She had never planned to be this. Ever since she was old enough to train as a warrior, she had trained to fight and die for her people. This stillness that came with motherhood was unknown to her. She didn't train or scout while her baby was so small, and this wasn't the life she had ever wanted--but it was one she had embraced and loved now. Echo held up her daughter under her arms, and let he legs work to mock walk over the fire warmed floor. She wanted her to grow strong! "Os ai strik gada!" Echo praised her infant's efforts, even though she knew that it wasn't her really walking. This was the first step in training the children to walk, and she was going to make sure that the daughter of Vallier and Echo of the Ice Nation was going to be the strongest of the strong!
Lifting her up, Echo smiled down at her daughter before laying her down on the floor--close enough tot he fire to stay warm but not so close she was in danger of embers flying out to burn her. Then Echo moved to the side of the home that she shared with Vallier to begin breaking up some meat to cook over the fire now that it had been drained all the way. It would not be long before Rosa was sleeping and Echo would find the house too still and quite. It was the only part of her new life she didn't like. When Vallier was away, and her daughter sleeping, the restlessness set in.
She was sued to hunting, moving out into the world, and going to far off places for information and spying. She knew that with her daughter so young that she could not go far from her for long, and she never regretted or felt bitterness toward her for it--but the silence and restlessness were not things she like. It would be good when Vallier was home. She never felt either when he was. It was love, and warriors were raised to think love was weakness, but Echo had so far only found strength in it. They pushed each other hard, and where she was weak (long term thinking, strategies) he was strong, and where he was weak she was strong. It worked out well.

vallier | bellamy AI LAIK WAMPLEI Bellamy Blake. That was his true name. But here . . . here, he was Vallier. The dual identities were making his head spin. The danger of exposing each one immense. Here, it was putting Octavia and his father at risk. Nia would be far from pleased to find out he was actually a Sky Person. He made no plans to tell her. Knowing what she was capable of, what she had once done to a lover of an enemy . . . he could not put that same risk on his family. His, other family. For here, he also had one. This was a family he had chosen. The other was one he was given. Both . . . were a blessing. Yet it also made him torn. Where did his alliance lie? The answer was no longer a simple: with my family. It was on two sides.
Two opposing sides. Two enemies. He needed to transform back to Vallier. After his memories came flooding back, he no longer knew how to act but now . . . it was a matter of security and safety. He had to force the warrior in him that he had been living as for the past 18 months. He also could not keep this from Echo. She knew him better than anyone else. She would be able to tell eventually. He loved her and she deserved to know this. Even though he already knew she would not be happy about it. Making his way into their territory, he quickly briefed the guards on what happened. He didn't want to linger around them for long and they understood.
He was a father and they did not stop him from seeing his daughter or lover. When Vallier entered their home, he closed the door behind him and took in the sight of the woman he loved as well as Rosa. He approached his daughter, gently picking her up in his arms, taking in that scent that only a child had. "Ai strik prisa." My little princess He kissed her forehead, as he the held her securely against his chest while making his way over to Echo. The absences were hard. They were often used to being together, traveling together, but her maternal responsibilities prvetned that. And while Vallier missed them every second they were apart . . . he never regretted the life they had. Which, made this all the more difficult.
Standing next to Echo he leaned his face toward the side of her head. His lips lowered to be near her ear, though he really just wanted to bask in that sensation of being close to her. Her intoxicating scent, the way she made him feel every time he was near her. He was in love with her. There was no doubt about that. He closed his eyes, taking in this seemingly perfect moment of holding his daughter and leaning into the woman he loved. "How was everything?" He asked, speaking against her ear. He didn't want to think about anything else right now, apart from being back with his family. His, other family. He needed to just bask in that feeling before it would all go to hell. The crippling fear of it making both Bellamy and Vallier feel like he was suffocating.

