Need A Voice To Echo

Clarke crawled into the tend with her. She made sure all the sides were closed before settling in. The thing was sleep didn’t come easy to her. Even as she settled into the bedroll she had, she knew it would take a long time for her to actually fall asleep. At least she was comfortable with Klara close. And Monty was a welcome part of this party, too. The other two? Well she didn’t need them. Monty was the core, Klara the bonus and the other two the burden, if she was honest. 

“I would love to just ditch them.” Clarke pointed out with a soft voice, whispering more than speaking as she turned to look at where Klara was sleeping. “You, me and Monty would be faster together, more flexible. And I trust both of you.” And that was more important to her than anything else. There were so few people she trusted. “And your instincts are good. The hiding places you already found. If anyone can find a bunker for us all, it’s you. And Monty.”

Since Clarke wanted her to get some rest in the tent, Klara had gotten in but she decided that she will settle not far from the tent entry to be ready to defend herself and protect her companions if something happened. She quietly watched Clarke as the girl was checking if every sides of the tent were closed. Then she put her weapons next to her and she lay down even if she knew she wasn't going to fall asleep very quickly.

Klara was lying on the ground, eyes closed, just trying to relax a little, when Clarke spoke. She could feel her friend's eyes on her but she didn't open her eyes and just let a little smile appear on her face. Klara opened her eyes at Clarke next words "As trust isn't something common these days, I'm honored to know that you trust me." She knew that Clarke trusted her but she just wanted her to know how glad she was to have a friend like her. Then Klara took a more serious tone before saying "You shouldn't believe in me that much... It was easy to find hiding place in woods I explore since I'm four years old. But finding a bunker for everyone is another thing."
