.:Personality:. Mel is a very average girl. She followed the rules her whole life, and had expected to live it out on the Ark. She was alright in school, and had even begun working on getting her grades up so she could try to get into a high education school and become a teacher. Mel is respected and liked by most, and while sassy isn't rude about it. That all changed after the crash. Being the only one left from her station affected her. Her parents, her friends, everyone she knew was dead in an instant. It left her changed. Unsure of who she was meant to be in a world where her skills meant nothing anymore.

.:History:. Mel had a normal life for a girl living on a space station. She had loving parents, a lots of friends, and did good in school. By the time she was 17 she decided she wanted to try to get her grades up and become an educator herself. She was working on finishing her last few months of school when everything changed on the Ark. First, there wasn't enough air. This took her grandfather's life. Then they were going to Earth, and the crash would take everyone's life. Mel would end up the only loving survivor of the Factory Station crash. Everyone she once knew and loved was dead and gone. The world--the only one she'd ever known--was gone before her eyes.

And so began the world on the ground. The world she'd have to learn to live in.
