Actually, my favorite weapons are bow and arrows and dagger but in a duel to the death, I think I would have more chances to stay alive with a sword! Because I don't see bow and arrows as a good weapon for a duel to death and with a dagger, you must get really close to your opponent so you could get injured more easily... So... yeah, I would use a sword.
