❅AI GONPLEI❅ When Verno moved his hand away from his dagger, she finally unnotched her arrow. Her bow was slid onto her back and the arrow stashed back into her quiver. It was less a show of trust, because she did not trust easily, than it was a show of respect and decency. No one enjoyed having the threat of a weapon looming over them, even if it was not directly aimed at them.
"Yes." Her answer to his assertions and question was simple. He was not mistaken in calling her a warrior, nor was he mistaken about her people. There was no need to complicate the matter with unnecessary words.
"I have not seen many animals today." At least, nothing she wished to eat. A few birds, yes, but she was not a fan of bird meat. She had seen a squirrel or two, but they were far too gamey for her tastes. It would have been cause for alarm if she had not spotted the few she had. but it did make her wonder what kind of predators travelled this particular section of woods. "Are there many predators around?"

❅AI GONPLEI❅ The foliage rustled and Isa quickly shifted her aim. A human, but not one she recognised. She made no move to lower her weapon and kept it aimed as he spoke in broken English and slowly made himself visible. Either he had wanted to get the drop on her, screwed up, and was now playing non-threatening or he was not a threat.
"I am Isa, of the Azgeda." She answered with the smooth English of a warrior long used to the language. Her icy blue eyes slid over him for a moment, noting any visible weapons and the rabbit he carried with him. A hunter, perhaps? Or simply someone foraging for a fresh meal.
After a moment she lowered her bow, but the arrow remained notched in case he turned hostile on her. He appeared to be Trikru, if the style of clothing was a true indication of his allegiance, which meant she would be wise to be extra careful about not killing him unless absolutely neccessary. If there was to be war between the Azgeda and Trikru again, Isa had no intentions of being the one to ignite it.
"On a hunt?" She motioned slightly towards the rabbit. After a moment she shifted to accented Trigedasleng. "If you truly come in peace, you'll be unharmed. If you should direct your weapon towards me then only one of us will remain standing."

❅AI GONPLEI❅ Isa kept an arrow notched as she carefully stepped over a particulary dry looking bit of shrubbery. She kept her eyes moving over the greenery, keeping an eye out for predators as she made her way through. She remembered once, what seemed like ages ago and yet yesterday as well, war waged between her people and others.
She was on edge. Not because she feared the animals that roamed these woods. She was on edge because of the Trikru she may stumble across. They were at at peace now, but she was not sure how long that may last and who would be the one to strike first.
For now she focused on possibly catching an animal for her meal tonight. Although she had rations, the idea of a fresh meal tempted her greatly.
Thinking that perhaps she heard something, she lifted her bow slightly and listened carefully. She would not let loose an arrow until she knew where the sound was coming from and that it was an animal she could make a meal of. The last thing she needed was to shoot a little rabbit or one of her 'allies.'

❅AI GONPLEI❅ Isa would not readily admit to being curious about the Sky Person walking among them. At a glance he blended in, dressed as any of their warriors would, but Isa knew he was Skaikru. Perhaps it was the knowledge of his origins that underlined the differences in accent and movement.
He had not been there long, but she had watched him. Not all the time. Just when she happened to be nearby. He always seemed stiff when she spotted him. It made sense, considering who he was.
She did not mean to even think about the stranger in their midst. She had simply meant to top off her waterskin before heading out into the forest to do some hunting, but she heard the shift in voices as the outsider-in-familiar-clothes approached.
She was sitting on a water barrel, waiting, when the rest of her people left to go about her business. She was out of the way so he could still have access to the water, but close enough so that he could not avoid her in the process. She just waited as she trimmed the fletching of an arrow and watched him from beneath lowered lashes.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ "She speaks for the alliance. For now." Isa said no more about that. Clarke did not see the years of bloody war preluding the Coalition, but she was no naieve child to believe that going back to the way things were would be better. No, they had their peace even if it was flawed. It would last, until someone finally had enough and decided war was the better choice.
Orphaned by the war, Isa was torn between dreading it's return and heralding it's coming.
"Do you want me to condemn you and your people?" Isa's expression was carefully guarded. Blank so Clarke could not read her feelings on the matter. She was wanting to see the truth of the woman. There was something about the way she spoke, or rather the way she did not speak, that made Isa think she was a bit closer to the death's than she wanted to admit. "Or should I tell you that you did what you have to? Neither will ring completely true, will it?"
If Isa were more open with her thoughts, she would tell Clarke that the Skaikru did what they had to with the situation they were given. There was no way anyone could take on Mount Weather without casualties. Death happens and the Skaikru merely hastened the inevitable.
If she were more open she would tell Clarke to worry less about the deaths of the Mountainmen and what that meant for the Skaikru. Now the Azgeda, and all the other Grounder Nations, knew they were a force to be reckoned with. Useful allies, but deadly enemies.
"Tracks. We're getting close to a den." Isa motioned down to barely visible indentations in the snow. "Light feet, Clarke."

