Like everyday since her mother's death, Klara was taking care of the TonDC orphans. This day, she asked Aïsha to go to the river to get some water. Aïsha was one of the oldest of the group and Klara knew she can trust her. That's why, when she didn't see Aïsha coming back, she began to worried so she decided to leave the rest of the orphans and to go searching Aïsha. When she arrived to the river, Klara saw her "little sister" on the shore. That's only when she finished to fill the gourds that Aïsha saw Klara waiting for her so she rushed to Klara but her foot hurt some root and she fell in the river. Klara didn't know what to do... She was a very bad swimmer but "I can't let her die"... Of course she couldn't : after her mother's death, she swore to herself that she will do anything to protect these children who lost everything just like her... She didn't care to drown if it could save Aïsha!!! She was going to jump in water to help Aïsha as she could when she saw a man kom Skaikru jumping to the river...

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy was currently out patrolling the area. It had become somewhat safer ever since the ceasefire. It allowed everyone recover from Mount Weather and for his people to establish themselves. Camp Jaha had now become Arkadia, and they were working to make it sustainable for the generations to come. With that, came the importance of mapping the land. Bellamy was growing increasingly familiar with the terrain, so every time he patrolled, he ventured a little more out of the parameters, while not being too reckless of course.
With their vehicles, patrolling became a hell of a lot easier but this time, he was on foot. He had decided to tackle the heavily wooded area that the rover wouldn't be able to get through. It was good though. Sometimes, he needed the time away from camp to clear his head. With everything that happened . . . with everything he had done, he needed to step away. He needed to regain his composure without the pressures of being the man determined to protect their people.
He was pulled out of his thoughts at the sight before his eyes. He had seen just enough to witness a young girl falling into the water, and it was highly evident that she could not swim. Just as evident was it was that she was a Grounder. But it didn't matter. She was a child, and Bellamy had a soft spot for them. A protective instinct that would never be turned off. He raced toward the water, dropping his gun to the ground when he was near it and pulled off his jacket. he quickly withdrew his other weapons too before leaping into the water after her. He knew it was unsafe to leave his dagger, and gun just lying there when there was clearly another Grounder . . . but they would just weigh him down. And his priority was the young girl.
Swimming toward her, the currents were strong but fortunately, not too overpowering for him. He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled him close to her. "Em ste ait. Yu laik klir." It is alright. You are safe. He didn't want her to think that he was further endangering her. His intentions were to help her, though he knew that with the existing tension among Grounders and Arkers . . . it was easy to be distrusting of the other. With a firm grip around her, he used his free hand to push through the water and closer to the shore. But that was when he saw something in the water moving toward them . . . and an alarmingly fast pace. He hurried toward the shore, pushing the girl toward the other woman standing there. "Sis em op!" Take her! He stated and just when she was half on the land, he felt something grab his leg and pull him under the water.

Klara didn't have the time to warn them that a water snake was coming right on them. In fact, she saw the animal to late because she focused on the skaikru man because she wanted to make sure that he won't hurt Aïsha even if in her heart, she knew that he won't since the moment he dropped his weapon before jumping to rescue Aïsha. When he "gave" her the little girl before being pulled under the water, Klara took her, put her on the ground as far as possible from the shore, put the skaikru man's jacket on Aïsha's shoulders to warm her up and told her to " ste hir !", stay here!. She had to help this man like he helped her. That's why Klara took her bow and arrows, ran to the nearest block of stone that seemed to stand out easily and pushed it in the water, and then got ready to shoot.
Like she thought, the snake had been attracted by the noise made by the stone and came to the surface so she tried to shoot it but she missed her shot so she took another arrow, took a deep breath and tried again. This time, the arrow hit the target so the snake went away and left the skaikru man behind.
He was still conscious when Klara rushed to the shore to help him going back on it, but his leg was bleeding because the snake bit him and probably poisonned him...

whatever THE HELL WE WANT The strength of whatever creature pulling him down was immense. He tried to kick it off, but it's grip on his leg was firm. The fear of drowning outweighed the pain of the it's sunken teeth into his flesh. He tried to reach for something, anything that he could hit it away with, but he had abandoned all of his weapons . . . ironically so that he wouldn't drown. But at this point, he was fairly certain he would bleed out or get eaten before drowning. That hardly gave him grounds to give up however. He tried to fight against it, though cringed when the teeth sunk in deeper.
It began to move, releasing Bellamy only for a moment as the male tried to frantically swim to the surface, only to be caught again. But the second time didn't last very long. Another sound, one that Bellamy could hear for it was muffled from being underwater . . . and it was that sound that prompted the creature to slink away. He didn't waste a moment. Hurrying, he could see the light of the surface and swam as fast as he could.
Once he raised his head above the water he gasped for air. Damn it never felt better to breathe! He ran his hand over his face to clear his vision, using his upper body to swim to the shore since his lower half was a bit impaired. He paid no attention to the trail of blood. Instead, his gaze fixated on the young girl who had fallen in the water. He noticed that the other woman had used his coat to provide her with warmth, which was of course perfectly alright with him.
He looked at the woman offering help, and took her up on it, using whatever support he could to push himself onto the shore. Before assessing the damage on his leg, he looked to the younger Grounder. "Yu ait?" You ok? Because she was priority right now. Glancing at the woman who had helped him to shore, he was also assuming that she was the one who had warned the creature away and ultimately, saved his life. "Mochof." Thank you. He wasn't completely fluent in Trigedasleng but he knew enough to somewhat communicate -- thanks to O and Lincoln. He didn't know of these women were warriors so wanted to make sure that his words were understood either way.

