Feel free to have the lift arrive in your post if you want. As Rylee began to describe what outside was like, Isaiah did his best to imagine what she was saying and to imagine what it would be like. He had seen pictures of course, paintings and photos that could show him just how beautiful it was but that was nothing like hearing the words of someone who had actually been outside. The way Rylee described it was beautiful, the words she used and the way that Isaiah turned them into images in his mind. It hurt, just a little bit, to think about the things he would never really ever get to experience like the rain that she described. He would never see the stars either, or smell the flowers. He shut his eyes, letting himself pause in her words before opening them up again and forcing a smile back onto his face. "It sounds beautiful," he told her. "Wish I could see it myself."
He couldn't say he was completely surprised by her mention of the store room filled with paintings. It wasn't far from where their dorms were and it wouldn't have been hard for her to come across it, especially with the fact that he knew she would have been looking around. That fact had been known since she first talked to him. He knew where the store room was, he had discovered it at quite a young age and multiple times pulled out of there by a guard scared he would damage the artworks. They didn't tend to keep the doors locked to that room, even if they probably had people in and out of it every day. "We can go there next, if you like," he suggested. He wasn't the biggest fan of art but he knew of many artworks in the room that depicted the outside and he could look at them for hours. |

I have cute kinda romantic like plans for them. At Rylee's comment about the outside, Isaiah thought for a moment that maybe she should have been grateful for the safety of Mount Weather. They had been the first outsiders to ever be allowed inside the mountain but that thought was quickly dismissed. She had been outside. Without a suit, just as she was without fear of being melted by radiation. Isaiah could only dream of such a thing. He was stuck inside Mount Weather and he knew he would be for his whole life. The radiation outside wasn't going to go away in the next sixty years, not enough for him to be able to safely go outside. "I can imagine the outside would be just a little bit bigger than in here," he said, giving her hand a light squeeze as he joked. He paused for a moment before deciding to ask the question he was thinking. "So, what is it actually like outside then?"
What he was showing her was definitely not top secret but he decided not to mention that. He was enjoying seeing her all excited and he actually started to wonder if agriculture would even be interesting enough for her. It wasn't the most interesting place in Mount Weather he had to admit. But then, he couldn't imagine her being too disappointed by the room he was planning to take her. Some of the sections, like roots where he worked, looked pretty uninteresting unless you knew what was happening under the surface. Some sections looked beautiful, at least Isaiah thought they did. He led Rylee to the lifts, scanning his card and pressing the button for the first floor. The door shut and he turned to Rylee with a grin. "Where have you snuck into so far?" he asked her. He was teasing but he also wouldn't be surprised if she had been sneaking around already, he made herself out to be that sort of person. |

Isaiah smiled when Bellamy did. Seeing him smiling helped to calm the nerves that Isaiah had to admit he felt about this. While he didn't feel overly embarrassed, he was definitely having trouble getting the events from earlier that day out of his head. It was hard to forget the fact that he had broken down and cried in front of Bellamy earlier. The smile did a bit to help and Isaiah liked seeing it also because Bellamy definitely looked cuter smiling than he had when he had been serious and working earlier. Isaiah sat down on the seat when Bellamy confirmed it was free, making sure to sit so that he could clearly see Bellamy. "Glad I'm here," he said. He definitely felt like he was on a date, as much as he definitely wasn't. Still, he had nerves that he didn't need to have and wasn't paying attention to anything but the person he was with. That was something of a date. Truthfully, he hadn't payed any attention to whoever was even performing.
When Bellamy asked if Isaiah wanted a drink, he paused before answering. He did want a drink, if only to help calm his nerves about being there with Bellamy but he was also worried that it might calm his nerves too much, leaving him open to say or do something he might regret later on. Then he really would never want to see Bellamy ever again. It was difficult to go about avoiding someone in Mount Weather, it was a small place and he would be bound to come across him every now and again. Isaiah would rather be on good terms with Bellamy - more than good terms, really - than deal with the awkwardness that came with avoiding people. He had definitely tried it before and had found it extremely difficult. "No, I'm good," he said, still smiling. "You have a friend performing?" He wasn't paying attention to what the performance was but he might as well ask about it, find out why Bellamy was even here. |

