Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit! She couldn’t think that enough times! What..What in the hell was this?! What was she reading here?! Why in the hell would they do this?! Yeah..People were locked up in juvy for a reason. She didn’t doubt that. But no one was supposed to be executed until they were 18! And this...Was this worse than being floated?! At least then death came quick. But radiation...That could be long and gruesome.
Alright..Alright..She had to calm down and think about what to do. Should she confront Mom or Pops? She couldn’t just pretend she hadn’t seen it! These were..people’s lives! Cas might not be a saint. She might not always follow the rules. (In fact, she broke them quite often.) But she wasn’t a murderer. And even when it came to other murderers, she didn’t want to see them dead not if it could be avoided. Making all those people guinea pigs...
She supposed the most important question was why now. What had made someone so desperate to concoct this mad plan?! Right..In any case...She shouldn’t stay here. The longer she lingered, the greater the odds were someone would catch her. Cas could think all she wanted back in her room.
Right..just...Should she make a copy? Did she really want that sort of information on her person?! But without it, there’d be no proof. Well..Time was tick, tick, ticking away and still she stood there indecisive. Was it good enough to have the copy wired forever in her brain; or, did she want something a little more substantial?
The choice was taken from her when the door creaked open. Her heart caught in her throat as she looked up to see none other than Pops. Oh she was royally screwed now!
There was no point in playing dumb, not with her location, not with the files laid out on the screen.
“Did you know?” she asked softly. “Please dear god tell me you didn’t!”
