Everything that had led up to it, the feelings that Harper had held in secret for so long. The way that Nina was so willing to teach Harper, her sense of humor, the way her hair surrounded her face in beautiful curls. Every little thing that had built up Harper's feelings and they had finally come to a point where she could show them openly without fear of rejection. Nina's words left a satisfied smile on her lips and some colour in her cheeks. She could really get used to this moment being the norm, to the swapping compliments, the comforting presence of Nina laying next to her, and of sinking in the joy that came after sex. Especially when it all came with the feelings they both held for each other. A soft sigh left her lips when Nina's arms wrapped around her. She had to burn this moment into her memory. After a moment, she sighed and pressed a kiss to the top of Harper's head. She carefully and slowly untangled herself from Harper and moved around the cave, putting her clothes back on and finding her hair tie. Throwing her hair back into a ponytail she looked down at Harper, smiling at the appearance of the sleeping blonde.

Nina crawled back onto the ground and over to Harper. A smirk formed on her face and she leaned forward, pressing a kiss on Harper's neck. She moved down, pressing kisses down her neck and onto her collar bone. She kissed down her chest, the valley of her breasts and down to her stomach. Glancing up to see if Harper had woken up, Nina returned to her task and continued to kiss down her body until she was facing the apex of Harper's legs. Wrapped in Nina's arms, safe and warm, Harper found that the nightmares that often plagued her sleep didn't make any sort of appearance. It was amazing, peaceful sleep and she could have probably slept all through the day if undisturbed. When she did start to wake, still half asleep and unsure of where she was, Harper hummed quietly at the feeling of lips against her stomach. All she could think, in her half asleep state, was that she must have been having a really great dream and that she wanted to fall back asleep and let it continue. So Harper kept her eyes closed and didn't make any effort to move. No way was she going to be waking up quite yet. Then the feeling against her stomach continued, moving further down and Harper found her body alert. She wasn't able to just fall back asleep. Maybe she wasn't dreaming. Part of Harper wanted to get Nina out of her clothes again and to just spend the rest of the day there in that cave. If only they could do that but Harper knew they couldn't. She didn't regret that at all, if she hadn't come then this would have never happened but she definitely still held her fears about going back to the mountain that had caused her so much pain. The best she could get out of it was that she was going there with Nina and she couldn't imagine anyone who's presence would be more calming for her. Still smiling over at Nina, Harper reached out and held her hand. "So, I know you've already eaten but I'd like to know what we have breakfast," she teased. She watched Harper come out of her orgasm induced haze, taking in everything about the blonde. The little things that, at any other time, she would be unable to appreciate. The world they lived in moved far too fast and these moments were rare. She knew she had to get up and continue her journey to Mount Weather, even if it was one she found a little stupid in the first place. Harper reached out and grabbed Nina's hand, and she intertwined their fingers together. Nina looked down at their hands and smiled at the sight. She had never really been one for PDA or hand-holding for that matter, but with Harper it felt right. It felt like that's where her hand almost belonged, as crazy as it sounded.

Nina laughed at Harper's comment, a genuine laugh. Leaning over she pressed a quick kiss to Harper's mouth before retreating back to her spot on the ground. "Shut up," she said through a giggle. Nina didn't really remember what they had for breakfast. She couldn't remember what she had shoved into her bag for food, as she had just grabbed what had been given to her. Rolling over, she grabbed her bag and sat up, digging through it. She pulled out a few things. "These weird nutrition bars from the Ark," she said. "And some of this meat jerky stuff." Food was a little limited at the moment but it would hopefully get better with farm station around.

Her laugh was beautiful and Harper wished she could hear it more often than she did. On Earth it felt like no one laughed too often and Harper knew she was the same, real laughter coming rarely especially with all the danger that they had faced almost non-stop since the dropship crashed to Earth. Harper could only hope that things would calm down and get better. When she thought about how bad things had gotten on Earth in the past months, Harper almost wished for the quiet predictability that the Ark had given. Play your part, follow the law. It was simple with no danger from grounders or Mountain Men. Now Harper craved the sound of laughter and found herself terrified and anxious over visiting a large empty bunker. Harper squeezed Nina's hand as Nina gave her a quick kiss, the moment something so rare and beautiful. There was disappointment when Nina moved away from Harper to grab her bag and Harper almost regretting asking about food. She definitely wanted to lay there with Nina for at least a little longer, even if she knew she couldn't. They had to start moving. As Nina started to take things out of her bag, Harper sat up. The food that Nina listed wasn't too appealing but it was about what Harper expected, knowing that the food they had at this stage wasn't too interesting. It was food, though, and Harper was feeling hungry. Harper stood up, smiling down at Nina as she felt how shaky her legs were. Nina's wake up call would likely mean they would need to wait it out a little longer before they could leave just to give Harper a little more time to recover. She collected her clothes and dressed before sitting back down on the ground next to Nina and running her fingers through her hair to get the worst of the tangles out. "The food could be worse," she said, opening up a nutrition bar. "Although it'll probably disappointing after your first meal," she added with a smirk on her face. Nina Eaton || See, a post! She took one of the nutrition bars and opened the wrapper, biting into the piece of food. To her, it almost tasted like chocolate sawdust. But Nina was used to these bars since it was a main source of energy on the Ark. She had honestly never minded them before because she ate them so much when she had been training. She had learned to like them and while most people still found them awful, she didn't. Nina chewed the food, her jaw almost beginning to hurt from how hard and chewy the nutrition bar was. While her tastebuds hadn't forgotten the food, her jaw certainly had. She had forgotten how chewing could be worse than the taste.