Echo could hear someone outside, and the door opened. Even while her mind knew whom it was her body made her turn to check. Motherhood had made her protective. When she saw him she turned to face the door, want watched him lift his daughter up into his strong arms. No safer place. He called her his princess, and Echo had to hold back a smile. It had been an odd endearment at first, calling a infant such a title, but she had come to see that his daughter held that place of power for him. It was a well suited title. She didn't move as he came closer, though she no longer hide back her grin. Vallier was home. No more restless nights. Well, they might lack sleep but she would not be aimless in her lack of rest.
He moved closer, and his lips moved to her ear as they just stood there an basked in his safe return. He had been gone longer then expected, and while a warrior did not worry about what they could not control--she had begun to have such thoughts. They had not been welcome, but the sight of him eased them and Echo would never speak them. It was a weakness she would not dishonor him by showing lack of faith in him. "All is well." She answered him, letting that explain everything that had (not) happened in his away. Pulling back just enough to look at his face, Echo felt something was off. She couldn't even tell what it was, or why she thought that. She could just see his face, and see something about it was different. He must be tired from the trip. Had he hurried home to see them and not taken rest?
Echo lifted her hand to touch her daughter's head and placed a kiss there. In her own language she spoke to him, rather then the language of the warriors. "Put her to bed, and then I will do the same to you." Since their daughter was sleeping, she would welcome him home, and then feed him.

vallier AI LAIK WAMPLEI This was what love felt like. Not only the love between a father and daughter, but the intimate and romantic love between two people. It was a love Bellamy had never believed he could allow himself to feel . . . a lot that Vallier had found. Bellamy had never been in a relationship, but Vallier was. A completely committed one. That love didn't go away; it didn't just vanish just because he found his roots. And he wanted to remind himself of that. He wanted to experience that. He was well aware that he could lose her after he told her the truth.
He couldn't bare the thought and he would fight for her with every breath in his body. He wasn't ready to ever let her go. Her assurance that everything went well was a welcome relief. At least nothing had happened to her and their daughteer. Yes. That was good. He just wished it would remain consistenty like that. But . . . he had already endangered them, even if she didn't know it yet. This was why Bellamy hadn't permitted himself to love and be loved. Because of all the people he had failed. What if he failed Echo and Rosa as well?
She told him to put their child to bed, and that she would do the same. He looked at her, taking in her words; taking in the glorious sight of her. With a small nod, he turned to follow her words. He went to the room designated for Rosa, seating himself on a chair. He then began to gently rock her in his arms, lulling her to sleep. It didn't take long for her eyes to evidently grow heavy. With his memory returning . . . he could now recall when the last time he had held a baby apart from Rosa was.
And that . . . had been Octavia. He had raised helped raise her, an illegal second child. She had been his universe, and he had forgotten her. Looking at Rosa, he wondered if he could ever forget her like he had his family of blood. It broke his heart, made him feel like he failed them. He leaned down to kiss Rosa's forehead, her lack of movement indicating that she had fallen asleep. He felt as if he could hold her forever. He carefully moved her into her crib and just watched her for a few more moments, before he hesitantly left her to sleep and left the door just a crack open.
He paused outside her room, collecting himself, composing himself. This was not going to be easy. Taking a deep breath he returned to the main room to see Echo. "She's asleep," he confirmed, using their native language . . . it felt so natural to speak it with her. Even though English was technically his language. The inner conflict; the silent battle he fought within him was getting to be too much. Who was he? Bellamy or Vallier? Which identity would prevail? And whichever one did, would that mean the other identity would lose it's loved ones?

While he went to put his daughter to bed, Echo lit a fire in their room, before putting the meat on some ice to stay cold and not go bad. She had just finished as he came back in and spoke to her in the language of their people, telling her that Rosa was sleeping. Good. It would allow Echo to give Vallier a warrior's welcome home. She was a warrior as well, and knew that sometimes the best part of coming home was finding a warm place to sleep--they were each other's place now. They'd not held interest in others since they began this.
Echo stood that their door war to the room with the bed, and waited for him to join her. She could still see something in his face. Something was different. It was in the way he moved or spoke or looked. She couldn't even tell what it was right now. Reaching for his hand she went to pull him into the room but paused at the site of the bruises on his wrist. She looked up at him for a moment before reaching for his other one. It too was the same. She felt rage for whomever held him, and pride in the fact they longer did. "I will kill whoever dared take what is mine." She told him in their language, knowing he would do the same. She waited for no answer, only moved up to rest one hand on the back of his neck, and bring her lips to him. This was the moment for pride and gratefulness--later she would deal with the anger.

