.:Personality:. For someone on the outside looking in, Aspen is quite introverted and so mostly keeps to herself. She is quiet although not as shy as some would see her to be; she is not afraid to speak up for what she feels strongly for. To close friends and family, Aspen is fiercely loyal til the end, firmly believing that: what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger. She is kindhearted, and offers advice to those who come to her for it-- equally she's an attentive listener, and also gives her honest opinions. She believes everything happens for a reason, and so is constantly curious- learning new things everyday from always asking questions.

.:History:. Aspen Heckart was born on 11th January 1998 on the Farm Station of the Ark. Like many children, Aspen was fascinated by Earth's history—captivated by the stories told on Unity Day, and had dreams of seeing blue skies and green grass from an early age. She held on to that memory all through her childhood, until it blossomed into a passion for the knowledge of Earth's history, and also its future. Aspen spent most of her days with her head buried in Earth archives; taking a particular interest in the Earth animals that once roamed the planet. Aside from reading, Aspen works as a cultivator on her home station—growing plants & vegetables alongside her mother & father. The work is tedious, but Aspen does enough to get by each day on The Ark, as she firmly believes that they will return to the ground, and that what skill she learns from farming will stand her good stead in the future of human survival on Earth. Her dream came true when Aspen was 18 years old though, not in the best way. After learning of the Chancellors secrets-- failing oxygen supply, sending all the inmates of the Sky Box to the ground--the Council elected to take the Ark down to Earth. It was incredibly dangerous but it was the only way to ensure that the human race go on living. Today, Aspen lives in Arkadia-- a new base camp forged under the shadow of the fallen Ark, and a safe haven for its few survivors.
