.:Physical Appearance:.
Cassie has a lean and delicate body, with auburn hair that falls like ribbons over her taut shoulders, ending half-way down her spine. She's lovely maybe one day out of thirty when her hair falls just right to cast shadows over the most ordinary angles of her face, but other than that she cannot hope to be called pretty. Her eyes are her most enchanting features; a fetching jade, she dons them quite proudly. She stands at about 5'1" (155 cm) and weighs approximately 101 pounds (45 kg). She has been told that she carries the scent of cherry blossoms.
.:Height:. 5 feet 1 inch (155 cm).
.:Portrayed by:. Mackenzie Foy.

.:Personality:.
Cassie has been a visionary for as long as she can remember, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of situations and people. While she may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, she is far from fearful when defending the things that she is passionate about. Cassie has always felt the risk of being misunderstood, but when she finds like-minded people to spend her time with, she spills over with delight.
When deciding how to move forward, she will look to honor, beauty, morality, and virtue—she is led by the purity of her intent, not bounty and discipline. She is proud of this quality, and rightly so, but not everyone can unravel the drive behind her compassion, and it often leads to isolation. At her best, the strength of her intuition lends itself well when connecting with others. Understanding herself and her place is important to Cassie, and she explores these ideas more and more each day.
Unlike those who are extroverted, she will focus her attention on just a few people at a time—spread too thinly, she’ll run out of energy, and become overwhelmed by all the bad that she can’t fix. If she is not careful, she can lose herself in her quest for good and neglect her responsibilities. Left unchecked, she may start to lose touch, and it can take a great deal of energy to bring her back.
.:Special Skills:.
Photographic Memory — can recall with great accuracy objects, text, and images seen for brief periods of time.
Strong Breath Control — being able to control her breathing rate, which allows her to survive without oxygen for longer periods of time.

.:Birthplace:. Mount Weather.
.:Family:. Alcyone Steele, mother ;; Christopher [ deceased ] and Nicholas Steele, brothers.
.:Occupation:. Student.
.:History:.
Found outside of the Steele residence was a small angel; a little beauty whom had captured the heart of Alcyone Steele the moment her eyes were set upon the small child, for she was exquisite. Her cries would ring throughout the pre-war military base—cries which were sung like a melody by the infant, thus enhancing her angelic traits in the eyes of Alcyone. Every glance, every laugh, every smile the baby displayed melted her and she knew, right from day one that she wished to raise her; and that is exactly what she did.
Cassiopeia Steele was what she was named. Disguising the child as her own wasn't too difficult, for Alcyone was a pudgy woman (not massive by any means, but rather well fed) and could easily pass as pregnant. And while numerous people were surprised at the new arrival ("I had no idea you were even pregnant!" "I wanted to keep it a surprise, Eliza.") not many questioned Alcyone when she told them of little Cassie.
When Cassie was seven ten years old, Alcyone gave birth to a set of twin boys, Christopher and Nicholas. At first envious of the attention they received from the older woman (attention she felt was rightfully hers, being the "first-born" and everything), she grew to love them over time. When she was eight, there were nine consecutive days she wasn't allowed to be in the same room as the twins because they had a severe case of the flu. She cried six of the nine days, and vowed never to let them fall so terribly sick again. She kept to her promise for about two years, until they fell ill again, only this time Christopher passed on in his sleep. While Nicholas couldn't wrap his four year old brain around the tragedy, Cassie cried for three consecutive months.
The one hundred arrived on Cassie's thirteenth birthday. She forgot to remember how everything started, and forgot to ask how they were able to survive outside; a place children like her only ever read about in books. While most kids her age were eager to learn more about the grass and the trees, Cassie kept her distance; not out of fear, but out of mild disinterest (though she admittedly found herself listening in on occasion, whenever she heard one of the 100 speaking amongst themselves or to one of her own).
