| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ | .:Birthplace:. Farm Station .:Family:. Mother: Mara Jones; Father: Kyle Jones; .:Occupation:. Used to be a student .:History:. Larkin was born into a humble and hard working family. Her parents always taught her, from a young age on, that nothing came for free, that if she wanted to change something about her life and about the situation of all her people she had to be the change she wanted to see and that she took to heart. At a young age she started to get interested in the rules and politics of the Ark, finding them harsh and unfair. She wanted to one day make them fairer, but she knew it would be a long way until then. For the beginning she comforted herself in doing the best she could do in bettering her own lot in life. She studied hard, hoping to get the opportunity to get a good job and go from there. But things fell apart just before she turned 16. Her mother fell ill. And there was nothing that could be done to save her. It was a short and violent sickness, resulting in her death. Some others had it, too, that year. Some died. Larkin felt great grief. She went to school and back home, cared for the household while her father worked. Until one unfortunate day. She was just going back from school, when one of the guards turned to her with harsh comments. Larkin made the mistake of talking to him, telling him to leave her alone. It apparently prompted him to do the exact opposite. To her horror he became increasingly more agressive. Larkin didn't just let him. She tried to defend herself. She tried to push him off. She even managed to push him off, sadly timing and placing were unfortunate: She pushed him to the wall, where a small spike got embedded in his skull, killing him instantly. She screamed in horror, alerting everyone to her and the situation. Larkin sunk to the floor, pulling her legs to her chest. She didn't even resist when they seized her. She got put in isolation. Larkin awaited trial there. But the thing was: She didn't expect to be released. They spoke of murder. And she knew there was not much she could do, not even in trial. To her surprise instead of facing trial she got sent to the ground with other kids. They were disposable and had to see if the ground was save. It was and it wasn't at the same time. She was one of the kids captures in Mount Weather, kept herself in the background. She didn't really interact, but didn't fully retreat herself either. As the Ark crashed, Larkin had to believe her father was dead. Turned out he wasn't. When Farm was found, she was overjoyed to reunite with him. That was until Mount Weather happened. Now, due to having been one of the 100, she was one of the only surviving members of farm station.
