She dresses in the typical colors of Azgeda: blue and grey tones. Her eyes are outlined with a smeared black substance [arguably blood], which makes her lightly colored eyes even more piercing like daggers. She has a strong build to her and a dominating as well as intimidating presence. She has a strong walk, sauntering like a snake.

.:Personality:. Nia is known as a ruthless leader. She is a strong queen, willing to do anything and everything to maintain her power and strengthen Azgeda. She is canniving, manipulative, and unsympathetic. She is strongly intelligent, especially in politics and strategy. She is hardly afraid to use violence, torture and any form of physical aggression. In fact, she thrives on it. She is cold and calculated, and doesn't show emotion as she believes it is weakness. Peace is not her goal. Holding onto her power is.

She is infamous for her torture methods, particularly beheadings. She seems to have a thing for beheading.

.:History:. Nia was raised by a father who's mindset was show no weakness, and ruthlessness was a show of strength. This was the mentality that Nia thrived on. And one that she eventually ruled with. For it was through war and violence that she made Azgeda the largest and perhaps strongest clan of them all. She does not believe in having friends but rather, rules through fear. She is not submissive to anyone and refuses to bow down. She is power hungry, and is willing to do anything and everything to control it. She is also aware of the need for a successor. She married with the sole intention of having a daughter or son, preferably a daughter as she saw strength in women. It was not long after that she carried a child in her womb. After giving birth to a healthy and strong baby boy, her concern of having an air was no longer an issue. Her husband's method of parenting however was vastly different. She found him too soft and therefore, killed him, not wanting Roan to take after his father.

Nia continued her reign, placing spies all over the clans so that she remained well informed. When a new Commander was placed as Heda, Nia got word of her efforts to create a coalition. This threatened everything that Nia worked for in terms of having such a strong clan. Nia learned of a lover she had named Costia and decided to use this to extract information. She kidnapped the girl in attempt to get information about Lexa from her. When the woman refused, and was not breaking. Nia eventually killed her. She sent one of her best spies, Echo , to deliver the head, slipping it into the Commander's bed. This resulted in retaliation.

Despite Nia's lacking desire to join the coalition, Lexa as Heda had the support of all other clans and threatened Azgeda. In exchange for joining them or getting wiped out, Lexa struck a deal. That Azgeda could join the coalition in exchange for her son's banishment. Nia expected it was a mutual loss of a loved one. With no other choice, the queen was forced to agree, devastating in losing her heir to the throne but determined to gain him back. She was begrudgingly part of the coalition though despises being forced to bow down and submit to another. She has been plotting, and waiting for her time to strike when the Mount Weather fiasco occurred. . . no better opportunity arose to reclaim her power. Only this time, she made sure to gain the support of the other clans first, staging a coup and a vote of no confidence. Unfortunately, Nia did not get further than that.
