THE HELL WE WANT
Chancellor Blake. He was still not accustomed to the title, nor the entire position. But with the murder of Pike . . . the spot was vacant. And alas, Bellamy had been elected. His insecurities in accepting this position were immense. Not long ago, he was deemed 'the enemy'. What if those same people disagreed with his policies? What if they attempted another mutiny? What if his decisions led to the death of their people? So much fear and yet, Bellamy needed to remind himself of one thing: he was what the people needed him to be. Seldom did he ever live for himself. It was always for another and right now, it was for the Arkers. With his newly appointed position, word had spread around and the pin was officially granted to him. When putting it on, he wasn't sure if he felt honored or burdened by it. Perhaps both.
There was much that needed to be done to rebuild Arkadia, to strengthen it . . . to assure the healing of their people. So many wounded, not necessarily physically but emotionally. Mentally. Psychologically. To be void of pain for so long only to have the memories thrust upon you once more, was not easy. But right now, Bellamy was on his way to see a certain someone. Someone whom he had not conversed with, yet had felt strongly relieved to see was alright. Raven. He knew she had something to do with ALIE's defeat, yet he hadn't the chance to know what.
He wanted to thank her. Now whether that was as a friend or Chancellor, he wasn't sure . . . no. A friend. Definitely a friend. He trusted Raven emphatically. And his main objective for going to her now, was to make sure she was alright, as she too had been through quite an ordeal . . . which was an understatement. When he didn't see her at her work station, he tried her apartment, taking a deep breath before lightly knocking on the door. Not enough to wake her if she was sleeping but loud enough to be heard if she was in fact awake.
