whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy couldn't be in the city walls right now. Too much had happened. Too much was happening. Ties had been severed; lives lost. It was overwhelming to say the least. And on top of all that . . . they were now the 13th Clan. That alone made him all the more frustrated with the people who had agreed to this offer, ignoring the history they had with the woman who abandoned them. But it wasn't Kane or Abby's weight to carry; they didn't have the burden of over 300 deaths on them. And Clarke . . . well, he was done with trying to ask her, plead with her, beg her to come home. The one person who had brought him such happiness in these past few months, was dead. Because of his naivety.
Because of how easily manipulated he was. He could easily be angry at the others; but he was most angry with himself. For allowing it to happen. For being such a damn idiot and believing the word of a woman he thought he could trust. It was all enough to draw him outside, wandering the wooded area. His leg was still not fully healed but it was getting there. He had just over used it and apparently, it needed to rest. Apparently . . . it would heal in no time. But he didn't give a damn about his leg right now. He just needed to clear his head. Which was what brought him to what he was doing; trudging through the woods with no set direction, no set purpose. Other than to be away from everything and everyone. When really, the one person he needed to escape the most . . . was himself.

They had to make it as far as they could before Nia knew they were gone. With the unrest going on, it would take her longer then it might have under normal events--however Nia's eyes were on Polis, and not on Echo. It was why she had taken her daughter and went south. Luna wouldn't risk taking in anyone that would cause her trouble, and Echo would not stay with any she deemed weak. She was headed much more south, beyond the clans if she could. Beyond Lexa's or Nia's reach.
Her daughter, whom was six, followed by her side as they kept moving. They walked silently in the woods, for even Hali new the dangers. While she might not know the details, Echo had never lied to her about what was int he world. That would only make Hali weak, and Echo despised weakness. When she heard another moving around she reached out to still her daughter, while pulling a blade out. She wasn't an idiot. She had lead them into a trap and gotten many of them killed. Nia had used her daughter to make sure it was done. Now she was a clanless. And was caught in the open.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT A nearby rustling pulled Bellamy out of his thoughts, immediately on high alert. He raised the gun in the direction of where the sound was coming from. It didn't take much longer than that until two figures came into his view. His gaze rested more so on the adult. The woman whom he had trusted and who had manipulated him . . . resulting in the death of so many of their people. And Gena. That was enough to make him all the more enraged that she dared be in his presence.
He could kill her where she stood . . . though he knew he wouldn't. It was only after several moments that it registered a child was among them as well. He briefly glanced toward the girl as he lowered his weapon, but didn't lower his guard. Glancing atthe girl, he looked toward Echo once more. "You have some nerve showing your face here." So close to Arker territory. And what? Bringing a child as a safety net? What the hell did she want from him now. Because if she thought she was going to get his help, she had another thing coming.

It was worse then an Skyperson--it was Bellamy. Echo didn't lower her blade until he did his gun. Even then she made sure to shift constantly so that if he moved, she moved, and was always between him and Hali. While she would have once trusted him, she didn't any longer. She had led him into a trap, and she had seen the results of his anger before. He had killed children then too. He had killed everyone then. He spoke, but she didn't reply at first, as she was trying to tell if he was alone, and her next coarse of action. Running was out of the question, he had his weapon and he he wanted her dead she didn't stand a chance long range.
Which meant she needed to know the risks. How angry was he? And was he here too kill. "I am not here for you." She told him, still not looking away from his face, or moving to expose her daughter. She was just passing through but she wasn't about to admit she was here, alone, and on the run. "Go back behind your wall." Before Azgeda caught him here alone---before they caught either of them out here alone. Everything was tense right now, and if either of them were caught they would be killed. Her for abandoning her people, him for being who he was.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Her response didn't come as a surprise. She was someone whom he once trusted. And who betrayed them. Just like Grounders all did. It would have even swayed Pike's perceptions of them. But it didn't. And so many people died. Because of Bellamy's misplaced trust. "This is our territory," he explained, as she had crossed over into it. And . . . well, the last time she had, he had defended her and believed her. He didn't trust her incentives now. He never would. But nor could he ignore the young girl by the woman.
"What the hell are you doing here?" A direct question that he expected an answer to. Why was she on their land? Hadn't she done enough damage to them? They were . . . what had Kane said, 'collateral damage in the war against Lexa'. And yet, no Grounders lives were lost. Only their own peoples. Echo's hand in that . . . her using Bellamy, made it personal. It made him even more angry toward her. Hurt by her. And yet, he kept himself restrained . . . not for Echo. But for the young girl who was also in their presence.

"This is our territory," She knew that, it was why she was crossing it. Her people did not go too deeply into the Skykru's lands unless armed in number. She needed quick, and she needed safe--after weighing the odds, this one had been her best chance. Had she known she would meet him while doing ti, Echo might not have risked it. Her eyes looked for the others in his 'our' but she saw no one. She would have heard if more approached, but she had only heard the one. And even then not until it was too late. Echo said nothing to his first words, and was debating on running until he spoke again. "What the hell are you doing here?" She wouldn't admit to being on her own and on the run, not while she didn't know the extend of his anger. She needed to find a way to make him send her on her way, so she could get her daughter to safety. She could feel Hali moving to peek out from behind her, but Echo never moved her eyes away from the weapon before her. He was dangerous in wrath and she wasn't going down like the mountain did. "You should return to your people." She told him once again, knowing she would be followed. "And let us be on our way. We are not here for your people." This didn't need to be a fight.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT She once again evaded his question. Refusing to answer. She was damn lucky there was a kid here. A child who's identiy still remained unknown to him. "You'll understand why I don't believe you," he retorted when she claimed that she was not here for his people. He had no reason to trust her, and like hell he was going to let her roam around their land. "The last time I did, nearly fifty of my people died." Including Gena. Bellamy would never forgive her for that. But really . . . he knew that he was more to blame than anyone else.
Grounders had never done anything for their people; it was naive to believe that Echo was any different. "So I'm going to ask again, why are you here?" The temptation to bring her in was strong . . . but the child, was what prevented him from doing so. At least now. Besides, last thing she needed to see was the inside of Arkadia. She could easily report things back to her queen. His eyes fell to the young kid, another reason that Bellamy's gun remained lowered.

He didn't believe her. Smart man. She had been send to lie and manipulate the situation, and she had done it--for her daughter. Everything she had done was for her. Echo didn't care that they had hollowed out the mountain in effort to send a message to Lexa--she would have supported it--but she wasn't going to let him die. He had kept his word, and she had been unable to keep her's. Lexa's cowardice would be her down fall. She regretted his people were the price, but blood would have blood. She had gotten him and his sister out. It had been more then she was ordered too. If Nia knew then she would have killed Hali on the spot. It had been a risk, but she'd done it for the dept she'd owed him.
"So I'm going to ask again, why are you here?" She saw his eyes fall to Hali, and Echo's hand moved out to push her back behind. She didn't want him thinking to take revenge. He had killed children before. "I am only passing through," She bit out, tired of the circles they spoke in. "And am in a hurry, so go back behind your wall, and let me be on my way." This time her daughter moved to Echo's other side to peek out, stepping more out from behind her mother. It was then she also heard movement out int he woods. Echo pulled Hali closer to her, and looked around, before looking back at Belomi. "Are you with others?" If not then the hunters who would be sent after her were close. Either way she needed to disappear.
