whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy didn't care how reckless this was. They were wasting time hiding out in a cave. Who knows when the massive army was going to be fully out of sight. And by the time they were, they would lose Clarke's trail. Bellamy couldn't let that happen. He took advantage of the fact that everyone was distracted with catching up. . . and took the clothes off one of the dead Grounders, dressing himself in it. After all, this wouldn't be the first time that Bellamy stole the clothes from a body to go undercover. The last person he had killed and taken from was Lovejoy. Now, it was an Azgeda warrior. But desperate times always called for such desperate measures. This was hardly an exception to that statement. Once he was adequately dressed, he quietly snuck out of the cave, undetected. He had no idea how long it would be until his company went unnoticed but he was sincerely hoping that by that time, he would have crossed the field and the others would have to wait out the army.
For he was well aware that they would try to convince him to go back . . . and he wasn't about to put their own lives at risk in such a way. Stepping out to join the others he discreetly blended in with the rest of them. He changed his gait, he changed his demeanor, his eyes carefully looking around, keenly observing his surroundings. This was risky, reckless . . . but he didn't care. Clarkes' life was at stake and he sure as hell wasn't going to sit idly by and let it happen. Bellamy crossed paths with another warrior who stopped and grabbed him. Bellamy just looked at the man, keeping himself stoic and composed, and silent if possible. Which, wasn't too difficult. Grounders weren't exactly excessive talkers. The Grounder said something to him, and Bellamy was able to piece most of it together, he just nodded in response, aware that his accent could be off and that it would give him away. The warrior seemed unsatisfied by his insufficient answer. He told him to speak and that was when Bellamy knew that this could be the very moment that he was screwed.

Finally they marched on Polais. The commander would be no more. Echo wasn't sure of the plan--she knew she was not of the ones who knew--but she cared not. She only knew that Nia was livid, and this was her chance to find blood for blood! Too many of her people had died, one at a time, to the mountain. Now rumor's were the Sky People made many trips to there. That they were either taking it's weapons or moving camp there. Either way, it was an uneasy feeling to know they could have another undefeatable foe. Lexa did nothing.
Echo did not hate the Sky People, like many of her people did, but nor did she like the idea of them taking the mountain. It should be burned! It was a place of death, and it was only fit for demons. She was not marching to Polias to stop this--she was going for blood. Politics could be left to the others.
One of the warriors was marching the wrong way, and another turned him to the right way, demanding he walk straight. It didn't take long before the warrior begin walking sideways again. Echo moved forward to intercept the confused one, grabbing his shoulder and pushing him toward the correct path. She was about to snap at him when she looked at his face. At first it was just a feeling, but after a second she knew who it was--she'd known it anywhere. Bellamy of the Sky People. A wanheda in his own right, though thankfully she had never told his name--knowing that Nia would want the power of killing wanheda for herself, thus taking the power of all the lives they'd killed. She'd protected him in that.
Standing there, she knew she'd draw attention. However she felt torn for a moment. WHY was he here?! Who did he kill for the clothes? Moving to stand by his side, she spoke. "Walk with them," She demanded, "Why are you here?"

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy was intercepted by another Grounder . . . but this one gave him more ease. Echo. The woman who he had been next to in a cage when captured by the Mountain Men. The one who had helped shut up the army when they were too loud. He knew he shouldn't be surprised to see her among her own people, for he was the one out of place here. But . . . he also had not expected to see her. She was telling him to walk with them, and right now, he needed to, but only for a few steps. After a short while, once the attention was off of him, he would turn back to the direction he needed to go. Toward Clarke. Bellamy felt a surge of annoyance at the fact that he was walking the wrong way from where he wanted to, but Echo's question helped disract him.
"I'm looking for someone." He didn't know if it would be safe to inform her who exactly he was looking for . . . since Nia was looking for her too. And for a reason that would result in Clarke's death. "I need to break off." Revealing that who he was looking for was not actually within the army. His words were a request for her if she had any ideas of how to do that, before he just went ahead and did it. He was already reckless enough by doing this . . . anything else that came after would be equally as impulsive.

"I'm looking for someone." He told her, and it didn't take Echo but a moment to know who he was looking for--everyone here was looking for someone. She could guess who it was. "I need to break off." Was she near? Echo was torn, because on one hand she was loyal to Nia and unquestionably so--and on the other she owed a dept of blood. She wasn't sure which was stronger, loyalty or honor. "And the warrior's clothes you were? When someone looks for him will they find death?" She asked, trying to make up her mind.
A part of her already knew what would happen. She would do nothing to expose him, and she would aid him into walking from this place--then she would think no more on it. Wanheda could not hide int he Ice Nation forever, and she was not about to pit the next army against him . . . not after seeing him kill the last one. There was no magic here to aid him in killing everyone, but the Sky People were ruthless. They killed without mercy, and their enimeies suffered great losses. It was not a war she'd help start. "I will send you to scout, once the elder is a bit more away. Stay the curse." For another few moments until it was safe. "You seek one of your people?" She asked, knowing there was many of his up here.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Echo asked in her typical Grounder way if Bellamy had taken a dead man's clothes. This would be the second time he wore a corpse's attire, but at least this time, he was not the one to kill him. "Yes," he answered bluntly. "But he was dead when I found him." Not that he felt the need to justify it. He was merely making it a point that someone else was killing Azgeda warriors right now. That, and he made sure to make his presence singular so that they were not suspicious of Monty, Kane, Pike and Hannah. "The one who killed him has my friend." Based on what Bellamy had seen, it was a sound, logical assumption. Clarke was in danger from whoever had her.
He would probably be taking her to Nia. And that, was worst case scenario. She then gave him an out told him that she would send him to scout but to stay on course. Bellamy was grateful for her help but impatient at the same time. It was after all his impatience that had prompted his recklesness and impulsive actions. He didn't have a second to waste. "Yes," he continued to answer. He wasn't sure how much he should tell her. While he trusted her to an extent, he was unsure what the name Wanheda did to Grounders. And it was a big risk to take. "They passed through here right before your army came." They had just missed her. She had slipped through through his fingers, and he wouldn't -- couldn't -- let it happen again.