@mikha They're kissing! Such cuties! Isaiah's heart beat sped up when Maya took hold of his hand and he was frozen for a moment before her curled his fingers around her hand. Her skin was soft and Isaiah was sure that this was the first time he had actually touched her hand. It wasn't like he was in the habit of shaking hands with people when he met them, not those his own age at least. Maya spoke and while Isaiah did hear the words, he wasn't able to pay much attention to anything other than the fact that he was holding her hand and that she was now moving closer to him. Her eyes stayed on his and there was something in them that Isaiah wasn't familiar with. He couldn't look away from her. With the way his heart was beating he was almost worried that he would start sweating and that he would have to let go of Maya's hand.
When Maya leaned in and pressed her lips to his, Isaiah's eyes closed. Although it did take him a second to realise that it was actually happening. She was kissing him. Well, it was obvious that she had been having the same thoughts as him. He kissed her back, relief running through his body at knowing that he could do that without risk of her not wanting him to. As much as Isaiah didn't want the kiss to end, he let Maya pull back when she did and just took a moment to look at her. She was looking down, avoiding his gaze and Isaiah worried that maybe she hadn't liked that. Maybe it hadn't been what she had expected. Although she seemed to have the same thought as him. He smiled at her, his face genuinely bright as he spoke. "It was, um," he paused for a moment, "more than okay." With that he leaned down to kiss her again, his hand still holding Maya's while his hand went to rest at the side of Maya's face.

I'm learning more about Iah... Isaiah smiled as she shook his hand, introducing herself as Rylee. "Hallways not interesting enough for you?" he asked, teasing. While Isaiah hadn't seen the group when they had first come to Mount Weather and didn't actually know what places they had seen, he could take a guess that they didn't see much. The mess hall, the hallways and their dorm would have likely been most of the tour. Those were the only places that the group would need to survive, at least, and Isaiah couldn't imagine them being told about anything they didn't need to know about. He guessed, at least hoped, that if they were going to stay that they would be trained up to work and would then learn more and see more. "Outside wouldn't have hallways, I'm sure," he added. There was a hope that he might learn something new from that comment.
When she asked where they were off to first, Isaiah made the decision that he would take them to agriculture and decided to take her to one of the rooms that he knew no one else would be in that day. Better for him to not be caught out doing this. They hadn't been specifically told that they couldn't show the new kids around but Isaiah didn't want to take the chance. Especially when he still needed to work out why they had even been let in to Mount Weather. They didn't let savages inside, after all. "I think I'll keep it a surprise," he told her, still smiling. As much as Isaiah tended to be shyer than this, Rylee's confidence was catching and with his goal in mind, he found himself able to ignore the little bits of worry that tended to appear around new people. He reached out to take her hand in his. "Rylee, follow me." With a quick glance around to make sure they weren't being watched by anyone, Isaiah led Rylee out to the lifts. |

Godmodded Bellamy sitting. Hope that isn't a problem! XD Isaiah really shouldn't have been disappointed that Bellamy actually had to leave now, especially when he had been wishing for him to leave not to long ago but still, he was. Isaiah loved his work, it was his passion but part of him felt like he would skip it if it meant being able to spend more time with Bellamy. That was stupid. Yes, Bellamy was cute. Bellamy had also proven to be kind and caring. That definitely didn't mean that Isaiah should be going to extremes to see him. Especially after the situation in which he had met him. The fact that Bellamy had cared enough to put that extra effort into making sure he was okay just happened to have Isaiah feeling a little too positive towards him. Hopefully it would just fade as he continued his work for the day.
Instead of just walking away, Bellamy mentioned something that was happening at the lounge. Isaiah listened to him explain it, pointing out the fact that he wasn't performing at it - which had been Isaiah's first thought - before inviting Isaiah to go to it as well. Although not said, Isaiah wasn't an idiot and understood the fact that Bellamy was asking him to go with him. Isaiah racked his brain trying to think of some logical reason that Bellamy would be asking that, the want to spend more time together couldn't be mutual, not after the behavior that Bellamy had witnessed from Isaiah. So it definitely couldn't have been Bellamy asking Isaiah out, as much as a part of Isaiah sort of wished it could be. The same part paying attention to the fact that Bellamy was cute and kind and caring.
It was likely that Bellamy felt sorry for Isaiah and was asking him to come to the event because of that. Not that Isaiah particular cared about that. It was an excuse to see Bellamy again and maybe a chance to make a completely different impression to the one he had just made. Isaiah wasn't going to turn down such an opportunity. "Um, yeah, I'm free," Isaiah said, trying to focus on both smiling and not sniffling.. "I'll see you there." When Bellamy left, Isaiah took an old and worn handkerchief from his pocket and blew his nose. All he had to do was work, clean up and make sure he wore something nice. If he were to be completely honest with himself, he felt a little bit like a teenager in that moment.
When Isaiah finished work for the day he did exactly what he had planned. He showered and washed his face, removing any trace of his earlier stress and the day of work in agriculture. He dressed, finding what he thought to be the nicest shirt he currently owned - a dull blue coloured button-up - with tan pants and the pair of shoes he usually wore when he wasn't working. At the lounge, he scanned the room until he found Bellamy sitting and walked over to him. "Hey, this seat taken?" he asked, loosely gesturing to the seat next to where Bellamy was sitting. He didn't feel overly embarrassed to see the guard again and took that as a positive sign.

