind of realised that he wasn’t capable of hurting you” Monty spoke quickly so that he could get everything that he wanted to speak about, across to Bellamy before his time ran out. “But then I started to worry about the possibility of you hurting him and I panicked because obviously I don’t want either of you to get hurt!” He didn’t know if he was making sense and he was pretty sure that he was running out of time to explain himself “you know it would be much easier to explain if you’d given me longer than sixty seconds to talk!” he could understand why Bellamy would be reluctant to talk about the topic that Monty had brought up, but it wasn’t like he was asking him to make a list of every sexual partner that he’d had.