- Gods yes. Poke and prod at the feisty Isa! I'm totally game for this. He's certainly welcome to make her temper flare. It'll just add to her frustrations since she has to hold back on acting on it since they are sort of allies. She might just end up jumping his bones. I mean, what? Ahem. Definitely think we should thread with these two. Totally.
- Well, at first glance you wouldn't know she has the deformations. She keeps the obvious ones covered with a shawl and the scales are only visible if she undresses, since they're usually covered by her clothing. There is some potential here for an interesting friendship, I suppose. Although she'd have trouble relaxing around him, since she's not used to being around others and wouldn't be able to take off her shawl.
- I can't really think anything at the moment that would be interesting for Harper and Kinos. So no threads there, until something good comes to mind.

Okay so I have three characters Isa, Amuna, and @harper. All of which could fit into ANY of the three categories. Isa is Azgeda (Ice Nation) so she's an ex-enemy of the Trikru. Which means she COULD be an enemy of Kinos or a reluctant friend. Of course, lover is also a possibility since she doesn't really draw the line between friend, enemy, and lover. (If she wants it, she'll jump it - regardless of allegiance.) She's a fierce warrior and can be a bit cold and aggressive. She can be find on Trikru lands or in her own lands. Amuna is nomadic, originally from the Sankru (sand people.) She has no alliances with anyone since she's deformed (horns, forked tongue, a few scales.) She's more of a lover than a fighter, though she doesn't love easily. Once she does love, she's hella loyal. In fights she's more likely to try to escape than to actually fight, unless she has no other choice. Amuna's primary location is the Deadzone, but it isn't impossible for her to travel outside of it. @harper is an Arker/Delinquent. Canon to The 100. She's part of Bell's militia so we know she's a fighter. Alliance/friendliness between her and Grounders is difficult due to the history between them, but not impossible. She isn't as aggressive as Isa, but she is willing to go after something (or someone) she wants - although if rejected by a person she'll let it go and move on. Harper's mostly found wherever the main Arker delinquents are.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ "Something like that." She was not sure what to do with the Trikru male who had interrupted her fun, but she bit back the urge to cause him hard. Sure, he cockblocked like a champion leaving her hot and bothered, but he thought he was helping.
"I've got this." Isa ran her fingers through her mussed hair, mentally cursing the situation. Her emotions and hormones were on edge, but she could handle herself and the source of her irritation. That and Bellamy was already heading towards the door. What had transpired between the two of them, what had been interrupted, was done and over with.
"Go ahead and go. We'll stay here for a while." She did not take her eyes off of the grounder in front of her, shooting him a warning look. "We're not gonna follow. Right Alekay? He's done no harm and I owe him this much."
That and she owed the Trikru some payback for his untimely interruption.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ "Waste happens." Isa replied with a shrug. "There are some people - sometimes only one but sometimes an entire group - that aren't fit to survive. It may seem like a waste at the time, especially with so few people in the world, but in the end aren't those remaining strengthened by it?"
"I've heard some." Icy eyes slid towards the other blonde. There was no judgement in them. Just stoic measurement. "Mount Weather dropped a bomb on TonDC. I saw it from a distance among the last of the Azgeba to enter the Trikru territory. Hardly a surprise they acted. Our leaders should've known better than to meet there, but hindsight sees all."
"As for Mount Weather... They made a deal with the Trikru, but made no such deal with your Skaikru." She did not know the particulars of what had happened within the mountain compound that led to the survival of Clarke's people, but she knew the basics. Isa never followed the rumours to find out more. "Your people made it out alive and, from what I hear, none of the Mountain Men have been seen since."