Finally he isn't wishing Bells away. Good Iah! It was a simple and obvious answer that Bellamy gave and probably the only answer that Isaiah really expected to hear but it was still good to hear. After the questioning and the way that Isaiah had freaked out, even if the idea of Bellamy staying had freaked him out in his state, it was definitely a good thing that he had done in staying. Isaiah admired that, if he were to be honest. The fact that Bellamy would go out of his way to step out of his job and be kind to someone who was in distress, While Isaiah did still feel embarrassed over crying and stressing, and while he still viewed his whole reaction as stupid, part of him wanted to go back on his thoughts about never talking to Bellamy again. At least he let himself think on the idea of getting to know the guard, if Bellamy would be interested. Which wouldn't be likely, really.
Well, if anything, he was definitely continuing to calm down now. If he was thinking like that, he was calming down for sure. His breathing was beginning to feel normal again and while he was still sniffling a bit and his eyes stung from the tears that he had shed, Isaiah couldn't see himself getting to a point of crying again now. That was really good. "Just a little traumatised," he said, managing a small laugh with the words that he really meant as a joke. He would be okay once he calmed down and he might even be able to continue being around Bellamy without feeling horrible. He hoped. His hand was still on Bellamy's shoulder and as he realised that, Isaiah dropped it back down to his side. "Um, thanks," he muttered as he slid his hands into the pockets of his jeans. |

That's the best I could get him to do. XD When Bellamy rose again to his feet, Isaiah felt himself panic a bit. That didn't make sense because he wanted Bellamy to go away, not to stay. Maybe it was the fact that Bellamy hadn't really answered his question about why he was still sitting there with Isaiah. As much as he felt himself stressed about crying in front of Bellamy, he also felt curious about why the guard had decided to stay even with the formalities over. He could imagine that Bellamy would have been used to people getting stressed in interviews and that he wouldn't particularly want to stay with them all. That wouldn't be part of his job at all. He looked up at Bellamy, his state calming just a bit from his thoughts. Maybe he would even be able to pull himself together completely from there.
It seemed that Bellamy was back to formalities and Isaiah quickly stood up to stop him from leaving. He was going to regret this, he was sure. The guy had already been witness to his stress and to him crying, Isaiah really should have let him go and saved them both the trouble. But he really wanted the answer to his last question. "Wait," he said, reaching out and placing a hand on Bellamy's shoulder. "Sorry. You didn't answer my question. Why didn't you just leave once the questioning was over?" His voice sounded a lot strong than it had before and Isaiah hoped that it sounded kinder too, although he wasn't sure that it did. He paused for a moment before adding: "I didn't think it was part of your job to calm stressed people down." He managed to smile at that ad sniffled again. At least he wasn't crying. That was good. |

Isaiah kept his gaze down as he sat there and sort of hoped that he would hear the sound of receding footsteps. If Bellamy left, he didn't have to worry about breaking down completely but that sound didn't come. Instead, Isaiah heard a couple of steps moving towards him and felt a presence beside him. He looked up enough to see that Bellamy had sat beside him. Isaiah was confused at that, the guard had no reason to stay with him if he had said that he was done with the questions. If the interview was over then he could leave Isaiah. For a second, Isaiah thought about verbalising the question of why he was there but then Bellamy spoke. Neither of the options that Bellamy gave were the correct ones and Isaiah looked up completely at him. "Someone stealing food is stupid," he said, his voice quiet. He did his best at keeping it clear and he was doing a better job at that but there was still a sting in his eyes. His body still felt like a pulled elastic ready to snap back.
If Bellamy wasn't going to leave him, he had to keep putting effort into not crying and that wasn't easy. Why couldn't he have just left? "That is but..." Isaiah trailed off from his words and shook his head a couple of times. Bellamy couldn't be that dumb to not get what Isaiah had meant, could he? If he was, Isaiah wasn't planning on spelling it out to the guard. If he already felt embarrassed and stupid over this whole situation, that would do nothing but make it worse. He felt more moisture on his cheeks and he wiped it away again as he sniffled. He looked back down and just breathed for a couple of moments. "Why are you still here?" he asked Bellamy, not bothering to look up when he asked it. "You said you don't have any more questions," he added. |