When he looked at her, Klara was surprised how graceful he seemed because she didn't think that what she did was exceptional. She just did what she had to. This man had just save her "little sister" from drowning so she had to help him back. When he spoke to her, Aïsha looked at Klara like she wanted to know if she could answer to the man's question so Klara acquiesced and the little girl said " Ai ste ait. Mochof.". When he heard this, the skaikru man seemed to feel already better and Klara could see a slight smile to his face despite the pain. Then, when he thanked her, Klara didn't know what to say : "Pro. You're welcome. But it should be me who thanks you. Both of us will probably be dead if you didn't help.".
It wasn't the first time that Klara saw a water snake bite but this one seemed very deep. "Can I?". He let her give a look at his leg. He was losing lots of blood so Klara tore up a piece of her tee-shirt, wet it in the river and made a garrotte to stop the hemorrhage. She couldn't do much right now. That's why she told to Aïsha "Yu ste komba raun houm en yu chich op kom ai lukot, Kheira.". You come back home and talk to my friend, Kheira. And the little girl ran away...

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy gave a bit of a nod at her words, knowing that no thanks was needed but he appreciateed the sentiment all the same. "It's nothing," he said dismissively toward any gratitude placed on him. He had killed far more many lives than saved. She then asked to take a look at his leg, and that was when the pain started to register. He himself wasn't sure of the damage so looked down at it as she started to get to work, firstly stopping the bleeding. Bellamy's knowledge of medical skills was limited to the immediate relief and then left the more complicated stuff up to the professionals.
But right now, neither of those were an option. Unless she was some sort of healer. The woman said something in her language -- Bellamy only being able to pick up bits and pieces of it -- before the young girl ran off. The male's eyes watched her, as if to fully determine that she was alright, before he turned his attention back to the one who had saved him from . . . whatever that thing was. Speaking of which . . . "What the hell was that thing?" He inquired, vocalizing his thoughts. He'd never seen anything like it before. He'd heard stories of them, like when Octavia had been attacked by when shortly after they landed.

When she saw him looking at Aïsha when she went away, Klara rassured him " Don't worry, she is fine thanks to you." She smiled to him. "But I'm not sure we can say the same thing for you...".
When her look went back to his leg, Klara understood that it was worst that she thought... The snake's bite was pretty deep so the poison will probably have effects soon... He saved Aïsha's life, so she had to try to make a potion to stop it or at least to slow its effects and buy them some time.
She was thinking of how she could make the potion when he asked about the creature. "It was a water snake, there are few of them in the river. And the bad news is they are venomous...". Of course, she didn't mean to scare him but she had to tell him the truth... "BUT there is a good news which is that Aï... - she suddenly remembered that she didn't introduce herself - Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Klara kom Trikru and the little girl you saved is Aïsha. And like I was going to say, I asked her to come back to TonDC and to find a friend of mine who will help us.".
She gave him some time to assimilate these informations. She used this time to reflect on the antidote and the plants she could use to make it, when she finally had an idea. "We will stay here until they come back. I have some ideas to make an antidote but I need some plants which I can find around here. It shouldn't take me a long time but if you don't feel well or if you have any problems just scream my name and I'll be right back. Okay ?".

whatever THE HELL WE WANT A water snake . . . that was venomous. Just his damn luck. But the fact that she hadn't abandoned him or left him at the mercy of the venom . . . well, Bellamy was quite appreciative of that fact. Truth of the matter was that the situation between Arkers and Grounders was still a bit tense, yet this particular one didn't seem to pose a threat. Quite the opposite. She had helped him and was continuing to do so. He gave a bit of a nod as she introduced herself, Klara from Trikru. Aisha being the young girl. He couldn't deny the relief he felt when assured that the young girl was going to be ok. Whatever cost that came at, he was fine with paying.
"Bellamy," he introduced in return, figuring his attire would make it obvious which people he belonged to. "How long does it take the venom to kick in?" He inquired, wondering what he was looking at here. Would he be able to make it back to Arkadia in time? But instead of that being his only option, she told him that they would stay here. We. She was willing to stay with him . . .and even find the necessary ingredients for the anecdote. Bellamy wasn't sure he could remain idle, sitting here. "Let me help," he said, attempting to stand up, but pain shot through his leg as his faced twisted in reflection of it.
He halted his actions, still sitting on the ground, inwardly cursing at himself for being so damn useless. He was well aware that he was just going to slow things down, and though he was no doctor . . . he supposed that over exerting his leg could make the venom take quicker affect. "Be careful," he told her, not wanting her to get hurt or risk anything over him. He wasn't sure about what friend was coming, but what he did know was that this woman -- Klara -- had saved his life and he wasn't going to take that lightly nor for granted.

Bellamy kom Skaikru... Klara nodded as he introduced himself. When he asked her about the venom, she looked at his leg once again, his wound was quite deep, it didn't seem very good but she answered "It depends... It can take an hour maybe more... I can't tell you when it will begin to act... But there is no time to lose, that's why I'm going to get some plants for the antidote right now.". When she saw Bellamy trying to stand up because he wanted to help, Klara said "No, you need to stay here and trust me, I know it's hard and you want to help but the more you move the faster the venom will act... So keep calm, I promise I'll be back very quickly."
Klara was picking up her weapons getting ready to leave when Bellamy told her to be careful. At his words, she turned back to look at him "Don't worry." she smiled at him and continued "I won't be long. And remember, I'm only one call away if you have any problem." She smiled at him once again and ran away following the shore. She didn't like the idea of letting this wounded man who saved Aïsha's life alone but she had no other choices, all she could do was running as fast as possible to find the plants and algaes that she needed as quickly as possible.
She finally arrived to a place where the river wasn't very deep and where there were a lot of some red algae which was one of the plants she needed to make the antidote so she didn't hesitate and just put her bow on the shore, only keeping her dagger to cut the algaes and go in the water to take the plants.