vallier AI LAIK WAMPLEI Bellamy moved closer to where she stood, ready to go to their room. They would have to talk later but right now, he just needed her. He needed to be in her warm embrace; he needed her to know that he loved her, and be reminded that she loved him. Bellamy didn't have to follow her gaze to be aware of what she took notice of. The marks on his wrist when he had been restrained. All would be explained later, and her words did not demand an explanation now. In fact, her words terrified him. Shook him to his core. Because . . . he believed her. And because, he feared that what was hers in a way, was already taken.
What if she blamed Octavia, Marcus, or any of the other Sky People for taking that away from him; from stealing that identity and replacing it with his true one? What if she took out her anger on them? The thought scared him, but fortunately . . . her kiss eased it. Not because it was forgoten, but because he could channel his full concentration and focus on her. On this. On them. He breathed into the kiss, instantly deepening it, not shy of showing his full need for her. His arms wrapped tightly around her body, slightly lifting her up so that her legs could wrap around his waist to make it easier to carry her to the bed.
He didn't want to waste a moment. There was only so long he could withhold the truth. He set her on the bed and promptly removed his shirt before assuming position on top of her, his lips hungrily returning to hers. He was filled with need and yet wanted to savor this, as it could very well be the last time they were together. He forced his actions to slow, easing out of the kissm breathing against her lips, resting his forehead against hers. "Ai hod yu in." His words felt as natural as it was to breath, spoken in a low tone but thickened with sincerity. He needed her to know this. That no matter what happened, he meant it. The words that Bellamy Blake had never dared say . . . the ones that Vallier could roll off his tongue with such ease. I love you.

He kissed her back, deeply and Echo knew he approved of her words. They were warriors, and any who dared touch their family would die by the hand of the other! It was the way of them! Warriors defended their families, no matter the cost. He wrapped his arms around her, and lifted her up as effortless as he seemed to do their daughter, while Echo wrapped her legs around his waist. While this was normally the manly dominance she didn't get turned on for, with Vallier he had a way of making her enjoy it, like she never had before. There was something in the way he touched her that made her feel they shared control, rather then she gave it up.
Vallier put her on the bed, before removing his shirt and joining her. Echo enjoyed the sight of the markings that covered him, before he covered her. Her hands moving over his skin to trace them. It was off how he had been clean upon finding him, but that had not lasted long. Warriors, and even non-warriors--all were covered with the markings. Now he looked like one of them, spoke like them, and was one of them--the Tree Nation had lost one of their own. That was were she guessed him from. Or one of the others. He was Ice Nation now, and they'd never give him up.
He pulled back from the kiss, and rested his forehead on her's. She closed her eyes and just breathed in his scent. "Ai hod yu in." He told her he loved her, and Echo's hands moved up to the sides of his face while she opened her eyes to look into his. "Ai hodnes yu en nou moun." She loved him and no other. For Echo this was powerful and she meant it in ways she had never meant it before. Moving forward she kissed him again, proving her words with her kiss, while her hands moved to his shoulders to pull him closer to her.

vallier AI LAIK WAMPLEI Her words were perfect. A reciprocation of his own words. He basked in them, allowing them to replay over and over in his mind. Whatever happened after tonight . . . he never wanted to forget. That he had loved and allowed himself to be loved. That he had the privelege, the honor of experiencing what love was in such a wonderful extent. Echo had given him that. She had given him a daughter as well. He didn't want to lose her, he couldn't. And yet, he had to think of what was best for her. He was all too grateful and relieved when her lips went to his, thus the distraction of his thoughts.
Tonight was about feeling. At least right now. He moved his mouth against hers, slipping his tongue between her lips to drink in her delicious taste. His hands went to her waist and in one swift motion, he turned them, so that he was now on his back and she was on top of him. He wanted to watch her. He wanted to memorize every detail on her face. The way she looked, sounded, felt, when they made love. If this would be the last time, he wanted to savor it and be aware of every single detail about her. He knew she was dominant, and he always enjoyed the power play they would have in bed -- all in good fun of course. But tonight, he just wanted to see her, knowing that the best angle he would get was with her on top of him.