@mikha A silent post. XD When Maya stood up, Isaiah followed suit, taking one last bite of cake as he did. He put the fork down on the table and wiped his face on the end of his sleeve, turned slightly away from Maya as he did. He then pulled up his sleeves to his elbows and turned completely back to Maya with a smile. Her words caused him to smile brighter and he fought back a laugh. He had no idea what she wanted to show him and how serious it was but at hearing her words of sneaking out, it was hard to take the situation too seriously if he were to be completely honest. He made him think of spies from stories he had been told by his parents as a child. Like they were going to be sneaking around the mountain and spying on someone or something with the intention of not being seen. Like they were the bad guys.
He nodded and started with her towards the door. As they left the mess hall, no one paying the slightest attention to them, Isaiah tried to think of something he could say. They had stayed quiet to leave the room without bringing attention to themselves but now, Isaiah felt the silence growing and he wasn't sure if he was comfortable with it. The silence left his mind able to wander again and with it doing that, he was back to thinking about Maya. He glanced over at her, his eyes pausing on her lips before he forced them up to meet her own eyes. Alone, walking, Isaiah found it more difficult to think of reasons not to do something that he knew he would end up regretting. If he kissed her, he would probably destroy their friendship. As much as he liked her, he respected his friendships too much to mess them up. Maybe that was why he often found himself so uninterested in dating, because it could be such a dangerous thing. |

Gosh, Iah, using people is rude.
It had been about a week since the new people had arrived in the mountain. Isaiah had made it his mission to learn as much as he cold about them just for the simple fact that they were new and when did anything new every happen or arrive in Mount Weather? Isaiah knew everything he could about the mountain and its running, from the chef who made the best cake to the most shameful secret that everyone knew of but no one talked about. He knew about secret passages and vents that he likely shouldn't have, and had probably looked at every painting and art-piece in storage. That was what he was like, he loved to know the whys and the whats and didn't like coming across something he knew nothing about. So, the space people were a mystery that Isaiah personally felt he needed to solve.
Because of this, he had been spending some time in their dorms, chatting with whoever he could. The fact that surprised Isaiah was how open some of them were to talking to him, and talking about where they had come from. He would have thought they would be more closed off an suspicious of new people and places. Some were, he had found, but others seemed excited and completely happy to chat with Isaiah. That at least made it easier for him, being as shy as he could sometimes be, Isaiah tended to just run away when people looked unhappy to have him around. Which had happened to be his last experience trying to talk to one of them earlier that day. So he just found himself sitting on a bunk he knew was empty, checking the time and wondering if he they would need him to do an extra shift in agriculture.
It seemed he wouldn't be. A girl with dark hair and lively smile walked over to him, leaning against the bed post before speaking. Isaiah was taken aback, blinking a few times and leaning back just slightly at her words. Was she trying to flirt with him? He thought she was. A lot of the new people had been nice but he had to admit that was a new thing. Truthfully, not something he was particularly looking for. He paused for a moment before speaking, thinking carefully about what to say. If he turned her down he could be turning down an opportunity to learn more and that was definitely not something he wanted to do. He still wanted to solve the mystery of why they had been brought into Mount Weather. A bunch of kids doing nothing but making the mountain work harder.
He leaned towards her, planting a smile on his face. "The welcoming committee didn't do their job, huh?" he said, looking up at her. Although, he didn't have to look up very much. She was a lot shorter than him. "Well," he said as he stood up, ducking his head so that he didn't bang it on the top bunk. "I'm Isaiah and I guess I'll have to help you out." He held his hand out to shake while he tried to work out where he could take her. His first thought was obvious agriculture, since it was the place that he knew the best in the mountain and in his opinion, happened to be the most beautiful section. It was also the highest place in the mountain and happened to have the freshest air from all the plants. If she had come from outside then maybe she would appreciate that. And she seemed like the type to talk, so keeping her happy and interested would be a good plan. |