Swallowing her bite, Nina grinned at Harper's comment. "I like my dessert first," she teased. Nina took another bite of her bar and began to work on that piece. Sighing, she stood from her spot on the ground, holding the rest of the bar in between her teeth. She grabbed the bar from her mouth. "We should get packed up," she said. Nina didn't want to leave. She loved their little cave and everything they had done inside of it. But she knew that if she didn't show up at Mount Weather sooner rather than later, questions would be asked. Nina wasn't a huge fan of answering questions, especially when the answers involved her and Harper sleeping together. She didn't think others would appreciate the answer as much as she did.

This is my Fight Song --TAKE BACK MY LIFE SONG, PROVE I'M ALRIGHT SONG Harper grinned and took a bite of her bar, enjoying the back and forth teasing, the bit of fun that they could have. Even in this, Harper could feel her anxiety started to appear again as she realised just how close they were to leaving again and starting back on their journey to Mount Weather. She wished she could sit there with Nina forever and tease her, it sounded so much nicer than the mission they had to complete. It seemed so pointless anyway, with the fact that the others would have arrived last night but Harper knew there was no point arguing that. Nina knew just as much as her how pointless this was, she had made that clear. They still had to do it. Chewing her bite from the bar, Harper nodded at Nina's comment. "Yeah, we should," she agreed, as much as she didn't want to agree. Standing up, Harper stretched her arms up above her before taking another bite of her nutrition bar. Her legs at least felt steadier below her than they had the last time she had stood up. Harper walked over to where the fire had been, making sure it was completely out before picking up her backpack. It wasn't like they needed to do much to get packed up, at least. The fire had gone out during the night and they could probably leave it like it was. They were both already dressed also, which was good, especially considering if Nina wasn't dressed Harper would feel even more tempted to spread out their time together in the cave. A smile on her face, Harper walked back over to Nina and took hold of her hand. "Last night, and this morning, was great," she said, meeting Nina's eyes. Her eyes followed Harper's every move as she stood up and went to check on the fire. She watched as she got her backpack and she grinned when Harper walked over to her. She loved the feeling of Harper's hand in her own and it was something she never wanted to let go of. Nina kept quiet as she listened to Harper's words, wanting to give her all of her attention. She only smiled at the words. "It was great," she agreed. "And I can't wait to spend more time with you when we get back to camp." Because she wanted to spend more time with Harper. She wasn't going to let this be a one time thing where she got into Harper's pants and that was the end of it. Not only was Harper her favorite sparring partner, but she was one of her favorite people in general. She made Nina laugh and she always managed to put her in a good mood. 

Nina leaned forward and kissed Harper, showing her all the feelings she had for her. When she pulled away, she smiled. "Let's go," she said, pulling Harper's hand and leading her out of the cave. It took her a moment for her eyes to adjust to the light given that the cave had been on the darker side. Nina began walking in the direction of Mount Weather and hoped that Harper was still feeling okay. She knew that this place was bad in Harper's mind. She knew how it held so many horrors for her. But Nina wasn't going to let her feel alone. They were going to get in there and do what was needed and they were going to leave. They weren't going to hang out there like most of farm station was.

That was exactly what Harper wanted to do. Harper couldn't imagine the cave being a once off and her feelings definitely hadn't faded from it, only grew. "I can't wait either," Harper told her, squeezing Nina's hand as she was kissed. As Harper kissed Nina back, she put all she could into it. She pressed her lips lightly against Nina's once again when Nina pulled away. Nina led them out of the cave, into the bright light of day. Harper lifted her free hand to sit over her brow as she adjusted to the light, feeling her normal mixed sense of calm and worry at the sight of the woods they were in. Harper wasn't completely sure just how far away they were from Mount Weather but part of her hoped it was still a far way off, the forest around them left her worried about animals but that worry was nothing compared to the panic that threatened to overtake her on the thought of Mount Weather. It had been a while since she had suffered from the flashbacks of the drilling, the ones that had attacked multiple times a day in the early times out of Mount Weather. It had also been a while since she had felt like crying at just the thought of the place and the memories of the pain. All she could hope was that neither came back from her trip, that she could face it without total fear. She did have Nina. If she focused on Nina, rather than where they were going, she was almost sure she would be fine. Talking to her would be the best distraction she could get as they walked. Any silence with Nina would be comfortable, completely so, but there were also so many thing that Harper could say. With the knowledge now that Nina held similar feelings to Harper, she could say so much now without worry of scaring her off. There was one thing in particular she decided she wanted to talk about, thinking back to Nina's promise of more time being spent together at camp. Harper was excited to spend all the time she could with Nina, and not just in bed. "So, since we're both into spending more time together, maybe we should go on a date when we're back at camp?" With only a few more hours to go, Nina was already looking forward to the trip back to camp. Hopefully they would be able to steal the rover from Bellamy, at least catch a ride with them at the very least. The idea of having to walk the whole trip made her legs hurt, and they were already starting to get sore. It didn't matter how in shape she was, this much walking would make anyone feel the pain. She clung onto the idea of getting a ride back to camp, picturing what it would feel like for her to stick her head out the top of the rover so she could enjoy the fresh air. She didn't even mind the cramped space in the back, so long as she wasn't walking, the idea seemed perfect.

Harper's words pulled her from her thoughts and she couldn't help but to laugh a little. "A date?" She asked, an amused grin on her face. The idea of a date had never crossed her mind but she wasn't opposed to it. "And where would we go?" She asked. Nina wasn't sure she considered any place in the camp somewhere one could take a date. People pretty much hooked up unless they were already in a relationship. No one had much time for dating but Nina knew they all deserved a break, especially Harper. So if Harper wanted a date then she would give her one.