Vallier kissed her and Echo loved how his taste filled her lips. She'd missed him and it was hard for her to admit she missed anyone; though she make sure he knew it in other way. How she clung to him slightly harder in bed, or kissed him goodbye a longer kiss. How she welcomed him home with nothing held back. She had been raised to know love was weakness, and he was her's! But she felt strong rather then weak, and she loved that feeling.
He turned them, so he was on his back, giving her the upper hand without a playful fight tonight. Her hand went to brace herself by his head, while she leaned down to kiss him deeply, her hips rocking over his to make sure he was as ready as she was for what was to come. Lifting up to sit over him, she pulled her shirt off over her head, dropping it beside the bed. Her hands moved to his, bringing them to the fastenings of her pants while her hands roamed over his chest. She noticed the bruises there too, but would not ask about them until later tonight. He was home now, and safe--and nothing could hurt them any more.

vallier AI LAIK WAMPLEI Feeling her hips rock against him only further intensified his already growing ache for her. He had thought of her so much during his travels, when he had been 'captured' and then in the days that followed. The fear of losing her was crippling, but right now, he was only focusing on them. On expressing the love he felt for her while he'd already verbalized it. She moved up to take her shirt off and Bellamy -- or Vallier he supposed he was to her -- just watched.
His eyes fixated on her face, before it slowly lingered over her body, taking in every single detail. She guided his hands to the fastening of her pants and when his fingers were there, he undid them, pulling them down and relying on her as well to slightly lift herself so that he could lower them to where he wanted them . . . and thus, make it easier to take them off. Just as his eyes had trailed over the upper half of her unclad body, they lingered to her lower half. His hands grazed over her upper thighs in a repated caress of upward and downward motions.

Her hands explored the ripples and dips that his muscles had left over his skin, pausing whenever she found a scar to trace over it with a bit of pride behind each one--for with their people scars were a thing of pride. You earned them from battle, and training. It was a sign your enemies missed, and you triumphed! She had to stop such things when Vallier tugged her pants down, taking everything under it with them. Lifting up form him she helped remove them, before tossing them away, and sitting astride him.
Leaning down to kiss him, Echo let her lips linger there, before she bit at his jaw. Nipping the skin, before sucking on it and letting her tongue taste over the same place to sooth the bite. She then did the same to where the jaw line meet his neck, and where the neck meet his collar bone, before trailing down over his chest. Again she followed the ridges and dips, giving attention to each scar, before her hands finally joined in the dance, unlacing his own pants, and pulling them open just enough to free him.
Climbing, and turning, she turned around so that her back was too him, and she could move her hips toward his face. This way they could please each other, before they made love. Her lips moved tot he head of his little warrior and she licked him, moving her lips around it, and sucked. Soon her head began to bob up and down as she sought to get him close.

vallier AI LAIK WAMPLEI Once her pants were removed, they were tossed along with whatever other clothing they had impatiently shed themselves of. She leaned down, her teeth biting his jaw, causing him to deeply inhale . . . enjoying that mixture of a little pain which only intensified the pleasure. He knew just how different being with her was compared to past women -- not that he could actually recall his previous sexcapades. Every nip, every glide of her tongue . . . felt sensation. He strongly swallowed, his jaw clenching with how good it felt.
And it seemed that was only the start, for she tehn began to turn over him, her lips nearing his aching core. He parted his lips, using his tongue to wet them now that he no longer had her mouth to do so. Though, he was met with another enjoyable part of her body. The moment he felt her take him into his mouth, he closed his eyes, tightly squeezing them shut. His head sunk back into the pillow, an involuntary groan rumbling from deep within his throat.
He was fully aware of how selfish it was to take and not give. So once he regained his wits about him, he further opened his mouth, taking her into it. He slipped his tongue inside, caressing her inner walls, his hands gripping her behind to keep her in place as he used his teeth and tongue to caress and massage her center. Another groan from his own pleasure caused his mouth to vibrate against her core, making him want to return the enjoyment of what she was making him feel. He pushed his tongue deeper inside of her, working her to reach that peak of euphoric bliss.