He's such a positive polly, right? Isaiah curled his fingers into fists as he fought his tears and wished that Bellamy would just end the questioning and go away. At least if Bellamy was gone he could cry without feeling embarrassed. He didn't care as much if any of the other farmers walked in to see him crying, a lot of them had known him as a nosy child and had seen worse than a few tears. It was Bellamy and it was the situation that had him fighting back his tears as much as he was. He blinked a couple of times and looked up at Bellamy when he spoke again, his tone so much softer and kinder than it had been before. Bellamy believed him. Isaiah stood there, eyes locked with Bellamy and couldn't find anything to tell him that he was being lied to.
"You do?" Isaiah croaked, his voice breaking a bit from the effort he was putting into keeping himself together. He simply breathed for a moment, letting himself repeat Bellamy's words in his mind a few times. Still, Isaiah felt a tear run down his cheek. There went not crying in front of Bellamy. He quickly looked down at his feet and swiped his hand under his eye to wipe away the wetness. As Bellamy asked if he wanted to sit down, Isaiah nodded. He didn't even care if Bellamy was teasing him, he did need to sit. Apparently, Bellamy had decided he wasn't guilty and yet he still couldn't seem to get himself back together. He took a couple of steps back until he felt the wall against his back and slid down to sit against it. "This is stupid," he said. He had managed to keep from anymore tears escaping, maybe he would be able to keep it together long enough for Bellamy to leave him. "So stupid," he muttered. |

Notes here. Isaiah chewed on the inside of his cheeks as Bellamy asked his next question. Technically, farmers weren't supposed to work in sections other than their own but he was sure they couldn't get into any trouble over that. The only thing it would really do was make it more difficult for the guards to find whoever had stolen the food. He paused at that thought, his eyes widening slightly as more panic hit him. What if Bellamy thought he was saying this to take suspicion off himself? He shut his eyes, tight. Now he was just letting his thoughts run a little too wild. Of course he wouldn't be thinking that because Isaiah was telling the truth and Bellamy would be able to know that. Isaiah trusted that he wasn't the only farmer being truthful about how things ran in agriculture. He needed to calm down before he did something worse, like started crying.
His eyes opened again and he looked back at Bellamy as he gave his answer. "Informal," he began, his voice shaking a bit on the word. He took in a deep breath through his nose and let it out through his mouth in hope that it might steady his voice when he spoke again. "But as far as I know, we've never gotten in trouble for it." That was probably the best thing he could say in terms of helping out those above him. Isaiah couldn't imagine those in charge not knowing about the things that were done in agriculture, as far as Isaiah knew, it had always been done the same way. That answer might have even helped to calm some of Isaiah's nerves, knowing he did something to ease himself on both sides of the pull. Being truthful and yet trying to protect those he knew he should have been. It would have if Bellamy hadn't asked his next question.
Isaiah's eyes widened, his mouth dropped open and he shook his head like an idiot. Did he look that guilty? He should have had more control over his nerves. "No, I-I didn't," Isaiah said, stopping his head from moving and then forcing his mouth to shut again. He could almost feel tears starting to form in his eyes. No, he thought, that is not happening. It was one thing to cry, it was another to cry in front of a guard when he was being questioned. It would be even another to cry in front of someone as good-looking as Bellamy. Why he even cared about that by that stage, he had no idea. There were a lot of good-looking people in Mount Weather. A few of which had probably seen him cry for one silly reason or another, at least when he was younger. He could still bring up the chili incident and cringe about it. And, quite frankly, it didn't matter if he cried in front of Bellamy because after this Isaiah couldn't imagine daring to ever talk to the guard again. He felt so embarrassed. |

