Hunter was out of it for a while and when he opened his eyes, everything was foggy and he could barely see anything because of the smoke surrounding him. His ears were filled with a loud ringing that seemed to continue to infinity and he couldn't even hear his own coughing as his lungs tried to reject the smoke that had filled his chest. He sat up panting and coughing and squinted as he could see fire through the blurr. The tunnels he'd just left a few minutes before were engulfed in flames and rubble had flattened the grass around him, some black and singed from the fire. Something wet and sticky was clinging to the right side og his face and dripping from his eyelashes and when he touched his forehead, a sharp pain ran through his head and his hand came back painted red. He looks down at his right arm and could only see red and his shirt ripped and black at his shoulder, but he couldn't really register any pain.
The boy's movement looked robotic, as if he'd memorized them when, he got up and he staggered a little before he found his balance. It was as if his body was moving on its own, just away from the heat and devastation. He fell back to the ground once he was moving down the slope from Mount Weather, but got up right away, not even noticing his scraped palms and knees. Hunter wobbled like a drunk through the woods, occasionally bumping into trees or bushes, thorns cutting his skin and combined with his the blood matting down his hair and covering half of his face and the length of his right arm, his clothes ripped and burned, he looked like something straight out of a horror movie.
Hunter's mind wasn't even consciously present, his limbs moving on their own. It was as if his body had saved a map to get him home, his survival instincts kicking in to get him back to Arkadia. It was his luck that no Grounders crossed his path, because he was only capable to make the trip back to camp in his trance-like state. Still, it would be a miracle if he could make it back safely, that is not more hurt than he already was.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy felt numb. As if everything just stilled, as his mind desperately tried to process the information. He had made a choice. He had trusted the wrong person. And both that decision and trust had resulted in the death of nearly fifty of their people. Including Gena. She was dead . . . because of him. Because she went to Mount Weather to support him, knowing how difficult the ventures were were. Yet, she had come. And she had died from it. Bellamy had broken from the rest of the team that had come to search the rubble for survivors, though they all knew without even having to look that everyone was dead.
Only Raven and Sinclair had managed to get out. Men. Women. Children. Bellamy wondered how many times this would happen. How many times people would die because of him. As he made his way through the path, he heard a rustling of leaves in the not so far distance. His guard was immediately raised as he lifted his gun and followed the sounds. It could be a grounder spy. And Bellamy knew now more than ever, that Grounders could not be trusted.
When he discovered the source, he paused, lowering the gun immediately and letting it hand over his shoulder with the strap as he advanced toward the child. "Hey," he said in a calm voice, crouching in front of him and making direct eye contact, though instinct made him want to assess his injuries right away. He needed to see how coherent he was. "I'm Bellamy," he told him, his hand gently going to the boys shoulder. "You're safe now." Because that, was more important to reassure the boy of than anything else.

Hunter's eyes, their blue even more striking with the stark contrast of the ashes and blood covering his face, seemed blank. Only on the edge of his conciousness was he aware that he had stopped moving. His ears were still filled with the ringing of the explosion, blood trickling out of one of them because his eardrum had been shattered, but he was too numb to notice the pain of any of his injuries. His eyes seemed to wander at first, even when Bellamy crouched down in front of him, but then his figure was something clear that he could hold on to and he stared directly at him, his blue eyes looking wild and haunted. He suddenly held on to the young guard's arms, his fingertips almost like claws as they dug into the fabric of the uniform as if holding on for dear life.
„My mom, she's….she's still..“, Hunter began, panting but he was breathing so heavily and still so confused that he couldn't go on talking. Tears that he didn't know had built up inside his chest and then his eyes were starting to run down his cheeks, drawing clear lines into the dirt and blood covering his face. There was this sticker still stuck to his shirt. It was a name tag really, he'd found it in one of the class rooms of Mount Weather. It was a white, rectangular sticker that said 'Hello, my name is…' and he'd written his own name underneath it with a black pen. It was barely white anymore, covered with the same dirt as his whole body was, but the word 'Hunter' written in his own handwriting could still be read. He finally let himself fall against Bellamy's chest as he didn't have the energy to hold himself up on his legs anymore.
