Dax has dark blue eyes and light brown hair. He is tall with a slim built. He can be very athletic and toned. He is tan and has a rather oval shaped face that helps frame his eyes. His eyes tend to god between light and dark blues but it depends on his moods. he is always hiding his face with some type of hood but every now and again you'll catch him without it.

Dax can quite violent when it comes to certain situations as seen when he beat Murphy without honest proof of what happened. Also was proven to be careless when it came to killing Bellamy and Clarke but then you realize that it was just to get his mother to the ground and they showed just how caring he was. He may not show that very often but it's there. He tends to hang around by himself so he's not included in much drama but he does get involved when it's violent. He is also very quiet and closed up around people because he's isn't very good at trusting people he doesn't know very well.

Dax was put away after beating a man to death for stealing something from him. He is then sent to prison where he is to say until he turns 18 then will be dealt with as an adult. After being there for awhile he was then placed into a class that was taught by Pike, Earth Skills. Not know what was really happening he didn't pay much attention just like the rest of the other kids in the room. While the lessons went on he did find the lesson about fire interesting but didn't really think much about actually using it. On the last day of class Pike had started to beat on Murphy, just watching at first till it got bad he then grabbed Pike to get him away before the guards would come in the room.

Dax had watched many of the conflicts between people on the ground especially the one when Murphy is accused of killing Wells. At first he just watched but didn't hesitate to jump in when Murphy was getting be beat up. After getting a radio to work so that people could talk with others on the ark, Dax was working until Clarke had told him that his mother wanted to speak with him. He quick made his way to the area where the radio was set up but finds that it isn't his mother but Commander Shumway. The Commander then offers him a deal that if he kills Bellamy, he will make sure that his mother is on the first dropship to Earth. Immediately agree to the deal, he then follows Bellamy and Clarke into the woods. He watched them for awhile waiting for Bellamy to come out of the bunker. Once Bellamy does come out, he knocks Clarke out and takes a gun. He tracks Bellamy and shoots him only to find the bullet was a blank one. Clarke shows up not to long after that and tries to talk Dax down and that caused him to tell her about the deal he made with the Commander and told her to leave. After she refused he then chose to kill her as well as Bellamy. Bellamy, Clarke and Dax all fight but in the end, Bellamy stabs Dax in the neck with a bullet.