❅AI GONPLEI❅ Isa cursed her luck when a voice interrupted her fun moments before it would truly begin. The air felt cold against her icy flesh as Bellamy and she quickly set to right her clothing. Her unfulfilled desires left her body tense and on fire, which only added fuel to her fury. Whoever had to go and barge in was in for it. A few solid whacks to their head would serve them right, at the very least, although slicing the person up was highly tempting.
It was a Trikru and not an unfamiliar one. The sight of him did not lessen her fury, but it contained it. The last thing she needed was to act on her anger and cause an incident - even if it was highly tempting.
So Isa was forced to stay in place and try to calm her temper enough so that she would not do something that could cause the peace between the Azgeda and Trikru to be questioned. Besides, Bellamy seemed to be doing just fine in subduing the man.
"I must have the worst luck." Isa finally crossed over and knelt in front of their interrupter so that he could get a clear look at her. Although her pale face had flushed with colour and lips were a bit swollen from Bellamy's kiss, she was clearly unharmed. "I could strangle you, you know that right? I finally get a chance to have a little fun and you just had to cockblock. Jerkwad."

❅AI GONPLEI❅ "Nothing spares the innocent." Isa did not say it to be cruel and dash any hopes that Clarke may have. The world that they lived in was not one where innocents escaped the cruelty of man and nature. Everything came with a price.
"The Mountain Men have been harming people for years." She paused as she looked at Clarke. The woman had clearly seen a lot in her years on the Ground, but she still held onto ideals that were almost adirable, if a bit childish. She had enough strength to survive, but the goodness and belief in peaceful solutions would take quite a beating. "They put the well-being of their own others, which inheritely isn't a bad thing, but they were unreasonable. They weren't willing to deal with the Trikru or anyone else."
There was guilt in the woman. Isa could see that. There was something heavy she was struggling with. Something that drove her away from her people and into the wild unknown.
"Sometimes people just can't be reasoned with. Sometimes bloodshed is the only way for the majority to survive." She told herself she was not offering comfort to the woman. She was merely just stating the obvious. "Not everyone can survive no matter how hard they try."

❅AI GONPLEI❅ She was cursing the comfortable leather of her clothing, around the same time that he was, as his fingers pressed into her thighs. Luckily for her he seemed to figure out how to navigate around the fastenings to get past the barrier. She kept her legs wrapped around him but wiggled her hips to help him tug her clothing down.
Then his fingers brushed over her core and a sound between a whimper and a moan left her lips, muffled by the deep kiss. Impatience made her nip as his lips, urging him to hurry up as his hands left her to unfasten his own pants. Her fingers flexed in anticipation, digging into his flesh again before dipping down to give him a hand in getting those pesky pants of his off. Her body was on fire with desire and she really did not want to wait any longer then she had to before she got the satisfaction it demanded.
Isa did not hear someone on the other side of the bunker door. They had closed it when they entered the building, but had not engaged the locks. They had been more concerned with escaping the fog then ensuring that they would remain alone in the bunker. They were both distracted and the fog, which had passed already, had been forgotten.

❅AI GONPLEI❅ "Only time will tell." It went without saying that at some point the Skaikru and Grounders will run into one another. Winter was coming and it will be the first one for the Skaikru. While Isa did not know what winter was like where Clarke came from, she doubted that it was the same as what they would soon face.
If the alliance that had come up between the Skaikru and Grounders still existed, then it was likely one would offer the other some assistance. The Azgeda were experts when it came to Winter so some of Isa's people may be sent down to work with the Skaikru to assist them. It was also possible that some would come to the village to learn first hand. So Clarke may end up having to face her people sooner rather than later.
"I agreed to nothing." Isa replied with a hint of emotion colouring her tone. A bitterness of unfinished business. "But war has to end one way or another. This is the best case scenario..." She paused as she stopped walking and turned to look at her. "We question her, but her words are not law. We can, along with the other clans, override her if we have a strong enough reason to disagree."
After a moment she turned away and continued to walk through the snowy woods. "Aside from a peace that lessens the number of those dead, it opened up trading between the clans which is beneficial. That and we know that Lexa is a leader who bases her decisions on logic rather than emotion, as any leader should. Makes tolerating the Coalition more bearable."