@mikha They're cuties though. At the fact that Maya didn't seemed fazed by his compliment, Isaiah was relieved and let some of his worry go. It really was pointless and the chances of him doing something stupid that she would actually care about were probably quite slim. Then, as much as he put logic into it, it still didn't help with his emotions and did hardly nothing to calm the nerves that all but multiplied at just the sight of Maya, let alone now when he was interacting with her. He watched her as she ate some cake, taking another bite himself as she did. It was good cake but then the cake was always good. He hoped the recipe got passed down and that the cake stayed for his whole life. It was definitely his favourite thing in the mountain. It also helped with his nerves as well, he had decided as a kid that chocolate was better than any medicine and whenever he had fallen over and hurt his knee like kids do, instead of running straight to medical he had gone to find some cake.
Then Maya was talking about how she would enjoy being a part of medical because she enjoyed helping others. Isaiah couldn't help but smile at that, finding that hearing that made him respect her even more than he already did. He had known that, at least he had known that she was a helpful and caring person but to hear that it was the reason behind why she was studying what she was studying, it made him see her better than he had before. While Maya was definitely pretty, Isaiah knew that a lot of his feelings for her came from who she was. To him, she was a perfect person. She was strong and caring, beautiful inside and out. And when she laughed it was the most beautiful sound he had ever heard. He was unable to do anything but smile at her.
When Maya's gaze were on his eyes, he returned it. When she winked, he fought the urge to look down at the table shyly. She was probably just winking about his cake comment but he was looking at her eyes and part of him really didn't want to look away They were just as beautiful as the rest of her. He didn't last long, however, before he did look back down at the cake and take another bite of it. He laughed lightly at Maya's comment, feeling a slight colour move onto his cheeks at the mention of love. "And this does feel like love," he added on to her comment, taking some cake onto his fork and holding the utensil up slightly. As much as he comment had definitely been about cake, it was difficult for him to think just about cake when Maya was there and his own emotions were starting to become harder and harder to ignore.
His gaze lingered on her lips and he had to force himself to look away after a moment, willing himself not to do anything stupid. The way she had bitten her lip was what had gained the attention of his eyes but maybe he should have been focusing more on her eyes again. When she spoke this time, there was clear worry in her voice and Isaiah suddenly felt worried himself. Had he done something wrong? Said something wrong? But she was talking about wanting to show him something and that didn't sound like it was related to anything that he could have done. "You can trust me," Isaiah told her and it was the most confident thing he had said to her since sitting with her at the table. If there was one thing Isaiah really believed he was, it was trustworthy. He gave her a reassuring smile and was thankful for the distraction this new topic gave from his feelings towards her. |

Gosh, he's a ball of stress. He's worse than me! XD
It was a calming fact that Bellamy wasn't being aggressive at all in his questioning. He was calm and that would definitely help in keeping Isaiah calm. Isaiah noticed the fact that Bellamy took notes at his answer and while that was something that made him feel a little uncomfortable, he could push logic in to that to tell him why it was happening. If he kept reminding himself it was fine, it would be. "Um." Isaiah paused, trying to think back to when he had started working with the root vegetables. He had started off picking fruit, like most new workers did, and then moved onto roots later on. "I think six months," he told Bellamy, hoping that was right. "No longer than a year. I used to pick fruit as my main job before this," he added on the extra details, hoping it didn't matter too much about the fact that he couldn't quite remember how long he'd been working in roots. It had felt like forever, if he were to be honest.
If Bellamy's calm had been keeping Isaiah calm before, it was definitely working less now. Isaiah's mind began to race a little with worry about his last answer and he found himself almost missing Bellamy's next question. He looked up at Bellamy confused for a moment before he realised what the guard had asked. The stress that he was now feeling must have also been showing, going by the extra comment Bellamy gave before Isaiah answered. "Oh, um, I think we aren't supposed to have much access to other sections but if a section is behind on work and needs help, they ask for it." All the farmers knew that they probably weren't supposed to do things that way, that it wasn't exactly how things were intended to run but it was the only way to keep everything running. Agriculture was one of the busiest sections in the mountain and it was sometimes obvious that there weren't always enough farmers to keep it running well enough. "Everyone could have been everywhere," he decided to add on, making things clearer for the guard.
The last thing Isaiah wanted was to get any of the others in trouble, especially those that ran agriculture but he couldn't lie. Not only would it be bad for him to be caught out lying - he hadn't stolen the food and didn't want to make it look like he had - but it was also against his nature to. He lied when he needed to but otherwise he held strong morals and tended to trust the things that his parents had taught him. So he found himself feeling like he were being pulled a bit, having given the truth but now in worry that it was the wrong thing to say. For someone just being asked a couple of questions, he felt like he was stressing way more than he logically should have been. And it must have been showing on his face, Isaiah knew he didn't hide his emotions well. He'd never had to. He felt like he looked guilty. |
